Oh God, I read the description of the video. Recorded for a public access TV show and they're lipsyncing, so it isn't even live audio. It's all making sense now.

I've never heard this song, but enjoyed it! I didn't know the band was around that long. I enjoyed some of the guitar licks as well. Not sure why the quality bothered you so much. I guess I just pay attention only to the song, and just blocked out the rest.

I’m a big fan of the offspring and I respect your thoughts but tbh I wish they sent you the studio recording cus it’s better Than whatever that live video was I heard that video was for tv so it’s lip syncing and boy was it bad lol but great video

@@THEDavidHeretic i can't fathom why this was the video requested for this song. It's clearly an upload of an old deteriorating VHS tape. lol. The uploader likely should've just overdubbed the video itself (which I believe was just for promotional reasons on a public access cable show in the late 80s) with a higher quality version of the song, cause they're just miming to the studio version anyway.

Ouch! And I thought their first album was rough but this recording is abysmal. I love The Offspring but even the studio recording for this album is not that great. There's hints and small flashes in it where you can hear what they'll eventually become but it's definitely my least favorite.

ah, old school Offspring... Back before they fired drummer Pete Parada for a medical condition (doctor wouldn't let him get the jab due to autoimmune condition) If any song from Offspring was going to be first it should have been something like "Pretty Fly for a White Guy" or "The Kids aren't alright".

This channel is unsurpassed for me, with one exception. These are requesters who sometimes offer terrible videos, and it is the channel's policy that David must respond to every song requested. Guys respect David, subscribers and if you want high scores for your favorite band, offer normal video/audio with normal quality, not this shit. I like the Offspring band, and it deserves high marks, I believe.
