The OB peacock cichlid
For many, one of the best peacock cichlids in the hobby
We put the OB Peacock Cichlid under the spotlight
What are your thoughts on this cichlid. It comes in multiple colour patterns and is a true favourite in the hobby.
I haven’t got the greatest opinion of this fish. But I can understand why people do love them so much.

OB Zrock, OB Blueberries, OB Azureus, OB Lwandas are great. Nice color to add. Since they are hybrids and have that mbuna in them, they tend to be more aggressive. Not all of them are but it shouldnt be a surprised if they are.

@@peterboroughkoi6084 They really are a great addition to an African Cichlid tank. And some are absolutely stunning. Have you had any aggression issues with yours? The one I have now is really chilled, but the last 3 before were real assholes.

@@TheFinalTankBoss they really are and no aggression, as they are smaller then my mbuna but my mbuna I go for the more chilled out ones then aggressive like yellow labs and a few others

@@peterboroughkoi6084 yeah most Labs don’t cause any issues in all honesty. They are a really placid Mbuna. I’ve never had any problems whatsoever keeping these.

@@andrewderksen3342 I think maybe I would. I think they are really good looking fish. Some OB displays are incredible. I just feel like I haven’t got the original model when I have them. It’s like loving Game of Thrones but not getting into the spin off series because it’s not the same. It’s the best way I can describe it😂
