As a Michigan fan, I will aways have a deep seeded hatred for Ohio St, but my respect for the program is equal. Hope your team stays healthy and maybe just a little bit of success. See you guys in November and maybe December and possibly again in the CFP.

@@brucemolett9843 Bo and Woody were notorious for for cutting ethical corners. Bo took the whole Ohio State playbook to Michigan. Plus there's a difference between cutting corners and outright disregard for the rules. Every school has a compliance office. Jim purposely left them out of the impermissible contact during the dead period. He knew he was breaking rules. You think they asked compliance about advanced scouting? My question stands. Is there one Michigan man, who wants to get to the bottom of this? Who would want rule breakers punished? Who would not deflect to other schools, by saying "they do it too"? I thought Michigan had a higher standard than everyone else. Stand up Michigan man with integrity, or just admit that you are scum, who will do anything to win. You can't be both.

I love how Coach Day mentioned the time value of money for these young men. Here’s a quick example: If a player graduates at 22 with $1MM in a brokerage account invested in mutual funds making an average 10% rate of return (which is super reasonable), they will have $55MM at age 62. A lot of these kids can comfortably retire before they’re 45 if they just invest what they make. NIL is giving these kids a massive head start for the rest of their lives whether or not they make it to the NFL.

Ryan lost his father early. He wasn't literally raised in Ohio Stadium, like Jim was in Michigan. Jim's father was a Schembechler coach. Ryan worked for everything he has. He can't call his NFL brother for coaches to help him. Jim was projecting onto Ryan.
