For a single person, the "poor old man" lives in a pretty big house. The man doesn't seem that poor to me. I can't afford such a big TV. I'm not that poor, but I can't afford such an apartment / house. Are there no cleaning companies that can come regularly? Oh no, they would cost money. It's better to go on poor and get the cleaning completely free of charge.
Another old man unable / unwilling to clean & tidy his living accommodation. The sad thing is he was not alone in this home : it was also a home to livestock. Glad he got help and I hope he tried to do better after this support.
