The game itself is negative the fandom is overwhelmingly positive. The game hides it’s negativeness for 95% of it but everyone in the fandom knows it so there is often a dark undertone.
@@oszlop5896 They're a bit hard to compare because TCOAAL is more of a linear visual novel with a heavy focus on dialogue while Omori is an RPG with a lot combat and exploration. It's really up to personal opinion and preference.

I love omori so much, I love the mix of a cute little artstyle and psychological horror themes But I’ve never wanted to commit several war crimes against a fandom so bad

@@Ihateskibiditoilet1121 I've never used Twitter so a lot of this stuff goes under the radar for me but what I've seen from fans is pretty much exactly like Undertale and I'm not about that tbh The Omocat stuff is questionable af, and I'd say "those tweets were 10 years ago" but that shirt she tried to release a year or two ago was very uhh... Not a good sign, and apparently that got Omori taken off Xbox, and her apology for this stuff felt like she was saying "Oops I didn't know that was bad, sorry!" I can't say she IS a creep, but all that stuff is at the very least strange. I still play the game because I genuinely view it in extremely high regard, but I don't know what to feel about Omocat

Everytime I see some cute Omori fanart on Pinterest, I read the comments and it almost always somehow turns out that the artist of said piece of fanart drew rule-34 of the cast 💔💔 But I still enjoy said piece of fanart without feeling guilty (and without condoning what the artist did) because I know that simply enjoying the work of a problematic person doesn't make you problematic !!

It could mean what people take it as, child-liking, or it could mean things like reminiscing (in most cases, people feel the emotions they did in the past while reminiscing), referring to what they look like now, etc.

I've got to admit the community can be pretty messed up (though there are very talented people, like in every fandom) But the game itself is AMAZING. Seriously, it's life-changing, please don't let the fandom ruin it for you and give it a try. It's really an unforgettable experience.

Omori is that one game that you have to specify you arent in the fandom for I love Omori, its one of the best games ive ever played and has one of the most realistic depicions of longterm trauma in written works ive read ...But holy hell is the fandom and creator of it...something
I remember being in the fandom like very soon after the game came out and it was genuinely one of the most chill and nice fandoms I have ever been in only complaint, I have about the people from the time is that they could be really gatekeepy but it was because most of them could tell what would happen if the game blew up and when the crazy people started showing up I immediately ditched I really miss the old fandom and I met one of my closest friends in that community
