I know right? He could’ve done it like at least ten times before. But is it a coincidence that it happened on the day that the inspectors came. Hmmm.Very suspicious. IM ON TO YOU JEREMY
I always thought in the face of impending death he went insane and had a happy maniac outlook since his mental state was fractured upon realizing he won't live another day
I feel like it could've been cool if the video was originally soundless and the inspectors were like " Oh they look happy!" and then it played it again with the sound on.
Studio C, do I have your persmission to do that? I could EASILY do that . . . except I would need some voice acting done . . . you know what . . . you can do that.
Y'know, I'm glad that they mentioned that two or three safety systems failed. For some reason people assume that the first time something goes wrong at a nuclear power plant that it's going to go full Chernobyl.
+Maddbox11235 People assume that? I think it'd only be natural to think that there'd be more than one preventative measure when it comes to something potentially catastrophic...
Retardationful You'd be surprised. Most people I've met who object to nuclear power are worried about the place blowing up, as opposed to actual issues like radioactive waste that takes a few millenia to decay.
+Maddbox11235 The only problem with what they said was the part about it being critical. In a nuclear power plant the desired state of the reactor is critical.
Luna Lovegood I tried to watch it without sound, but my brain can only focus on something for so long that isn't making sound so I kept falling into daydreams.
"Guys, it looks like the reactor's going CRITICAL!!!" "Yay!!" "Good job, Jeremy, keep a happy face for the inspectors." "What inspectors!?" Omg that kills me!
@Wobblyorbee It’s implied in the skit that Jeremy was happy they were going to die soon. The “what inspectors” line reveals that he was being one hundred percent honest about his exclamation and glee about the reactor going critical and thus implies that he was ready for it to all go crazy.
Jacey Patterson I just did that and it was so so so so so funny. If I hadn't watched it with sound first I would've thought they were talking about pizza with Whitney's hand or something. Like hey check out this pizza!
***** Oh, please, don't give me that. As I was responding to a comment instructing me to watch a video with the volume off, I have the right to get bored after a while. I have ADHD and get distracted and bored very easily. I never said the sketch was boring, just the fact that staring at the actions of only one person for three minutes or more is. If you have a problem with my personal opinion, please keep it to yourself as you cannot possibly know the reasoning behind it unless you ask. P.S. I think your comment was completely immature and uncalled for. Also, why only hate on me and not the other commenter? How was my comment so hateful to you that you had to be rude yourself?
@@dragonraptor3435 I'm sure. It's a rock. You get it hot. A hot rock, if you will. The hot rock turns ultra pure water into pressurized steam that turns a turbine. The steam goes through a self contained loop to cool down, then goes to the hot rock again. Nuclear power is actually super simple.
Jeremy was me when we saw a tornado slowly forming on the sea ahead of us while we are on a boat (a small boat)...i was laughing the whole time, not the same reason as what Jeremy said, but because other people's faces who were with me look like hope abandoned all of us. Thankfully, it vanished before the tornado touched the water.
The “Raise your eyebrows. Look happy” and “ I’m gonna go throw up” parts were hilarious, especially Whitney’s face while screaming when she raised her eyebrows. 😂🤣
I think some people missed that bit at the end where the inspectors said "They need to learn to turn that intercom off" which means they heard everything they said
This would've been twice as hilarious if it was released on December 21st, 2012, when "the world was going to end". I'd imagine my friend saying, "Aw... the end of the world is canceled?"
so nice sun machine prop, old old device for diagnosis and timing adjustments on older vehicles. it totally works regifted as a nuclear monitoring device
I know this is an old comment, but there's a lot of misconceptions about nuclear plants. The inspector's behavior is not really unreasonable. In a light water reactor, the coolant and moderator are the same thing. So, in the event of a loss of coolant, it's physically impossible to sustain fission. That's one reason no western plant can ever experience a Chernobyl-type disaster.
I lost my wifi during the video and I was yelling for one of my parents to get the wifi back so I could finish the video. That is how much i like studio c! One like on this comment if you like studio c as much as me.
I don't know what is more funny. Knowing (and anticipating) that the punchline would be that the inspectors could hear everyone word. Or hearing the inspectors conform what I knew along.
