For the power, you could have two smart batteries. One for your oil power plant and one that will turn off your presses if the power is below a certain level, that way you always have power to at least run the refinery. Or you could have a tank for petroleum that gives priority to the power plant, with overflow going to the presses. Just some ideas for people.
Good idea, I think another possibility is to have the oil refinery and the gas pump on a separate grid powered by a natural gas generator. The oil refinery produces 90 g/s nat gas, which is exactly as much as the nat gas generator consumes.

I usually do dreckos too, but my goodness, they take forever to breed and start producing. In practice, you may as well do the industrial route at the same time while you wait.
I'm pretty sure it works with Wolframite/Tungsten, if you run into problems with gold/copper then you'll want to snake the pipes a little bit and get some more surface area, either that or install a few tempshift plates.
What if you want the opposite of such a system say you're on Rime and it's cold as all hell. Would you get enough heat to cool the machines and yet add enough heat for farming?
It's a pretty good amount of heat, but I think on Rime you need to get some heat and farming up earlier. Kilns are a good bet-- they're 20 kDTU of heat early in the tech tree that doesn't need any complicated setup.
@@gearheadgaming1 yeah I'm trying to get some heat with space heaters but kilns might be better. I am worried about what to use with them I'd rather not deplete my coal supply. I have 3 rooms for hatches and 13tons of coal right now. Still really new so perhaps I may have more than enough materials to not worry just yet.
@@epiccollision From what I've heard; not if you take proper precautions. And even then you needn't worry about gems so much on easy. If you keep on top of it, it's just a slight moral problem
this is insane overkill... instead of pumping the natural gas down to 900 grams pump it at 4500 grams... pretty much does the same thing, also build the things with gold. enough said, dont even need a video for that lol
