I have 11 watches and only 2 are time & date, 1 is a day-date and the rest are chronographs with date. I would be very hard pressed to buy a watch without date. My first instinct when I want to know the date is to look at the watch I’m wearing. Having the date at 6 o’clock is excellent for dial symmetry. Which is the case on my 3 Omegas. As for this Aqua Terra, I just love it. It just hits this sweet spot of being sporty & dressy at the same. It does feel more refined over the SM300 & PO regardless of price points. My only issue with the small seconds AT is the limited color way options. A dark gray dial would have perfect! Especially with the Sedna gold-steel and full Sedna gold variants.
Just got to say, one of the best watch review channels around! Think Omega absolutely nailed it with this release. I don't know what it is with with small seconds but they just look slick AF when done well, here, they crushed it! Have one on the way! My all time fav watch has small seconds as well, Cartier de Calibre, another done to perfection!
Hey man. Discovered your channel about a week ago, and I must say: You are great! I enjoy watching every single video. Keep up the good work, you are on the top of my ''watch-channels''-tier list ;)
I met you couple weeks back Harrison at the Tudor event in Glasgow your exactly like this in real life I couldn't believe it. Top man another great review 👍 👌
Just Left the AD here on Long Island. Tried on Both Small Second Watches, one with Lite Silver and Blue Hands with Polished bracelet and then This Watch with the Pale Blue dial with blue rubber Strap. Also looked at 38mm AT in terracotta I have a 7.25 Inch wrist and I absolutely love the Blue dial with blue strap. Vintage looking with the small Second and the date nestled in at 6pm just fabulous. Can’t stop thinking about it now LOL. Beautiful watch.
@@ChisholmHunterOfficial Had 3 standard AT's before, also World TImer. Standard were good, but had nothing exciting. World TImer turned out to be to busy, too big & too heavy. Small seconds seems to be sweet spot. I hope this one will stay with me a bit longer ;)
Really enjoyed the review. I just bought the two-tone version of these. I was browsing in the AD and, despite my love of Speedmasters, it caught my eye. I was looking at a Dark Side of the Moon, Apollo 8, that they also had, yet it was "just another Speedmaster" (and with the older pre-coaxial movement). And I already have several anniversary models. The Aqua Terra, in contrast, looks so elegant on the wrist and makes a change from a chronograph or diver. The dial is beautiful and catches the light at all angles! The hour quick change is useful. The rubber strap has titanium cords through it for durability.
Just bought my new AquaTerra with a Black Face and I love it to the point I take it off only to wash. The AD offered my 41 mm with and without the small second complication or the triple hands . I picked the 3 hands version and rejected the choice of the small seconds without hesitation or second guessing. It's a sleeker and cleaner look IMO.
I have the 2503.80 first iteration Aqua Terra blue 39 mm on steel brushed bracelet, a fabulous piece. And am very, very tempted by this one, on rubber, with the small seconds that makes it look so different, and God it looks so much more dynamic than a OP, AirKing or Milgauss or Datejust - and I have a Millie.
Hey mate! Love the channel and keep the good work! I am debating between the Seamaster 300M in white dial and one of the Aqua Terra small seconds in the bracelet. Any thoughts
I believe only the white face version of the small seconds comes with the metal bracelet. The blue face is just the strap offered by Omega. I am sure you can buy a braclet separately but currently the blue face is only available with the strap. I feel your pain I have the same concern.
I tried Both on and really loved the Rubber strap over the Bracelet. You can purchase the Blue Rubber strap for the White dial from Omega for additional 720 dollars. The rubber strap was a better Fit on my 7.25 wrist. The adjustment on rubber strap I felt was better than the bracelet which does does NOT have any micro adjustments on the clasp. Blue dial with Blue Strap HANDS DOWN for me.
The Green dial was Stunning in Person, feel like that Green dial would be Wearable on everyday bases. The Other colors were nice but I think is more Dressier, the 38 wears great on my 7.25 wrist. It was very comfortable and Wearable
Well it's not the type of "update" that it needs at all, in fact it's another step in the wrong direction for the AT line. They should have simply "updated" it with the two-part wide 12 marker like the original 2002 AT's had, that would make it a great watch again, WTF is wrong at Omega!
