The Olympian Who Sold His Medal to Help a Little Boy Fight Cancer

Piotr Malachowski is a two-time Olympic medalist discuss thrower from Poland. He won the silver medal in 2008 and 2016, but after the Rio Olympics, he heard of a young boy battling cancer. As Peter put it, he suddenly found a way to increase the value of his silver medal, by auctioning it off to the highest bidder to help provide funds so that the boy could receive the medical care he desperately needed.
