Please pray for my daughter. She grew up in a Christian home, married an unbeliever who led her astray, cheated on her and she got a divorce and isn't communicating with us. It has been very difficult not knowing how she is or seeing her. My heart is broken. She needs Jesus.

I, too, have a daughter who is estranged. I know your grief. I will be praying for you. I was recently given three passages of scripture that address. I pray through them often. Jeremiah 31: 16-17 part of it says, “Your children will return from the land of the enemy. So there is hope … “ Isaiah 49: 16-18, &25 parts of it says, “for all your children will come back to you, as surely as I lives, says the LORD… for I will fight those who fight you, and I will save your children.” And Hebrews 1:13-14, “Angels…Are they not ministering spirits sent forth to minister to those who will (future tense) inherit salvation? My husband (& her father) went to be with the Lord several months ago without her making contact with him. That grieved us both. Pray for a softened heart and that God sends her someone that will share God’s love with her.

Yes, continue to pray. Unfortunately, the Church looks alot like the world. So many churches give birth to babies, then abandon them to the world. The Jehovah Witnesses' recognize the babies need structure and training. There is a dedication in JW that most Churches lack due to ignorance of God's Word.
God is a covenant keeper, are we? We are the children of God. Do we act like Him? Or like people out in the world, full of deception, lack of integrity, corruption. Lying?
I believe everything God said in the Bible. But God didn't say He would pay all of our bills, or we'd never be sick. He said there will always be poor among you, and in this world you will have trouble. So, please tell me how to trust the "right" way.

He's not ripping on young people , he is giving you respect. He can't forget all the references he has seen in his years. He is acknowledging not all people will get his references amd that is okay. He is letting you know if you don't get that reference it's okay, you will still get the message. ❤
