This scene always stood out to me. The way Hap looks at her like stalking prey. No wonder he is looking to find out why these people are so amazing, and why the NDE's contribute to their closeness to... God. He is so envious because he does not have this relationship to the universe as those who have died. Brilliant.
At 0:42 the scene gives my goosebumps. The other side of Cuba, not the touristic places, the sounds of the city, the colors, and the beautiful guitar song. A totally different mood from the whole series and it’s unique and so memorable. The OA was one of the greatest, most powerful and unique series of all time, unfortunately with no end. I’m glad someone else is still upset about it. You could tell that the intended conclusion of the show was already known to the creators and that it was an extremely complex puzzle for us the figure out, with details from the very start being puzzle pieces and subtle clues. I actually write them a nasty mssg (netflix) and I’ve never done that before. But you don’t take on a project like this and not finish it. It’s a travesty.
Poor Renata. I bet she wishes she stuffed up a few notes in this performance. I hope they do something with her character in season two. Like Rachel, not a lot of focus on her.
Eleanore Howe you are so wrong !!!! Do you know who is Rachel ? She is the FBI guy sister....wait and see what is coming in season 2 ....in his office you can see her name and at the beginning he told OA that she had not idea how much they were related...he put those books in there
I searched everywhere for this exact rendition but it seems it was never actually recorded elsewhere which is a shame cuz I like this version the best. Guess I have to just come here to enjoy it. Also that was the best part

che questo brano meraviglioso l'abbia composto Leo Brouwer lo sappiamo..io invece vorrei sapere proprio in questo episodio CHI è L'ARTISTA CHE INTERPRETA IL PEZZO. E' DAVVERO NOTEVOLE..ne ho ascoltate tante versioni, ma cmq mi pare resti la migliore intepretazione..ai livelli di John Williams..
Desde que escuche esta guitarra por primera vez pense que el compositor podria ser peruano, sin embargo no fue así. Supe que el autor Leo Brouwr se inspiro en la tecnica peruana andina de ahí viene el nombre "danza del altiplano" les invito tambien escuchar a Raul Garcia Zarate, quien fallecio en 2017. The music bears a a remarkable similarity (ie they're the same!!!!!!) to "Going Home" by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits wich was the theme to the film Local Hero. Not sure who thieved from who, probably Knoplfler, but, hey, neither the British or the Spanish have a history of global thievery :) [Futher Googling later.. pretty much sounds like the Spanish got in there first on this one....]
