We started off shaky in the last game. Also,I believe we could of won the game.If it wasn't for that suspect penalty. That being said. You guys showed fight to come back and draw the game.I'm wishing all the best to the Soca Warriors in today's game against Bahamas. You guys got this💪🇹🇹🔥
Disappointing result...Penalty was VERY harsh IMHO, but with our quality and playing at home we could and should have played much better...Angus, I don't buy the excuse that the prep time was too short, it's not as though the 11 players who started never played with each other before, hell the back 4 bar Gomez for Jones is the same that has started in our most recent games...When Levi came off injured why not bring on Shaw or Showtime??? Instead we got Alvin Jones, keeping on Gomez...we needed goals, so that was a wasted sub imho. Do you remember when T&T played Sweden in the World Cup and went a Man down after Avery John got red-Carded, what did Beenhakker do? he brought on Cornell Glen, a STRIKER, and NOT a defender...A point to Angus, by your own post-match comments you say we keep conceding goals yet you insist on the "Pragmatic" approach, yet, the ONE time T&T played more attacking and less pragmatic under you we beat USA at home, so to say we do not have the players to play more on the front foot is ridiculous imho. I would also like to make yet another request that Justin Araujo-Wilson be given a call-up, as he is playing and scoring in Europe and imho the team does not have a big powerful #9, so he at least gives us the option to have a post-up striker, a role he has played at Youth level for T&T in the past, and is currently doing the same for his club...Angus Eve, as T&T's most capped player, you have my undying respect, in fact, I have always maintained for your yeoman service you deserved to have been selected in the final squad to go to the 2006 World Cup, hell, had you not scored that free-kick vs St Vincent at the Hasley Crawford, we might not have even made the final round!!! However, as Head Coach it's becoming increasingly clear you do not have what it takes to produce the consistent results required to take us to WC2026...that being said while you remain in the post I will continue to support, so good luck to you and the team vs the Bahamas today!!! I will be watching and cheering on from home!!!
To be honest trinidad and tobago national football team....should be ranking first in our region....come on our nation need to come together our footballers have alot of potential to reach places
It’s a hard luck game, it happens to the best teams in the world, look brazil just lost to England and Columbia just dogged the usa, so it happens, plus grenada played with english born players in their second division English league, so they were no push overs as we would like to think. Better luck next time.
We need to change our mentality. The coach is the right coach. The players are the right players. But we need to be killers. Cold blooded killers. We need to rise as a nation and show our true level, true spirit.
