The Carpenters Bluff Bridge was built in 1910 between the Oklahoma and Texas border. The bridge was design for the Missouri, Oklahoma & Gulf Railways. In 1920's, the name changed to Kansas, Oklahoma & Gulf Railways. In 1965, the railroad ceased its travel from Oklahoma to Texas due to the 69/75 being a major source along the red river. In 2013, the finally closed the bridge and open up the new bridge next to the old bridge. The Carpenter's Bridge is now on the Texas Historic Landmark.
