In my most humble opinion I’ve geared 4 dragons 4 different ways and do the same damage on all of them I think it’s purely a preference thing when it comes to devastation evoker, other classes I think you want to follow a template with dev I feel like it’s preferences what’s your thoughts?
@@Disintegon Yeah agreed, f.e. I love having haste, so I'll sacrifice some mastery & vers for that and I'm pretty sure I'll still pump hard. Luckily we are in a state when secondary stats can be flexed quite a bit and remain competitive. Nice video btw!
No problem put a lot of effort into this one! My transmog is the full set of the evoker war within conquest gear, i have 4 evokers so i bought a different piece on all of them just so i can complete the set lol
@@gilbertsolimanminutti9827 in todays meta only resto druids and u barley see any of those. In the past you would use purge on many things like rsham/pres/disc /mage/boomy but now a days there are too many auras to make it worth it
@@imisleek yea the crafting staff is still 100% bis however with that change you mentioned you probably don’t need to rush crafting the staff, if you want to be bis early on I would say go with the week 3 weapon and once ur full geared craft the weapon as it’ll be better late season especially once conquest is uncapped
yeah man, Gimmicky is the exact word for flameshaper, unfortunately. Simple, to make flameshaper work, you got to waste a bit of time on the proper setup, otherwise there's no damage coming at all , it's a previous expansion devoker's kit we'd play. In comparison, a simple reinforced spell> disintegrate is already a huge dps on the scalecommander + the various effects on our defensive/cc CDs which you explained. Everything has insanely good synergy with the devoker base gameplay. I hate that it's the "meta" spec because I'm a flame guy at heart, but there's no arguing that scale is the only viable heroic tree for devastation right now. But maybe if we get a way to reduce engulf CD in a similar fashion...
@@litchi408 very intelligent and mature response! It’s just the reality of the game I’m sure one of these patches of tww flameshaper will eventually become the meta once blizzard figures out how to rework it

@@Disintegon Thanks for your reply! I did figure out what the issue was. In order for me to get the same maneuverability, I had to make sure I was holding down the right-click mouse button at the same time. I was just relying on the keys to zig and zag. Silly mistake, but I'm glad I got it figured out, thank you!
@@Disintegon how is it horrible? every r1 player on ladder playing evoker is playing star from what i see both eu and na so wheres the disconnect here? swapxy is the highest rated devoker in the world atm i believe and he plays shattering star build and that guys been r1 since arena came out so i assume he knows how to talent his chars it seems a bit odd to say this build is better than what everyone at the top of the ladder obviously thinks is best..
@@jenniferwilson9056 there’s a few disconnects… 1. people have tried it which is why i made this video 2. You can’t compare NA and EU rating as EU is extremely inflated rn. 3. Not discrediting swapzxy as he is an insane player, but you can play either build to a high rating as mentioned in my video my build is probably better in all situations that are not 3v3 with dk. 4. I’m sitting #5 on NA with half the games played of the 4 above me, when I have the time I’ll be moving up in cr. 5. Watch my last video where I was beating all the r1 devs on NA + thy top dev on NA, who is only 4cr away from swapzxy, while eu is 200 mmr inflated… my build did double his damage as well and killing his teams in the openers… the evidence is there 6. Watch my theorycrafting video showing that this build does way more damage I have also simulated this with website you can find online my build comes out superior every time :) purpose of this video was to bring awareness and share my knowledge to people who are willing to learn and challenge the meta :) just because a build is meta doesn’t necessarily mean it is the best build that has been the case since the beginning of wow.
Im pretty much running the same talents every single game, shroud , nully , aura mastery however if there is ever a rdruid i swap one of those out for purge and if there is set up comps in arena like fmp/rmp/jungle i run timestop. Pretty much how ive been using my talents in blitz and arena
so the first time you cast disintegrate there will only be 4 ticks of damage, when you chain it with the next cast of disintegrate it puts the 4th tick of damage into the next cast of disintegrate so your second disintegrate will have 5 ticks of damage because it is putting the last one from the first cast in there plus the 4 normal ticks it has. Hopefully i explained it better here! I know it can be confusing
@@dilididli2274 ideally you hover in twice so you can get value out of them send your dam and it gets reset after your db getting your dam out early is worth because you will always be ahead for the rest of the game so much value
@@dominicteribery9464 2v2 probably rdru or disc if u want to double deeps feral/rogue and 3v3 hunter dev disc/press or dk unh healer or rogue dev healer either comp can work. I have two yt videos where I display how im around 2150-2200 this season in R1 ranges for dev on 3v3 ladder playing hunter dev disc and or pres the comp is insane highly recommend you check them out!
the tip to use deep breath doesn´t work, any suggestion? I´ve verified the keybindings to be the same and still works as it´s moved like the cursor... thanks

brooooo renewing blaze is such an ass cooldown you can be at 100% press it and it heals back nothing i feel ur pain i think this may change with the 11.0.5 video updates i have a video posted about this where blizzard is removing the negative and positive effects on renewing blaze which means it will no longer be effected by mortal strike and hopefully make our blaze feel better
@@StevenNeidlein mehhhh not really dev does really well in bgs and slams team fights I almost never die in bg blitz but in arenas it’s a different story
@@StevenNeidlein practice is key, people love to say evoker is a easy class to play until they play it and experience what your saying, evoker is an extremely squishy class if not played properly, know when to use your hovers, and defensives rescues , verdant embraces, cauterizing flames etc this is what keeps you alive. If you aren’t kiting to your best ability you will get destroyed
