That would imply a grudge which would be a conflict of interest. Instead, bro followed protocol and showed him the proper way to respond in that situation.
@@mr.minced7068 After everything, you still see the driver at fault, how ?? He said he was not speeding nor was the car reported stolen. I guess we live in 2 different worlds, where common sense doesn't reside in yours.
I think the best part of this is seeing that little bit of hesitation in me kid's eyes when he has to look over at the senior cop who arranged the whole ordeal. Could have easily just told the rookie that they caught the older cop in a DUI but seeing as how there were almost three whole other officers involved, the need to call a rookie to pay back that bad cop just showed the solidarity in good cops i wish i could believe in for the real world
Just watch some videos and you will most cops are like this they aren’t bad they aren’t racist they just have a hard job to do and get hated on for it I’ve seen videos of cops doing things no human should have to then they go home and have to live with that on a daily basis that isn’t something people can just do without it taking a tole there’s a lot of good cops I mean I saw one body cam vid of a normal officers pulling her Sargent away from a suspect who was in cuffs and being punched by the Sargent tje Sargent then grabbed the deputy by her throat and threatened her all caught on body cam all sent to the judge and got that officer screwed he’s in jail now but not for that he got done for domestic assault charges a year or 2 after being fired
@@andyleeds202I think the problem is we allow there to be mistakes because their job is hard but there are clear incompetencies shown by some officers which makes you question the entire process. Let me explain, if you have a teacher that sometimes hits their kids they are responsible for should we allow that since she has a stressful job with kids? What about only 5% of teachers hit kids but look, there are many that don’t? They just can’t control their anger but not everyone does it so it’s okay to keep them teaching? We do not have a lot of people who want to teach anyway so we should consider our kids lucky and keep them in a unsupervised teaching environment…Or do we not tolerate this behavior and it is immediately unacceptable? What about a surgeon that sometimes cuts off the wrong limb showing negligence? What about a delivery driver that gets the wrong house? What about….and we can go on and on. The issue there qualified immunity has allowed many people who are ignorant of the law uphold it, break it, then get off scot-free while the tax payer foot the bill if it does go anywhere. Worst case senario it’s a slap on the wrist with paid/unpaid suspensions and if they do loose their job they are back on the gourde in the next county, city, or state. The issue is we can’t have any of these individuals become cops yet they do. Cops can’t break the law or be ignorant of the law (which btw we as citizen are told in court the ignorance of the law is no excuse but why do cops get that right? Why can cops lie on record her hold weight when it comes to their testimony?). We have cops that go to the wrong house, abuse their power, etc. Are there good cops? Sure, but the issue is there are bad cops and we can’t just ignore that problem. We have to fix it and moving our attention to the good while ignoring the bad is not the solution. Many people are black the blue even when they’ve done something wrong. It could be that person is rotted to the core and is racist so it just tickles them or they are dumb and think cops can do no wrong until something happens to them or their family.
@@andyleeds202having a hard job doesn't excuse it. Don't be in the career. We had a conversation about this in Law and Society. After a point, you can't use that excuse anymore
I think the majority of cops are unfit for the job/ improperly educated and trained/ just horrible people. I have seen so many videos of cops doing really messed up crap, I can almost garuntee what's online is just a small percentage of the misconduct that's going on. Most probably goes unreported and unrecorded, its very common for cops to cover there body cam or just shut if off to avoid incriminating themselves and bot everyone thinks to start recording on thier phone. There was even a headline article in my local newspaper a year or 2 ago about how all throughout my state cops where sweeping complaints under the rug, I've even seen numerous videos online where people went into a police station to try to report misconduct only to get the runaround/ be stonewalled at every turn.
@BerthaLynn7 reality is even worse than fiction lol . i worked in an otsource from Nordstrom and a customer send several emails to remover latín and black people from Nordstrom publicity
In the end of this clip, why is the wife saying anything at all? She's not a police officer. I think just like the military. The wife wearing the husband's rank and the husband wearing the wife's rank.
Sort of like how the black officer should’ve known better to stay in his car. Typical liberal Hollywood crap. God I can’t believe morons actually buy this crap.
And as a cop rookie or not, he would know not to get into a cops face. And you don’t get out of the car until they tell you and aggressively approach them, even though that cop was a jerk. It’s better to get the ticket and bite it.
Actually theres cases where judges may give a lighter sentence to a cop that was intoxicated while driving as long as they have no priors or any outstanding accusations then most of the time off duty cops are given less time
@@tarragoni4161that’s doesn’t mean they should be allowed to go though you get that right judges being pro cop doesn’t mean cops are now above the law it means we should be harder on judges as they should be objective truth finders in a world where it is very hard to find the truth
I said a sip one time. I was actually telling the truth too. I was getting a beer for a girl at a party. It was from a keg and it overflowed a little bit and started spilling on my hands.
Not true I was 18 and got pulled over. I said I had one beer and had another un opened. Thankfully I was parked right in front of my house and the cop let me go.
What krishna said it's true dude. You don't need to be a genius to know that. Officer Will still find out if you were drinking and if It was one beer or ten.

We HAD an officer like that in our town. He pulled me over once when I was with my daughters and asked if I had any drugs or alcohol that day. I told him, “I don’t touch that stuff, I got kids” he replied, “oh, so you do it when they’re not around then.” I corrected him on his assumption and he let me go with a warning. 8yrs later that officer was removed from our town for putting a person in the hospital. I believe they were cuffed at the time when he assaulted them
He did. That's when à real one would say, wait, a real one wouldn't have pulled him over in the 1st place. So if you wanna play the who was wrong 1st, thats that. Anyway, a real one would've said, look here, can you at least chill and let me try to verify your story? Idk what show this is or what the full clip is, but for this, that's pretty much the jist of it. Kid was pulled over for what we call DWB, which is a violation of the 4th Amendment, called the cop out on it, and the older cop wasn't having it.
@@scoobsshrooms109 they can. And in America, a judge will toss it if there’s no probable cause. If a cop shows a trend of it, they’ll be retrained or fired. In this video, the cop had no probable cause. His logic is nice car + young black male = car is stolen. That doesn’t fit the criteria for probable cause. That means the cop broke the law by stopping him. It’s call unlawful arrest in most states. Since the cop committed that crime because the guy was black, that’s police discrimination based on race. In some states, that’s a crime too. So yea, a cop can, but it’s not always lawful, and if they are caught doing it enough by the right people, they won’t be a cop in that dept for long.
That’s an interesting saying. I have never heard of that one… Does this saying apply to more than just a coward with power? Cause if the rabbit had a gun in The Tortoise and The Hare, I think the rabbit would have won.
The fact that the other officers were just standing around implies that they were waiting specifically for Officer Bentley to show up to do the breathalyzer. Poetic justice.
The cop reached out first and the kid said get off me so that means the cop jumped in his face. And the white cop would've wanted mercy if it Was the other way around
WOW so there in lays the problem. Instead of looking at the reason why this cop pulled the black guy over and criticizing him about the expensive car and if he stole it. You’re still willing to jump on the COP side and say that the black kid was out of control. This is why we are having a hard time with police reform because of people like you!
@@baccountable7968 Thing is, look where they went into contact. At the cops car. After cop told him to stay in his vehicle. You can point the things that white cop did wrong all day, but it is dishonest to close eyes over all the wrong things that the black kid did too. He tried to pull the "Hey, I am cop too so give me a break" card. He was breaking law by driving without registration/id. He ignored order to stay in car. He then went straight towards to officer to angrily complain to his face like a natural born Karen, including moving his hand and pushing his finger into the officers chest. At every point, the black kid, who is supposed to be cop too, did everything to escalate the situation. Only at the end did the white cop escalate even further. Honestly, both are disgraces to the uniform if this is how they behave.
@Medic3039 shouldn't have driven without his licence. Also, getting out of the car was a terrible decision, the officer told him to stay in the vehicle. The fact that he's driving a 100k car and has no identification sounds very sketchy.
There is some BIG difference between disregarding the command of a police officer while you cannot identify yourself, getting out of your car and agressively gesturing towards said officer compared to sitting in your car saying "hey I just had one beer, is this necessary?" i do agree that the did you steal it line is over the line, but if he looked up the vehicle and saw a non black person on the license then it could be a reasonable assumption after saying he doesn't have an ID.
As a cop ( the black gentleman in the car I mean, I’m not a cop) the point he was making was that it was an illegal stop in the first place. That’s what’s flying over everyone’s head
That is completely irrelevant and doesn't give someone the right to get out of their car and put their hands on the cop You weren't an illegal stop you obey what he says. Most things that aren't unconstitutional Such as give him your license, your badge or whatever and tell them your full name. If you don't have it, they could look it up The situation would have been solved when he went back to this car. Looked up this black guy's name and saw that he's a cop Pretty sure the car wasn't registered to his name either

@@kailordthemcIf the guy was white and still chooses to exit the car after being told not to, the cop will have the same reaction. You're such a professional victim.
Not even the point. The issue is why each one was pulled over. The first was a pretext stop. That is when a police officer sees something they don't like, a black man in a expensive car or that shithead you hated from high school, and they invent a pretext to stop and search the vehicle. This is different then a stop where you can establish a clear and present danger, like someone swerving on the road due to driving while intoxicated or shooting through a neighborhood at 60 miles an hour.
