Hello and welcome everyone!
To another Northgard game with the Raven clan.
This time we want to find out if the old raven is dead.
With the last update the raven clan got crucially nerfed
and it gets a lot less lore for scouting territories.
Is that actually the end for the old playstyle?

Do players always delay building at all at the start of the game for scouting purposes? Just have all the villagers sit tight and not build anything to save money from building upkeep costs? This has always confused me, why players only build scout camp at start of game but im sure there's a good reason for it

You didnt need a lot and get jörds Blessing in 800 relatively easy. Wont work Like this anymore tho

Most basic reason is for the 3 free villagers to gather food and colonize first tile asap, building house on main tile is such a waste. you only need to build your first house when you have 5.5 vils. building the house same time as scout camp will not boost villagers arrival but you are delaying yourself to colonize which will give that early happiness n boost your 6-7th villager arrival faster. Other reasons like imagine building woodcutter when you have a free forest tile just right next to your main. Building after scouting out 2nd tier tiles gives you better idea of where you want to place your buildings.

Known bug with the Spooky Town Hall skin, it is only visual

playing against owl is tricky af, because they can steal your lore, so for ex. 2nd relic from horse (that said I tried yesterday it's not possible to stack mimisburn and root to have 3 relics lolz), or boost happiness from osmosis for every forest/fish (which is extremely OP with owl relic), reduced military consumption from snake etc.., sad thing about raven, gotta find new exploits xD
