Is this hooked up to your computer? Is it possible to use this just with a phone and head phones?

Hi! I got my NUX MG101. I'm experiencing a noise. It's a direct to smartphone recording using the MG101's supplied cable USB to type C cable and added an OTG as shown on the manual. The noise happens like few seconds after the recording. I bought a brand new Samsung phone since the MG101 does not support my old Samsung phone 2017 model. Seeking for your expertise on this.
