The Pea Farm was built in 1905 to house minimal security offenders and the inmates worked the acres upon acres of fields for there food and board.The crops grown there were not just to feed the prisoners, but to fund the prison. It was also said, that the defiant prisoners that didn't work the fields did not get fed. Ironically, behind the prison held an women's prison and has since been torn down and only reminiscence of the building still remain deep in the woods. The story has been told, that the prison shut down, prior to being torn down and the women's prisoners were sent to the Pea Farm. Many of women were also subject to abuse and being raped by the guards.
Living on the Pea Farm was not easy and the inmates were subjected to neglect and torture at times. Brutality from the guards was not uncommon and many of inmates were beaten to death and some were shackled to the walls if they got into trouble. Next to the prison sits a Potters Cemetery where the inmates was buried and some even say there are unmarked graves on the land and if you dare to start digging up the ground you may find a body.

The cemetery is on the outer side of the property. I hope you go to the women's. The energy there was absolutely dreadful. Thanks for the video. Be safe there's some BS that happens out there

I love to see your videos. You show the real stuff. If a ghost shows up in your video I know that it's not faked. Thank you so much for your videos of these old places.

@@ParanormalAmongUsExplorations I was wondering if you have ever visited The Walnut Grove Plantation in Robuck South Carolina. They give tours. It has revolutionary war graves. There are still blood stains on the floor upstairs from a soldier. It's not falling apart but it is still interesting. It was built by the ancestors of the actress that played Miss Kitty on Gunsmoke TV show. Maybe they will let you film there. Maybe do a paranormal investigation.

There’s 2 of them. A womens and mens facility. I went back like 16 years ago and It was just as creepy. Cars abandoned on the trail.
@ParanormalAmongUsExplorations
I tried looking for the women's prison out there but it was so overgrown I couldn't see it. Ill try to find it next time I'm in the Shreveport area. Thank you for watching

I grew up in Concordia Parish, LA. As God is my witness, I thought they grew peas on the Pea farms. Never knew it was P-Farms. As for it being haunted, I def wouldn't go at night.

I've explored this place probably a dozen times the ladder is there to go on the roof it's an awesome building.

About 15 years ago there was no ladder, there was way more overgrowth and a vine dropped in to climb to the top. Also did you go to the women's? That was the scariest, much much smaller but the energy was fucking dreadful

Surprised it is empty most of the time there is all sorts of stuff left behind. It is actually not in that bad of a shape could be a cool house. They must have had out buildings to process all of the food that they grew
