I really wish they would have kept Andy’s scene. It does his character justice cus he really was a good guy behind the anger issues and being obnoxious
Thought it really sucked that they left it out while going through the dvd extras. Hopefully we’ll get it next year in the last Superfan episodes if not 2024
Erin heartbreakingly having a hand puppet ask for confirmation that there wasn’t anything wrong with her is a pretty perfect encapsulation of her character.
They really should have kept Andy‘s speech in the episode it is so heartwarming and shows his kind character. Also Angelas talking head is so adorable it makes her more likeable.
@@matachi1040 The sentiment is similar to Andy's "I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days, before you've left them." So they probably made the choice to keep Andy's. Pete's is a great line, though.
Yeah good thing they kept Andy's nostalgic line instead. Pete is fairly newish and his words don't hold much weight because he can continue making new memories in the office whereas Andy has done his due in that place and left it for a brighter future. There is this sadness to him knowing that there will be no more new memories with the og crew. Andy looking back with longing matches the audience sentiment more. Also I can care less about plop.
I know Steve didn't want to appear in the final scenes with the gang in the office because he wasn't on the show anymore and thought it would take away from their last moment, but man those reminiscing scenes would've been fun with him there. I envision a mixture of old Michael Scott w/ a few TWSS moments but also a newfound maturity in discussing fatherhood and his relationship with Holly to show his character grew also. And yes, 100% agree that Andy's speech should have stayed in. "Be Dwight Schrute" was the best line of that whole deleted scenes compilation.
I’m glad Clark found someone and Erin found her parents. That Darryl and Val made it work and Andy’s character got justice after his anger issue came back he became really selfish. I was hopping there’s be a few deleted scenes with Michael seeing his old friends cause he had 2 lines and about 5 scenes
In the plant scene, it would have been very funny if they cutted for Creed saying: "I dont understand why they were planting a plastic plant on the ground, but I just followed with them"
@@jacobh674 Good point. I was thinking it was going to turn out to be plastic, but now I remember Michael noticing it was drying up when Dwight was gone.
@@jahleelkeesee6090 It seems that they keep adding more deleted scenes to the Superfan episodes already released, so just when you think you’ve seen all the goodies in a specific episode, they still slip in yet another scene. Twenty years from now they may still be adding to the Superfan edition.
its weird because the office on netflix br has more scenes than prime video, and some of them aren't in this video, and some of this videos arent on netflix our prime video, it makes me wonder how many deleted scenes there are, also there is the matrix one
@@beepboop69420 that is very true, like when she apologises to Phyllis whom then carries her to the altar, or when she moved in with Oscar, both Dwight and Angela talked many times their distaste in gays, Yet, they made him a Godfather❤️🩹
That Canada joke is probably one of the best one liner jokes of the show. And that moment with Andy was genuinely beautiful and would've been awesome to see for his character. Wish they kept some of these moments in.
This was a roller coaster of scenes that all make so much sense to me as a major office fan. I wish they all could've been in the finale. Thank you for sharing.
The deleted scenes (not just here, but other ones throughout the show) add so much. The thing I didn't like about Andy was how they kept changing his character. These scenes of Andy kind of make up for that, and depict it all as various ways he tried to be, that he screwed up, but learned from and became a better person from all of them.
Aww I would have wanted to see deleted scenes of Michael in the finale. After he departed in end of S7, and made reappearance, it made me feel like I forgot who Mike Scott truly was. A funny and upright boss.
@@justincoleman3805 Not so sure that’s true, in terms of the show getting better. Michael Scott was, and will forever be, the Office. He’s easily the most iconic character from the series and he was prevalent in all of the greatest Office episodes.
he’s gonna do something stupid and be Micheal its like kelly once said “ why cant you let enjoy things “ or something like that And they became closer after he left
You’d forget that the actor of Cliff Main from Better Call Saul is in this show as Erin’s dad. Whole lot of Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul cameos or guest stars
Yes, I feel the same. He was a dick. But if you think about it, everyone of them did or said something not totally moral... Stanley cheats his wife Phyllis cheats... Her diet, and thinks that woman can't be leaders. Also she talked shit about the office administrator of Vance Refrigeration because her husband was on a wheelchair. Angela tried to break the knees of Oscar, cheated Andy... Jim lets Michael fall in the koi pond, he constantly flirts with a woman engaged with a man who loves her and really wants to merrry her, Dwight betrayed Michael, he really thinks women are a weak gender, killed Angela's cat (and I'm pretty sure he kills a lots of pets, he said he shooted a warewolf who transformed into his neighbor's dog), he wanted to get fire Jim for stupid reasons a lot of times, even when he was having a baby with Pam and really needed to have a job to feed a baby... Andy CELEBRATED a branch closed, and lot of peoples lost their jobs! But when all was reverted, he was so sad and made some stupid hats... He was responsible of Michael firing Dwight, because he saved Angela's job. Meredith don't give a f*ck about her daughter, and thinks his son is not "the good one". Toby is a convicted rapist... Ryan, we all know he's shit. But I think he deserves the scene when his mom dropped him at DM and David Wallace yells to him, and he crys. He is a totally douche, they didn't wanted us to empathize with him. But then they let the scene of Jim and Pam crying about his poem about Kelly, and he being on a raft in the middle of the ocean... Kelly almost destroyed Jim's and Dwight's career with false shit because of her party and cups... Michael wanted Dwight to get fire when he did the Wonka Tickets idea, he talked shit about Jim with Wallace, about how he was a "big bird", only because he was afraid to lose his job. He can't stop making fun of people with obesity (same with Dwight) Creed, I'm pretty sure he killed a lot of animals, like pets, people, and even kids... Pam is kinda pure, but she was jealous of girls who flirted with Jim, and she was with Roy... David Wallace get fired and everyone in the same phone call start celebrate!!!! (They have their jobs, fck Wallace, who cares... When Michael and Holly let the office be robbed, Wallace gives money and gives for a few days his house in the beach, I think... But, who cares). All of them have a dick inside (that's what she said). But they reverted that with time, experiences and friendship. Don't let that ruins Clark to you. That plot was just to show how much Pete Plop (who is always taking a Packer) cared about Kelly (the other Kelly) since the beginning. Think about this: Michael wants to go to Jamaica with Carol, and he's sooo happy, he even shows riding a bike to give to a poor kid. Then in the 7th season (I think) Oscar let's him use his bike.... And then he can't? Wtf? Remember when Kelly talked shit about Glee because they don't pick a line? I don't know why I write this much. Nobody cares, sorry
@@UnCuervoEnMedicina The reason we are mad at "Plop" is that we loved Andy who joined from season 3 and showed multiple characters. Yes, everyone has their dark side, which is actually the whole point of this series, but still we all root for Andy who we think we know better. Plop is still a stranger to office fans. And we are gonna keep calling him Plop since we owe that much to Andy :)
I've watched the office like 4 times. And now that I see these scenes even if they don't included them in the final cut, this is like fresh air for me. Make me want to watch the office for fifth time.
It's possible he either refused, or they couldn't afford him for more than 2 lines. Also, his appearance was a surprise even to most of the cast. There is a video of the table read, and there is no appearance of Michael. Creed had the line, "It's as if all my kids grew up and married each other. It's every person's dream," at the table read.
@@cking613 Did they even try to bring back Michael? It's like they were fine ending the series without him and there's even a line Dwight says claiming Jim was the best man at his wedding. It was Michael, no? Can't believe they kept that part. Steve Carell actually wanted to let the other cast members have more spotlight which is why he isn't in the last few scenes. At least we got the ending shot of Michael putting up Pam's painting. That was a good compensation.
Tbh the part about erin not knowing her parents was like only mentioned in 1 or 2 scenes before the finale so it really didn’t deserve much screentime, however wholesome it was, at least compared to other stuff imo
@@colinleighton8295 I agree it wasn't a character-defining arc - like, it wasn't the only thing we knew about Erin - but Erin's growing up in an orphanage came up in Secretary's Day (season 6), and Michael continued to play a father figure type role, as in Viewing Party (season 7). A b-plot of Goodbye Michael (season 7) was about how Phyllis might be Erin's mom. Again, it wasn't the focus of Erin's character, but I thought the resolve in the finale was a nice payoff.
The biggest issue I have with this show is how they just completely ruined the character of Andy and with it, his and Erin's relationship. Beyond that great great show.
They always had a very horrible relationship. Andy always very abusive to Erin treating her like dirt and this was before Season 9 this was around the time of Michael Scott He ended up getting her attacked by birds because he was too stupid to realize oh yeah Wild birds aren't pets What a crazy idea! He gets himself fired because he was so terrible in bed and thst was the only way he could get excited in bed Erin literally throws herself at him again and agisn and agisn and again and again and again and again season after season after season and he treats her like crap Erin molded herself entirely after Andy desperate to please him ans get his love but he only ever treated her like dirt His justification of oh she went for Gabe! ENOUGH She only went for Gabe because Andy literally told her to go for Gabe and she would do anything for Andy She literally says she wouldn't have dated Gabe were it not for him being her boss and because Andy told her to She got mad at Andy once because of feeling super jealous and she would end up repenting that for multiple seasons desperate to win him over and he kept refusing again and again as he cared more about his job or revenge or an emotionless blank piece of wood with all the charm abd personality of a rock
@y6tre yes That's how hr was introduced As the biggest college frat boy dousche in existence who was tremendously intimidated by any bigger stronger men Like the whole saying of puffing your chest out trying to be tough but getting very intimidated and afraid the second someone calls out your bluff. That's who Andy was And he would love to take advantage and prey on anyone weaker and more cowardly then him including Nellie. Erin and thinking Angela was weak and easy to take control of
@roluevasreisa5730 He had a lot of character growth. It was unfortunate that he was written with so many obvious flaws. Jim had flaws as well, but he was mostly the main lead so they wrote his character well enough.
I’m glad they took out the scene where they talked about who has worked there the longest. When Jo said that the person with the most seniority should be interim manager, it was Creed!
I'm glad they left out some of these, like the Clark/Dakota romance wasn't necessary to wrap things up. But others like Andy's speech or some of Clark and Pete's talking heads should definetly have been included.
I kind of feel bad for the actress, though. Imagine getting the opportunity to be on the final episode of one of the most successful shows ever made and your scenes don’t make Final Cut.
I really wish this show hadn't evolved so much into being about Jim and Pam after Michael left. It was always about Jim, Pam, Michael, and Dwight, but without Michael, and with Dwight becoming more and more "normal" over time, it just became a Friends-like comedy after a while.
And there is the reason why Scranton branch is the #1 branch. Cause inside the workplace they're not just employees but they're also family. Or at least friends instead of coworker.
Man I hope they make an office later years with plop and everyone, the scene with Dwight jr and the blonde girl is genuinely really funny and her character was only seen in the scene with the kelevin
