absolutely I loved to fly then. I have anxiety, and the way they search you if you are pushed in a wheelchair is just too much. I take buses or trains. I can not stand flying now.
i usually never post a comment on youtube, but i have to for this song. even though this song is about how much life sucks, everytime i hear it i forget about work, school, bills, the people i hate, etc. after all the music i have experienced over the years this is still my favorite song.
Strippers anthem. Bc at the end of the day, we're all naked. And I choose. I like my past posts tho. The ones w/ typos. Wisdome. Because I gotta elongate my vowels.
About a year ago (June 26th) my wife and I went to an Offspring party at Chronic Tacos in Huntington Beach for the release of "Days Go By". His wife was by his side, along with a few children. We had the whole band sign the new CD. If they've "separated" it's news to me.
Their record 'Ixnay On the Hombre' was pretty much the soundtrack to my high school years. It got me through some rough times. It's funny how years later, at age 23, this song and the rest of them still mean so much to me.
текст песни Look at me I'm fallin' Off of a cliff now I can still hear my mama yelling No No No But the words mean nothing Can't catch up to me now And the view is so beautiful All the way down When I was a little boy Suckin' juice from a bottle Believing my perceptions were oh so real But I don't know nothing Still knowing nothing Was just enough for me to know the way I feel This is life What a f****d up thing we do What a nightmare come true Or a playground if we choose And I choose Look at me I'm swollen Like a banana fish now I'm never gonna make it out of my hole But I keep on laughing Doesn't really matter There's dozens of reasons for explaining my soul When I was a teenager Suckin' booze with the Vatos Discussing who was gonna live to be 21 They said they wouldn't make it They didn't make it We're all naked when the day is said and done This is life What a f****d up thing we do What a nightmare come true Or a playground if we choose And I choose Don't know who made this all come true But now while you're here You just gotta do what you gotta do Now if I wasn't such a weenie Do you think you'd still love me Pretending I'm an airplane on the living Room floor But like a lovely generator You stand right by me And if words were wisdom I'd be talking Even more So I keep on falling As I'm looking back above me Watching as my mama just becomes a little dot Now I'm like DeNiro I'm amarillo And I'll never know when I hit the ground
The airport terminal looks like that classic 1950s 60s decor so it makes this seem so retro it hurts. I miss places that still looked like that in the 90s
I want to send my best wishes and Congratulations to The Offspring, because they are maintenance the music and original punk style. I'm very proud to them. Kind regards from Panama.
@@glenndanzigsemployeeplease7638 Splinter is a fantastic album and there’s a few punk songs on it and it was inspired by Ignition( the best and most perfect punk album ever imo) Dexter said.

Dexter:"im da coolest frontman" Noodle:"i'm da best dresser in the band" greg:"whatever,u decide, just let me play the bass" and the drummer, he is the coolest! true skatepunker kind of look/face, i frgt his name damn!
So it's been 20 years and I've tried to go everywhere and see everything and kinda got a pretty good stab at it all accomplished somehow ...and yet this song still makes too much sense. I'm educated, experienced, blooded, burned, abandoned and adopted. I'm everything except a success and I still haven't fucking gone snowboarding yet and I'm back where I started constantly moving towards the next enlightening voyage to nowhere. I think this song is about not giving a shit about not giving a shit. If life is worthless it's still not meaningless even when you choose to not choose. Just keep dancing along, I guess. You aren't dead when you stop moving, you're dead when you can't start again. Like when you finally hit the ground. And fuck you I'm sober. Stoned and babbling is for babbys; real crazy motherfuckers freestyle -look a Trump. =D
For anyone wondering, I'm pretty sure the pilot at the end says, pardon my French, "Sons of bitches. Fucking bastards." I guess he was angry at Mr clock guy haha
@greenfox2863 Thats' so true... It's funny if you think that rock has also be seen as "bad music" and nowadays some people who like rock are doing with the others exactly what they have suffered. I LOVE rock, but the others has the right to like another kinds of music. And I can love other kind of music also.
If you listen, you can hear the inspiration from Boston. It has striking similarities to "Don't Look Back" in the chords and overall structure. And don't think I'm playing favorites, both are great songs.
Hello there fellow metalheads. Instead of a Metal rebellion i propose a new plan. 1. Don't bash other metal artists, we need to unite. We cant fight against pop music if we arent even together. 2. Watch more and other metal videos to get it to the top of the youtube vid list 3. Instead of bashing pop, promote metal with logical reasons, not just "METAL RULES!" If you like this idea, thumbs it up JUST so people can see it, and also spread it around if you like this idea
The Offspring doesn't have any edited versions of cds. Not even on amazon haha. They don't even put the parental advisory sticker on most of their albums.
The first stewardiss near the end of the song is Dexter's wife Kristine, and the one behind her is her sister. Dexter also has a master's degree in micro biology and was enrolled in a doctorate program before he dropped out as the band became too big.
