@@rdmrdm-bf3em feral/marks/rsham and FPS for sure looking very strong. Feral benefits a lot from crit rating and rsham gets totem of wrath which is really strong. Also Spriest/Afflock/RSham looks incredibly strong. Haven’t seen much MLS yet but it looks like it has great potential. Frost Mage and realistically any lock spec, but Aff is strongest followed by Destro with the current tuning
Appreciate it! I’ve been struggling trying to find what to play coming back from a long break. It was either rsham or hpal. Any opinion on one of the either? Picking your brain while I can lol. My brother also plays and he usually plays DK or Moonkin. May get him to try spriest.
@@rdmrdm-bf3em you’re welcome! Both healers are in a similar position, RSham and Hpal wise. Hpal probably does better in Solo Shuffle because it has really strong immunity like cooldowns which help in shuffle where dampening ramps up faster. For normal rated 3v3 the meta is more wizard which rshaman shines brightest into however. As for your brother, truthfully all 3 of those specs are very good right now (Boomy, DK, and Spriest). Don’t think he can go wrong with any of those, but DK and Spriest probably slightly better than Boomy, but Boomy is no slouch that said. Natural synergy among everything we mentioned too. I’d say for you and your bro play your favorite options first because everything you mentioned is actually quite strong right now, and then as more balancing changes come out you could have an alt / fall back option that plays more into the flavor of any future changes that come between now and season start in early September. That’s my approach with my bro too!
Thank you so much for doing this list! It's great to have one of the best players in the world doing tier lists! I also think it's great to see a tier list from people that are not as good, so we can see how the specs are doing at all levels. Not only do these lists help others plays know where they stand, these lists also help Blizzard see how the specs are doing, and helps with balance as a whole.
I've had issues with some of my raiders who are really good at a singular class, but they end up doing fotm. Class mastery I feel like always beats out the Fotm rerollers, but if they enjoy it more power to em. I always like these vids, not for the ranking themselves but rather the perspectives provided from the player.
I think it's sad how many people just play what's top tier rather than what's fun for them. I've been playing this game a long time and the one thing I can say is the amount of fun you're having isn't tied to the rating, raid difficulty, or key level you're playing at.
@daverobert5018 it is nice to know tho. Im going DK cuz the New talents are so cool. Im going frost but when i play pvp ill probably just do unholy if frost keeps getting nerfed
@Monkles301 Cause pvp and pve are two different mode of WoW and needs different stats as well as abilities due different amount of damage in pvp than they do in Pve. Doesn;t take a rocket scientist to figure that out
@@volkanpalut1993 the whole design is all over the place, they introduced mind spike only to make the build complete dog water. You cannot dispel / shield to much or youre oom.
@@nerbuhc Blizz destroyed our util but didn't compensate with mobility or damage. If we're going to be immobile and have to hard cast everything including our burst cooldown (lol) then it should actually be incredibly scary when a SP gets casts off.
I agree with playing a spec you enjoy over picking based on a tier list but damm when the spec or class you love is doing bad and your just doing the most and nothings dieing in a shuffle and your damage is just negligible it feels so bad 😢

That's 1/2 the reason why I ended up choosing Pally as my main in SL. I wanted a class that could actually deal damage and be scary after playing one that was c/d tier in BFA. Glad to see Dev is going to be doing well in TWW from what we have seen so far. It's going to be my main with Pally being my #2.
I know this more than most. Feral main since Cata and now we finally get to somewhat shine once again 😅 it’s either been super squishy to where u die to the smallest dam, Or our damage just isn’t there, But rn it feels good.
Man the fact that frost DK was feeling like S tier instead of unholy for the first time in 8 years I was hyped …. Now it’s just ended up n the dumpster again…..
Feral has tons of damage. But the energy costs/return is horrendous. Damage is great inside of cooldowns-ish, pretty much useless otherwise unless you want to hit and run with bleeds which is a very boring playstyle. Always starving for energy now. Rogue and Wind doesn't have that problem with great burst AND sustain. Give back Predator’s ability to reset Tiger’s Fury when an enemy dies would be a huge help. I'd be pretty happy overall with that one change.
Yo, first time viewer. Can you do a list more so takes in consideration the specs that are good and which counter them? Ya know like if frost mage is S tier and a crap ton of people are playing them then that would take Marksman up to S tier for counter. I think specs/classes that counter are just as important as the best.
Demonhunter is actually bugged for horde on the beta so you only see them on ally. I would say havoc is stronger than it was in df but it will probably be A or B tier for the first two seasons untill their mastery hits that higher number. I would probably move arms fury balance druid and enhance down one tier but other than that I would say this is a pretty accurate tier unless they make more changes.
It hurts sub the least by far thanks to shadow dance. In my opinion assa will feel the nerf the most because they aren't as tanky as outlaw and rely on Kidney Shot to reduce incoming damage. Good players are already tracking their DRs so that is in no way a positive change. Might help the lower rated ones though, true
@@Hitmaster8 ya wasn't saying it was a positive change and still a nerf certainly. Really see sin playing a lot like it did in bfa. Idk I haven't played the last two xpacs but would think 10 more sec for sub to ks off target a lot worse.
like every beginning, survival started op... then immediately devastated by nerfs. It should have been a little more resistant but in the end they destroyed it again
Please play Enhancement. I've been playing it forever and in season 1 of Dragonflight I decided to try other classes and easily gained 200 rating just by switching classes. Enhance Shaman is playing melee on hard mode.
@@Titan.Fox56 Thematically it's my favorite spec. Anti-caster melee with big burst was such a cool design in classic. It was easily kited but if you interrupted and grounded right, you could connect and when you did, it was scary af. I miss that.
As a DK main, not sure why all these lists are putting unholy in S tier. It's A at best rn. Outside of riders from Abom, our dmg is far below war/feral, and even with riders we're still on par with feral burst at best. Also, feral has absolutely broken self healing. Our self healing overall is trash tbh, death strike spam is the only way and it heals for 490K ish in PVP with 7mil health pools. And it costs a ton of runic and neuters our dps. (That's 2/3rds of an ice lance btw). People just love to hate DK. Currently in prepatch we're S tier, but definitely not on beta.

Frost do crazy dmg but its glass canon its squshy as fck xd but demolock should be dropped with tanks xd no dmg at all xD i recently start playing frost and its enjoyable,even with some nerf i believe he still gonna be a tier and if u mixed them with some specs from a tier or s tier gonna be still super strong ,especially againt melee:)
Fire is S tier, dont play flamestrike or Bomb(getting nerfed) and u play frostfire. was doing 1 mil dps with frostfires hitting 1.5 mills, pyros hitting 1.2 mills and PFs hitting 900k, you want the 2 piece for fire as well...done some serious testing yesterday and Fire mage is super bursty. u want to get the proc for frostfire before you bust,
@@Aeghis I sent that build to ya, mind ya, im a terrible fire mage so you may be able to tweak that build and get something better. I did some games and beat swifty and bestworld in a 2s game so i was pumped
all of this tier lists are so random, best dk saying frost is better then unho but everyone else neglect that, aeghes putting frost mage better then fire while everyone else is saying fire will be turbo broken, youtubers are just random making lists for views it seems, non of this seems trust worthy. coming from 2.9 glad player
@@Erik-sx2of Yea but Frost DK is still solid with the nerfs. It's just better with the 2handed build instead of the DW build. Right now no one truly knows what's gonna be good we still have a WHOLE week left of beta for them to do more nerfs/buffs so like Adaptinglol said these tierlist are for fun and honestly they shouldn't take them literal.
This list is so wrong in many cases ^^ especially the healer list. I play all healers. Pres is GOD thats right, then Rdruid is 2nd best healer, then Rsham, then Disc, then Hpreist and Hpal and then MW.
WTF SV Hunter on C ? SV Hunter becomes so sooo strong and Tanky in TWW, a lot of aoe cleve more than any other class , CC more than a Rog ,knockback 2x times, more self heal and and and .... sorry but a cant agree with that. SV Hunter will be on Top in first Season.
The game has 39 specs and he listed 22 of them outside of A or S. Your comment is factually inaccurate in the most obvious way and I have no idea how you came to that conclusion or what no one called you out on it yet.
@@Aeghisret is not A its B if not C tier, lacking mobility/ cc/ healing/utility because all their toolkit is based around 1-10min cds with an average of 5 min cds, meaning after 3 bursts of 45 sec cd the pally got no way to live and just dies because they cant kite or heal(tank) the dmg.
