This visualization of The Octopus Project's song Wet Gold finds our trio of Octo-men stranded at sea in a singing boat while a lady ashore signals distress in semaphore. The music video was filmed in Galveston, TX, and directed by the Zellner Bros, who also directed The Octopus Project's "Truck" video previously.
Wet Gold is the first track on The Octopus Project's "Golden Beds" enhanced CD EP released July 28, 2009, on Peek-A-Boo Records.

Saw them in Houston opening for Devo. First time ever hearing of them , and i was blown away. fantastic!! The bass (low end) was killer that night .

I was there as well!! Was in the front row with my dad. You can find the picture of the audience in the Houston Chronicle! I have it and you can see everyone including me!

I took my kids to see the these guys in Oct. 2011 at Club Red in Austin, Texas. Before you get the wrong ideal, my kids are 21 and 20 and students at UT Austin and were accompanied by me. This by far was the best concert I have ever seen and I am a child of the 70's. I have since purchased 2 of thier albums and will be sure to arrange my next visit to see my kids in Austin around one of thier shows. Love you guys!

This whole video is just perfect. I love the intro with the clapping. Wish that went on longer... Now I want to go the beach and replace all the hermit crabs shells with those color changing ones.
