I like Zero in solo queue for the same reason Iana is good in solo queue. He provides a lot of personal intel, but unlike Iana, that intel can be used for other players. Once Iana dies, the intel is gone. With Zero, his usefulness scales with dead players. More dead people = more people to watch his cams. As for utility to play off the intel, the hard breach charge is more than enough. Take Chalet basement for example. While your team is hitting main wall, you can flank and use the sound of the breach to cover the sound of your cameras. A lot of people play around Wine Pillar/Connector/Rotate, so you use your cams to check who's there and hard breach Boiler wall to either force them to swing your team and die, swing you and die, or sit still and get pushed. Zero is also really effective at creating chaos. He can destroy Mira windows, detonate Goyo canisters, and annoy defenders, on top of destroying most gadgets. All of these things can trap defenders in corners, prevent rotates, force people to move from powerful positions, and open up push lines for teammates. All of that is only his gadget, that doesn't even account for the fact that he has the second highest DPS weapon on attack, being only a couple hundred damage lower than the F2 with very light recoil, a 1.5x and 2x, an MP7 with a 1.5, a Gonne-6 for destruction, and he's a three speed. Zero has almost no negatives.

they should just make it so that nokk's ability lets her pass through kapkan or aruni gadgets unnoticed/undamaged. Maybe even temporary vision through unbroken mira shield

Ayo zero c-tier? He has THE BEST gun in the game, ton of flexible info-gathering(flank cams, site info, whatever tbh), has HARDBREACH and gonne, so he can clear utility too. He's the Jack of all trades in siege.

*Rook ist S-Tier* His Win Delta is +3% since release. He gives 5x20HP, so basically adding a 6t player in you Healthpool. The self revive is a gimmick at best but his real winpotential are the gunfights your dumb teammate won with 12HP remaining. Pair him with Doc as Fragger instead of Warden to unlock a massiv +7% Win Delta.

I play oryx as my main, gotta say still hands down the best roamer operator. The reason for this is his ability, he can cover insane amounts of ground very quickly. Get a callout from a teammate, or see someone on cam, you can be behind them 20-30 seconds faster than any other operator by just barreling through walls. Full on destructive capabilities for site setup, motion sensors for finding out where the attackers are coming in from, hes completely slept on as he does everything lesion usually does but is also FAST across the map, can negate unsupported shields (70% of the time) and has a dash to get out of bad or pinned positions. Yeah no oryx still is one of the A-S tier ops imo

Bro twitch is A. Her drones are way more silent than Brava or Flores. Drones are so important, and even if you don’t use the lasers you still have 4 drones. The only things that hold her back from s tier for me are the recoil on her gun and no soft destruction. But she is great for dealing with fenrir, lesion, Kaid, bandit, thorn, Jager, Kaplan, Mira. She can even sometimes get around mute and mozzie and destroy their utility.

Aint no way that Zero is c tier, his gun by itself is no less than b-tier.

When I play castle and make setups. I always follow 3 rules. Does it force the attackers to waste utility? Can I play off site solo and waste time for attackers. Does it give me a crazy long angle to hold? And 9/10 attackers end up using utility to destroy the setup. Which keeps my teammates gadgets up.

I respect pox opinion but cmon Fuze and capitao are soo underrated it makes me crazy, Fuze has op weapons, great gadgets and his ability apart from the fact that can kill anyone, he also destroys all utility, shields, jammers, wire and azami shield which is great since she's one of the best defenders. he's just misunderstood. capitao has all the best gadgets, best lmg in the game imo, his ability is top tier if playing tactical. both criminally underrated

I can't disagree about amaru being c-tier but I do disagree about the play style. I main amaru but I never blast into site. I actually hate it when I see people doing that. I use her for quick in-and-outs. Get in, hard breach to open reinforced walls or hatches, make new lines of sight, get out. Rinse, repeat elsewhere. It's so effective at creating pressure. Then if my team is causing enough chaos that I can zip into site and take advantage I will. I think she's great for that. Using her for the all-or-nothing approach is a terrible play style

I honestly think if they gave nokk her silence walking again then she would be A tier, especially in the tiers below emerald considering most players won’t expect her if she’s silent and fully hidden from cams, removing the ability to cook grenades also ruined her.

How is Valk not S? Primary = A- Good gun but no 1.5x but still very easy to use Secondary A+ Can make feet head holes for the team while also being a super high damaging pistol. Gadget A+ Goes super well with utility where you can flip on cams and then throw C4. Also is just very lethal. Ability A++ Sure IQ is a counter but not many people even run her and in ranks below Diamond usually have a hard time spotting them. I can get high ranked champ where shes just A or B but for most players 100% S

Nokk on f is a Crime, i still use her and it’s still good just depends on how you approach, it’s more slow and methodical now but still can outflank your opponents and control the map well

Zero in C tier is crazy considering he has the best primary loadout in the game. (Best AR and the best SMG with a 1.5) Has A gonne-6, hard breaches and is a 3 speed. His cams can be insane if you use them right. C tier is absolutely wild. If Warden is A tier because of his Mpx with a 1.5 then zero should be S tier for having the SC300K and the MP7 with a 1.5 alone.

This oryx ranking is OBJECTIVELY unfair, sure as an oryx main i have a bias but in my opinion you misrepresented his ability. Sure if you want you can bull rush every threat head in and hope they just miss or something but you shouldn't define an operator by their copper 5 gameplay. He has a wholly unique ability to make micro contributions to EVERY team member and strat thry might be attempting. He synergizes with EVERYONE by expediting their prep phase in unique ways. Say your maestro wants to protect his cams, have him vault onto furniture then place them, then you destroy the furniture. Hope they picked brava... Say your mira wants to bait enemies into a planned flank route. Oryx can make the JUICIEST bait paths possible, as oryx you can play in any position on your team and find great success. Wanna roam? Your flanks are elite. wanna anchor? Valk or pulse will turn you into a heat seeking human torpedo. You can provide valuable support with your destruction, you are one of the only chaos defenders out there. You can pull attention from anyboy, or you could just opt to confuse the team with erratic breaching and noise. Oryx can uniquely dictate the terms of an engagement. If you want a firefight you can trigger one, if you dojt yoy can escape it. If you wanna slow the ops you can, if you wanna speed their advance you can. Few ops can force specific behaviors as consistently as oryx, while his contributions will never be massive if played right they will be consistent and plentiful. Id arge oryx to be B tier at LEAST, people are not accurately represnting his abilities.

I agree with you about rook but I still think he deserves higher placement. I'll try to keep it short. Rook isn't valuable because he is good. He is valuable because he is consistent. His gadget requires 0 skill. You place it down, your teammates put it on. Right from the start of the round, rook has provided the team a consistent set of value. That means there is no room for not getting value out of your gadget, as with many other operators. And if you die early, you still have provided the maximum amount of utility your gadget offers. This means that regardless of your teammate's skill level, you can trust them to go rook and provide value to the team no matter how bad they are. As opposed to going an operator where timing and placement matters. It's his CONSISTENCY that gives him such a good win delta. Other operators can definitely outperform him, as they have skill floors and ceilings, but there will always be a myriad of players who use them poorly, dragging down winrates. If I have a rook on my team, I know what I'm in for, and I know what I'm getting.

Why does no one respect Amaru? 3 speed, excellent gun, flash bangs, soft and exlosive destruction in secondaries, can traverse the map fast. But best of all... you pick her on maps where you know you can use her to reach a part of the map no one will be expecting. which will give you 1-2 early kills. if youre getting outplayed, shes well worth taking if you have an exact strategy.

Buck used to make a lot of sense years ago to have a quick, small breach ability. But with Jackal, Gridlock, Amaru, and Ram all having shotguns as secondaries, what is the point of picking him? Wouldn’t you rather have the ability of Buck (with a shotgun to bang walls) PLUS the aforementioned operators’ abilities instead of limiting yourself to Buck’s, if they essentially do the same thing? Genuinely curious with the rationale.

Smoke fmg is pretty underrated imo, 1.5 and a good fire rate, his smokes allow him to take several long range gunfights at once and can dominate and cause chaos for the attackers if you are defending bottom floor and you are sat on top floor on a map like bank The security room has 2-3 good entrances and you can isolate one each time and win your gunfights more
