We need a "code of conduct", a " Black agenda" . Money isn't the problem. Individualism and capitalism is God. We don't respect each other nor communities, families. We don't think future generations. Yt supremacy has successfully broken blk people in the America.
@@coreythomas3633 I ,m not using any reverse psychology in my comment , I said all human beens because there are people of all races with some messed up mindset who refuse to learn and grow, all the best to you
... Because we are Not a people subjegated under a system of White Supremacy.... It was our mindset that got us messed up. Not a racist country that we built...FOR FREE... GOT IT! SMH
There is a lot of every “man” for themselves and man versus woman in the black community. The love for our culture needs to be nurtured so we all can benefit from one another as a race. I love black people and some of our culture.
Operating out of fear… creates selfishness. We as black Americans have overcome oppression but we operate in the triggers of it because… the residuals of slavery are still present because as a culture, many of us or unhealed and we’ve passed the trauma through the generations. We’ve come a mighty long way but we still have a lot of work to do. We need to be more solution focused!
I believe building family structure is the vocal point of elevations on all levels because it motivates you to do better emotionally, spiritually, financially etc. It’s all about the SOLID FOUNDATION the blueprint is built on
Point was we had to scrub them for FREE...to provide a pathway for your booty scratchin' ass to come here and cos-play Black Americans. Just start your little stinkin' janitor business and stay the hell out of Black American's history. You totally missed the boat Ubuntu. LITERALLY....TETHER.
❤ To me the number one problem in the black Community is someone coming along and saying something like this that I never want my children to listen to.
Progress is slow but gradual. We as black folk have to learn to together collectively like other ethnicities. For example, I love the Vietnamese culture because they understand that if one of them wins we all win. Alot of us make it and then we forget!
Man needs to be in the household not the government. The structure of the home is what needs to be repaired between men and women. Stagnation is suffocating and the time to improve ourselves is now.....
If it doesn’t sell, who are they selling it to US if we didn’t buy it they couldn’’t sell it… We have way more control over what happens to us individually and collectively.
It can't be only be about money. There is a spiritual and emotional component that is also necessary. We shouldn't continue to measure success only in dollars.
Great content and message. It is so refreshing to hear positive and honest dialogue vs the negative heard between our men and women today. Gives me hope!
Welllllllllllllll she said what she said with Allllllllll authority! Ijs Yall betta stop playing with the Lord and his word...he said "greater is he that is within meeee" Hell nah😂🤣🤪
Would help if even a few successful black men actually LIKED black women. We're accountable for ALL the ills in our community, yet get no credit for has been accomplished!
Just because your stankin ass isn't a catch don't throw successful Black men under the bus. 80% of MARRIED Black men marry Black Women. But you don't want them unless they are "successful not driving a bus". Sit yo single ass down.
I agree, 1 of the reasons that there are so many single women in the church ⛪ is, because the deaconesses, church mothers, etc. have emotionally married the pastor......Why submit to my husband when I've already submitted to The Bishop🤷🏾♂️
I wish you showed the fulll interview so people could get the full context. However, she ain’t wrong. If you look at the current state and how many don’t know our full past we keep repeating it. There are things we do as a people that take us out more than anything else can. We can turn things around but we need more people and platforms teaching the skills that are needed to build something more solid. I look at where I grew up and how it has declined and that has nothing to do with social media.
The work, interviews have already been done. Google Dr. Joy Degruy, Dr Umar Johnson, Michelle Alexander etc. There are active people literally trying to change a culture. But most don't even know who they are. We are steep covered in yt supremacy in just about every area of our lives. Unable to differentiate colonizer way of thinking and elevation. Most blk people in America born and raised don't care, context either included. We are divided when comes to reparations. Just to name one. Another would be our spiritual systems. That most American blks throw in the trash. Not know sum of it could liberate us. It's a lot.
@@celestialbeing4767 we’ve become too selfish as a ppl and community. Talking to Blk folk’s about being better and the work needed is like talking to a brick wall. We ate last cause we’re comfortable with it
Yes and know. There are those that are woke. But pretending to be sleep. Aiding in our captivity. Being agents of yt supremacy. Contributing to it also. Aware and unaware.
Money is just energy and tool used for obtaining materials things. The mindset is the most important thing to address, including spirituality…not religion. I agree with focusing on building the family structure because that can lead to mindset shifts. When you are properly aligned, abundance comes anyway.
Child development is first and foremost the most devastating factor in the black community. The lack of situational awareness that parents have in their own homes is absurd. Entirely too many kids out at night doing self destructive things and many have guns as teenagers. We need to stop this. In addition to the absence of males in the house, females also need to be accountable. Which also goes with parents. If your 15 or 16 year old daughter is pregnant, you need to terminate that pregnancy. No reason why there needs to be a high school graduate with two kids. You can be a parent at 16, doesn’t mean you’re a mom. You’re not ready. And the father should be present as well. A 16 year old kid is gonna be petrified knowing he’s gonna be a parent. No wonder no one sticks around. Use your resources and plan accordingly
We have to believe it before you see it. Not the other way around. Dreaming the dream allows the possibilities to come into fruition. Your words create, and if you say we won’t see it, “you” won’t see it. I already know we are currently in the midst of this change. Connect with God & connect with yourself first and the miracles will happen overnight.
"We are not sick people, we are around sick people." "Nothing is wrong with us something happen to us." Rev. Dr. Philippe SHOCK Matthews We don't need them they need us . Who mimics who all the time.
Tan shorts said it.. it came out funny but facts Women seek guidance .. religion n spirituality take the front seat Until a masculine who truly follows what his creator tells him to do appears there is no other man to follow as a single woman unless you still living at home Can’t follow him n he leading his self no where with a smile, suit and tie
I wish sooooo much as well. Jesus should always be first. Unfortunately, so many make a mockery of God. He can not be mocked. What I do know. IN This House. We WILL SERVE THE LORD!
Not true, for the majority. If you know only english language that's one. Have a hatred for other spiritual systems outside Christianity that's two, don't know very much of our history outside slavery. Yeah that three. The list is long.
@@celestialbeing4767 we have no history before slavery. Those slaves were conquered. We are Black Americans, like it or not. Slavery IS our origin story. Christianity is about religion, not spirituality, and most of us aren't even Christian anymore anyway. The disdain these days is for all religions. As a people, we have our ebbs and flows, but we are not conquered and have never surrendered. We may not be where we wanna be as a people, and while we haven't come together in mass to fight for the same things, the majority of us are still fighting for our place, our respect, and our identity. And I am sure you and i are on different ends of the spectrum as far as what we consider that identity is or should be.
@Sonny Q Soul You speaking to a tether. No way a Black American is this ignorant. Most African slaves went to Brazil. These clowns NEVER talk this way to they spicy bunda in a bikini. The goal is to self hate while looking for pan-pu$$y
13:12 50 years ago us at a people weren't this bad... so with music, technology, and increasing poverty, in 200 years y'all think it's gonna be better 😂🤦🏾♂️
Exactly. We are capable abd equipped. We mess up waiting on ppl to give us opportunities and fighting for certain rights as tho we cant build our own stuff. Nothing wrong with fighting for rights but it shldnt stop there. Every type of industry can have a black owned version of that and we can fund ourselves...insurance, hospitals, schools etc. We are an intelligent and creative ppl. We dont need to be babies sitting at a high chair waiting to be fed by a racist system that never wanted us to succeed. Weve come far enough to be able to build on our own. We are not victims.
9:47 Family over everything, but good luck making it shake without any money, 🤷🏾♂️, also capitalism doesn't benefit individuals, it benefits business and innovation. If the family is in business or people are in business. They win at capitalism as well😂
They wanna "pool their money" with random N!ggas and don't realize other communities don't even do that nonsense. FAMILY BUSINESS (to your point) has been the secret. The Ashkanazi small hats won't even be on the same block as Hacidic. We gotta cut it out with the "All we buy is yachts and Jordans" talking points...It's just NOT TRUE.
Welfare didn’t put black man at the house black man we’re allowed to be in the house that law was changed early on if you look at history and when it was a law only a few states had it why do people keep saying this
Every time I hear the argument of women choosing the government of their men, I ask what man was in the house that would just up and leave his family? I know my dad would never. My brothers would never. I haven't met any man who would accept that as an option. Is this a lie that "people" are trying to sell or were the men just not in the picture before the government assistance because the couple already broke up?
She didn’t say women love the pastor more. Weed clouds hearing and understanding. What she meant is, women do not have a man cause most black men are locked up and there is a shortage. Those who aren't appealing for the white man, have no man. They are troubled and women mostly go to church so to stay out of places that will causes them problems, which permeates on down to her kids. She loves and rely on Jesus to help her make it through. One would have to attend church to know these things.
It’s disheartening to know that we are divided and Lewis is right GOD is the black woman’s husband and because some black men are choosing to invest in the third dimensional aspects of this world we are losing globally Black and Latina women are some of the most educated beings on this planet yet mostly undervalued and misunderstood We’ve got to do better collectively I’ve worked in nursing homes for the first half of my life and it’s mostly filled with black men who don’t have families This is why the family connection needs to be mended
Latinos LITERALLY have the HIGHEST HIGH SCHOOL DROP OUT RATE IN AMERICA.... You were saying about "Black ....AND BROWN....Being the most educated"? Y'all gotta cut it out with these 1990s Harpo Winfrey talking points.
Women do not choose men. Men choose women. Women and men both CHOOSE each other. She can walk away and he KNEW he did not want a relationship with that woman when he came up in her.
When we stop covet, other races, communities, and men/women, We need to love ourselves, skin color and children it will never change. And stop making excuses for stupidity and self-hatred.
Now that you told the comment section how much you actually hate Black people...Last I checked nobody "Hated ourselves, skin color, & children" more than the dominant society. What Gubment cheese YOU grew up on? P.S. most black people are not in poverty and 80% of MARRIED Black men marry Black Women. Black men also are the most in their children's lives. Your talking points are damn near White Supremacy at this point.
1. Please stop jumping to the conclusion that all Baptist ministers are persons of ill repute. (I say this as a spiritualist.) 2. Women and men must take responsibility for our actions within the world and our communities. 3. I agree with Jennifer Lewis' commentary.
I agree the system likes us better as singles so we have to bypass the gender war bs, be long term goal oriented and do the work. The gender wars are surface level. Let the "man haters" and the "woman haters" do their thing and get left behind. Deal with people who are working on that greater purpose in life and you won't even be bothered by the bitter and angry. God made us for each other. ❤
Surprising to hear this serious-ass subject treated with comedy. I mean, yeah, you gotta laugh in this life if you don't want to spend all your time crying, but the treatment here seems frivolous to me.
And we pooled our money and wound up with a bunch of CO-OP businesses. The rich home owners in the 'burbs rent to the inner city. Chinaman don't even like Koreans, Japanese hate the Chinese, Taiwan hates the Phillipines, and they ALL HATE BLACK PEOPLE. That whole "If we only pool our excess resources together" talking points has been debunked since damn near Obama.
We are failing… stop with the bs talk.. we haven’t made any progress…. Other groups are far ahead… I honestly think it too late.. we are getting more ridiculous by second
