After watching Dial of Destiny, at 6:10 I can't help but believe that when he's smiling at the parents who have just been told their daughter will be okay, Indy is thinking about Mutt and Marion. Of course, that wouldn't be the case for when the episodes were broadcast, but now, it's all I can imagine.
This was one of my favorite episodes too, though I just realize that originally that they were split up apart as the DVD version has it in its entirety, though without old Indy. I like old Indy, I think the fact people either fall asleep or not pay enough attention to his stories represents how history can repeat itself since it's not taken into consideration in modern day activity.
Thanks StooTV!!! Please don't mind my additional info: The Old Indiana Jones Chronicles - Part 3: (includes bookends for) German East Africa, December 1916 Congo, January 1917
I love that you put these on here. This, apart from a few acceptions like pancho villa or "Ned", is the best part of the young Indy Series. I think it is insulting that George Hall was taken out. You should make DVD's of the old Indy scenes.
@@leo11limWhich is great for me, and Dial of Destiny as a film. However, it's bad for Jones as a character. As much as Mutt sucked, his death served a purpose.
Thanks for the reply, bigernb! I would gladly make you a copy on DVD, if you want. A few more questions, if you don't mind: Was this filmed in Wilmington, N.Carolina? What was the name of the hosptial? Did you get to talk to George Hall (Old Indy)? The epsiode in April '92. Do you recall when it was filmed?
You are very welcome! Which person in the backroom are you? I would LOVE to read your recollections of the filming. Please send me a private message or I can send you my e-mail.
