To all who are grieving my upmost condolences!! 5yrs ago I lost my best friend at 44yrs old, I attributed this song to him. 3months ago I lost my (and my previous best friend's) flatmate and best friend at 45... I doubt I'll ever be able to listen to this beautiful song without crying my eyes out!!

It's hard to say if it's good or bad but it is definitely relatable. I think since suffering a loss is part of life and knowing that we are not alone with the help of such a meaningful song it is overall a good thing. It still hurts though.
I feel numb at this point. Idk if anyone else does, but it sucks losing someone. I've lost a lot of guys over the years not only in combat, but suicide after. I'm open to any suggestions on how to bring back feelings, aside from anger
Maybe try many new things and see if any bring you joy, you could also try to find someone else out there like you that needs a friend, you would be able to understand each other.

I know how you feel. Never give up. I was a cop for almost 30 years. I lost friends to line-of-duty deaths and so many suicides. But I know, I KNOW if I could talk to any one of them they would tell me not to be sad anymore and to live a good, happy life. You only get one. God bless you.

I miss my sister so much... It's been almost 14 years, so I've accepted her death, and I'm used to her not being around, but fuck, it still hurts so much. Never would've thought that when I was listening to this song in high school, that I'd be using it to remember her.

I lost my wife Sonya of 39 years of marriage,, together 41 years and married on the 29th of February because her birthday is on the 20th and mine is on the 9th. In 1984 it was a leap year and she said let's get married on the 29th!!!!!!!
