I came in to say the same about Ireland. I do not say this lightly, but this is probably the only channel I would trust to do an honest history of Ireland. I second the Scotland doc too. 😊 For the Irish one though, I would like it not to all be about the English landlords, although that will be inevitable, but honesty is the most I ask... Especially on the famine of 1840s. Many thanks for your very interesting and very full docs. 👍🇮🇪

The workers also built London. Brickies, stone masons, carpenters, roofers, quarry men who dug out the stones. Try building a city without them!

I understand as my own grandfather and father were laborers. One has to ask, who had the capital to pay for laborers? No $$ no laborers.

Everyone pushes own stuff. Yes, workers. The breakdown of the matter creation tells us the next structural sequence: science and invention of the physical and chemical laws, construction, technology and design of the object and processes, leading supervisors and production and only then artisans and proletarians. Considering extent of production automatization at any given time one can claim the overall workers influence to any production process as truly less than one percent. Today automatization can achieve up to 100 percent. The breakdown sees an object as a result of the certain life circle which includes processes from mines and ore deposits through ore purification, foundry, forge (smith), press, cutting tools machinery to assemble lines (not to mention less considerable operations as e.g. weld and paint). Any process requires scientist, constructor, technologist, leading supervisor and a worker. Any matter has a particular, sometimes very difficult, structure of the previously pointed objects. So a car is comprised of approximately 1500 details which develop into several groups as dashboard electrical circuits, steer wheel mechanisms, engine, clutch and gear box forming together transmission, suspension, pneumatic cylinders and tubes, wheel axis and bridges with reducing speed of rotation gear boxes, breaks etc. Same story: any detail is about same specialists. Other objects are planes, trains, gas cookers, refrigerators, ships, electricity conductors and generators, furniture, buildings, complex materials, TV sets, sculptures, mirrors, weapons, spacecrafts, technological equipment etc. Very complicated system of the processes.

But principal decision to the development was accepted by the "old money". The "old money" are behind the mainstream of the creation. In short words, without the "old money" there would not be scientists, constructors, technologists, leading supervisors and workers themselves.

Nicely produced video. But Windsor, Schmindsor. To me, they're still Hanoverians. Queen Victoria was the granddaughter of George III of the House of Hanover. It was through Victoria, not Albert, that the crown passed down to the current "King". Saxe-Cobourg-Gotha was of little importance. George V only changed the name to Windsor because of German associations with the name during WWI.

The issue is that the London that they have built, through exploiting the working classes, only but caters to them, their direct vassals (in the city) and whomever else they only very seldomly let in. The Heritage sector (once my field) is theirs, corporate is theirs; they do let in the middle classes there, but who cares about doing corporate, you have to become soulless to do it for too long, soulless like them. It's their town. It's time to create new communities elsewhere -- sustainable, equitable, equal ones that don't belong to only a very few players and controllers. But that would require land distribution, because they own all the land too. The game is totally rigged. We are very due for the greatest reset this planet has ever seen. These people won't let go of their very tight grip, what they have hoarded will have to be reclaimed.

These documentaries try REALLY hard to make these rich people seem likeable. Anyone with a billion should make at least a hundred millionaires in my opinion. they could be likable after that.... maybe. this I'm a billionaire so I must be great stuff I don't buy. To get that rich alot of people get stepped on I would think
