hello, I have a question, I am at the beginning of my career in the art of being a sales agent, I have never worked as a hunting agent before and I understood from my manager after the interview that my salary will be 100% paid from the commissions of a completed sale , it's normal, I want your opinion about this and I would like to know if I should continue, do you think I should continue and maybe with time I won't worry about money anymore?

75 percent of the people who come into a carlot can in no way afford what you are selling and you have to weed those 75 per cent out in such a way that should they get to the 75 percent mark they will want to come back to see you. Be selective about who you spend sales time with but NEVER be rude or condescending to a client. This will come back to bite you in the future as everyone eventually does get to the 75% at some time in their life. Your job is to sell to the guy who can buy but remember everyone you meet, will someday be be a 75 percenter and you want them to buy from you.

Good advice but applies mostly to selling products & services that fit a niche market or small market segment ...think multi-carat bespoke diamond jewelry... or a CAT scanner

This is so true. I’ve been in car sales for three weeks and I have noticed how much time I have waisted trying to qualify unqualified customers. And how quick and efficient the process is when you’re dealing with a qualified buyer. Great video!

I'm master car salesman but state makes you jump through hoops. The car has to look pretty. Sound good some colors look better different models. Up here in Idaho they go crazy for ram 4x4 diesel. Repair driver seat base. All check engine light is air leak in lines. You just plug in OBD2 scanner it talks to computer. All cars have same bad parts your homework is learning mechanics wiring diagrams. Realfixesreal is old guy on here. If car needs parts find parts before buy car work backwards worst case senerio. Bank only likes certain model years good luck friends.

In the case that someone is qualified but the customer feels like they don't need it how do you impose them to buy from you? They had high rate before I want to help them by lowering what they have which is much lower but they dont want to change co.Its no brainer maybe just loyal to the brand they already have?Any advice?
