Duane had strong vocal up to 1990s but it seems to have the biggest change. His voice not as strong. The others still sound strong even william Golden.
I wish they would come to Michigan I want to go their concert so bad they are so talented and upbeat but I don't think I will ever be fortunate enough to get to their concert
it's clearly not a professional recording so the sound is not going to be perfect for a camera alone on the third row or so, it's fine. plus the fact that they clearly state that Duane has laryngitis.
So here’s my take. I think it more or less takes guts for Duane to have laryngitis and still go on and sing even if he knows he’s not gonna sound as good as he usually would. But what I don’t get is people giving not just Duane but all of the guys flak simply because of their age and such. I think if you’re a fan of the artists and a fan of the music you’ll enjoy them regardless, and simply be thankful to see them live or make new music in any case

Duane was sick so that didn’t help that was a bad night for them. I went to go see them last month and they were amazing! I wish people would stop telling them they should retire. They will retire when they want to and when they feel like it. Which they have said is nowhere near. As long as they feel good and are happy singing on stage, I will pay to see them
This was a bad night for them. Duane was sick. And other problems. They will retire when they want to as long as they feel good they will keep singing. I saw them last month and sounded very good. A lot better than this concert. They have said that when they feel like they need to retire, they will retire. And they feel great. And that that’s nowhere near. I know the Oak Ridge boys personally. And they are very healthy. Joe has a little bit of a leg problem. But that’s getting better. And last month doctors gave Richard wrong medicine and made him sick so he had to mess a few shows. But he’s fine now.
Doesn't take much lol, When I saw them in 2019 I was 20 years old and besides my mom everyone else was at least triple my age. The history of the Oaks goes back over 80 years
What a terrible thing to say. Let me ask you this? Are YOU as well known and respected as they are? Do you donate your time and TALLENTS To make some one smile, and get out there and make more in one night than you do in a single month when the house is packed for every single performance . You got some soul searching to do pal. They probly hurt with every movement but they still get out there and kill it, and then some smart ads like you says something so out of like it makes me sick.

They probably use their earnings to pay call girls to try and restore the manhood that time has stolen from them. They are old, decrepit and now without talent. They are about as likable as a roach
@@russellgrimes3491 Yep, I have loved their music all my life but I am not paying the heavy price per ticket they wanted to see them in Hiawasse GA. I would have been seriously disappointed. Hopefully they don’t need the nursing home yet but only one of them still have the gift of singing to be worth the money to watch.
@@deepnature6117 I just watched them sing Dream On again after you posted your reply. It is difficult to listen to the song without cringing and Sterban looks like a character created to scare young children. It sucks getting old but people need to learn when they no longer have enough talent to succeed. Many boxers learn they must retire after they get pummeled and knocked through the ropes. These guys are in the same situation but people keep buying tickets.
So who else sounded bad? I don’t care if you think they sound bad, but just keep it to yourself please😊 I’ve been friends with the Oak Ridge boys for years and they’re very picky about the way they sound. And wouldn’t like somebody suggesting that they should retire. They’re all feeling good and have no plans of retiring so I think it should be their decision. I would pay to see them even if they sounded terrible. Which they don’t right now.
They’re in their 80s, they’ve been singing over 50 years, and you’re not happy with them??? Give them respect, please, also Duane was sick and was singing in a lower key, which made it sound off too.
