Awesome Jeff! I've been to that house twice now and they've always been incredibly friendly. I sincerely hope that your tours pick up soon as these will undoubtedly help Manuel as well. Just donated a few bucks to help out in the meantime 🙂

Very nice gesture that you try to help this man to maintain this house. Strange that the community at Madeira did not protect this house as a cultural heritage, so they could also give support to the family to keep the house. Thank you for your nice videos 😍🌈

Thank you 🙏 I’m guessing there is a lot of bureaucracy with these support measures, or people don’t know how to go about finding support or maybe they do not have “the right papers” I’m not sure, I am very glad though that we managed to help, we have to keep our traditions alive!

@@Hittheroadmadeira I also live in EU and I know there are certain funds that could be obtained from EU to keep the cultural heritage if the local community has not enough funds. Just a hint. Maybe people there could go to the community or inform themself in Lisbon so the house could be kept and preserved the way it is. I will certainly visit it when I come to Madeira (within a year). Thank you for all the work and videos 😍🙏
