I'm from Portugal but I leaved my club in Portugal too be an Everton fan! I just love this club and I am an Evertonian and I'm always going to be an Evertonian! I love England and I love Everton💙 UTFT💙
Everton are the most unlucky club in English football every time they have won the league and formed an excellent team and are about to kick on and progress as all good teams have done in football history sheer bad luck has hindered them
Everton suffered from the European ban on English clubs more than any other IMO. It coincided with Souness coming to Rangers and bringing the likes of Woods, Butcher, Roberts, Stevens, Steven up north. Was a great time to be a Rangers fan I should add... Then Walter and Archie went to Everton. Bringing in the likes of Gazza, Goughie, Cleland. Rideout was with us too. Big Dunc....Myhre on loan. Ball, Weir, Jeffers, Simonsen and Kanchelskis....It's a blue thing. 🙂.
I am a Spurs supporter but I do have a soft spot for Everton. A good Everton team is a joy to watch just like my Spurs. They are not a lucky team and deserve better.
Fell in love with Everton because win, lose, or draw, they'd give you everything they had. I've always liked Spurs because win, lose, or draw, they're always fun to watch.
Chelsea supporter.but love Everton.great club.dixie Dean Alex Young. Golden vision.harvey ball kendal. Bob Latchford. Etc.kendells great team of the eighties.great team. Joe royals teams. David moyes teams.etc. got alot of time for the toffees. Goodisen Park great stadium.
Thanks for what you've said there Steph. Unfortunately, since the release of this video, we haven't really achieved a great deal since, just a shadow of Liverpool for too long. The F.A. Cup in 95 was a nice one though, and I think I recall you winning it two years later against Middlesbrough. What a goal from Roberto Di Matteo.
@@31cify HOPEFULLY ELLA EVERTON CAN NOW GO FORWARD WITH YOUR NEW MANAGER SEAN DYCHE. AND THE NEW STADIUM LOOKS FANTATASTIC. BUT HI STILL LOVE GOODISON PARK...
Absolutely amazing and beautiful to see the great history of my beloved Everton see the great film absolutely amazing and it is made cry knowing we are leaving the greatest Stadium the old lady Goodison Park it will be a sad day when it happens I only hope there will be a memorial put where Goodison Park stands because it should never be forgotten Everton is the best and Thank You Everton and Thank You so much for great video 💙💙💙
I am Italian, too but support AC Milan. Still Everton have bene my favourite English side since the glorious years of Gary Lineker, Peter Reid, Trevor Stephen and all those great players
I'm a Liverpool fan but I'm a sucker for heritage/tradition/nostalgia. Everton is the true family club with a family soul, more than the corporate LFC. It would be great for you to maintain it but for your long term survival I hope you get the investment you need to maintain your historically elite position, and that the new stadium will breathe new life into the club. It's good for LFC too (though I'll probably eat my words whenever you get a billionaire and the city becomes blue like down the M62). To be honest it's a victory that you've maintained this position for so long without all the advantages that the G14 clubs have.
This makes me so sad. I've been a Toffee for more than 30 years. The state of our club now means that even a fraction of the glory in this video is a fantasy. I hope I'm wrong!
I had the 1985 FA Cup final song on 7in too. Southall, Stevens, Bailey/Van Den Hauwe, Ratcliffe, Mountfield, Reid, Steven, Gray/Lineker, Sharp, Bracewell, Sheedy.....Back up from Harper, Heath, Richardson and Mimms.... Saw Stevens, Steven and Gray at Rangers....saw Andy Gray in pub one night too with Frank McClintock.
I'm portuguese with an affection for Everton and I want to ask if there is really no chance at all to reform Goodison Park, the club's home for almost a century and a half? I also want to wish Everton to stay in the premier league and can build a team that assures at least a middle table finish but also aiming for an european spot. By the way, Everton was not allowed to play at least two champions league in the 80's because Liverpool hooligans decided to attack the Italian fans for no apparent reason and so murdering 39 of them. Instead of punishing the criminals they vetoed all the english teams from european football thanks to Mrs Thatcher.
Your historical analysis is immaculate Rodrigo. In terms of developing Goodison, the ground is surrounded by terraced housing which makes expanding the footprint problematic. This is why the club has been looking for alternative ground sites for over 30 years. Culminating in the Bramley Moore Dock site
@@andywatson2324 Andy, thanks a lot for your reply. In the eighties english football was always in the later stages of the European Cup and if Aston Villa did it - with due respect - Everton could also do it and they won the Premier twice! As for Goodison Park it is a shame to let go of it and it would be perfect to raise the stands higher thus increasing the public capacity if it is a viable solution.
Rodrigo... i know what happened back that day about liverpool fans, myself been 14 years old. Everton won league, cup winners cup on 15 May 85, but 2 weeks later 29 may before game (liv. - juve) at noon time The both teams fans clashed eachother already... but the main reason the clash turned that mad there been a boy 11 old killed of liverpool fans by italian fans. The rest whole world knows what was happened.
Be weird Pool having no local Derby; Ulot had Anfield 1st, didn't realise that. Dixie Dean hey, 1 of the gr8test ever t put the boots on. Wish u cud swap places with Godfathers of Corruption, Richy. Ull get through this, it may not seem like it at mo but u will.Did u have Graeme Sharpe cos I thought he was class.Keep fighting t the end cos u can still escape the drop, just keep believing that you can do it.
Thanks mate but we aren't going anywhere, we will always be in the top division as that's all we know, did you know we were the lst team to win the league at Anfield not the reds,as far as no local derby?why as we have just beaten your lot with a shite team!check us out in a few years when we are hopefully run properly .
@@malthusXIII-fo3ep Yes, Kendall's first batch of signings were more miss than hit. But in the next couple of years, he got Mountfield, Reid, Gray, Sheedy, Steven etc and they worked out nicely
@@TrevorSteven we had aready won more league titles than you by 65/66 and then finally won the FA Cup. The rest as they say is history. You were formed first but second to us in everything since then.
@@Paul-xu7ve Never set out to murder people on match day though. And never used Rachman tactics to force people out of their homes when destroying a suburb needed for your expansion. Bad club, Bad people.....
