@@Dargoneth Alien movies? well.. not really fan. Most find 1 the OG as their reaction was unscripted during acting etc. Don't think I ever even watched the early ones in full. AvP was too cringe, lots of PRC sentiments. I'd recommend Prometheus and the sequel lol.
A very cool thing about false killer whales is that they actually meet and socialize/hunt with dolphin pods. This is really cool as it shows us a cross species, cooperative lifestyle of two animals.
@@starstorm1267 Oh, really? I thought I saw that in a documentary made by the BBC or something. Think it was a blue planet but they blur together after watching so many... Well maybe I'm wrong then. 🙏
@@starstorm1267They actually do this in the wild too!! Mainly with bottlenose dolphins because those are quite big dolphins, most other dolphins are quite small. I remember an article of them hunting together off the coast of New Zealand
@shafqatishan437 Pilot whales have been observed harassing and chasing killer whales, also known as orcas, in some instances. These interactions have been described as "stunning" and "perplexing", and have raised questions about what triggers the interactions and their impact on the killer whales
@@radonjanovovic9100the only reason why Orcas avoid these guys because they live in a larger group than Orcas. 1vs1 Orca would obliterate Pilot Whale anyday.
Exactly, Pseudorca crassidens(false killer whale) is not the same as pilot whale that have 2 species Globicephala melas and macrorhynchus. The dorsal fin make them easily distinguishable
Sadly yall have it confused. The Orca is the ultimate apex predator, this one is a hack. Orcas are known for killing and eating everything in the sea, hence the nickname, "Killer Whale". Think about it, all whales kill but they all also have a certain diet of krills, shrimp and/or little fish. Whereas the Orcas will eat anything it comes across and they are known for torture of other animals. Flinging sting rays 30ft into the air for fun, stunning them with a tail whip. Spiking seals like footballs.. they have killed white sharks, whales, squids, seals, you name it, they killed it.
Well no that's totally debatable, you are taking these things like a video game that's not how the world works. Sure you can make a good case for it but time isn't spent scientifically proving that one creature is THE apex, it's complicated.
Orcas are literally dolphins...😂. Internet made dolphins look like evil creatures just like it did with sharks, while there are hundreds of species of animals out there that are "worse" (in our eyes) than dolphins. It's nature, move on...
A Wholphen is a hybrid between the false killer whale and a bottle-nosed Dolphen, unlike hybrids like the Taigon or Liger, Wholphens can bear healthy and fertile calves of their own. Although they only exist in captivity.
I’d not heard about his type of whale before. Beluga whales are very intelligent and interesting whales. When we were at SeaWorld which yes, I have mixed feelings about, I spent over 30 minutes interacting with a beautiful beluga whale who could see me face to face under the water. I hope someday humans will have the ability to communicate with animals, especially ones that we know are so intelligent like these beautiful whales.
Aquariums are indeed prisons for highly intelligent beings. Lifetime imprisonment and they didn't even commit any crime. Just because they're not human so who cares if they're locked up for life and used as attractions for entertainment and profit. The best thing to do is not financially support these disgusting businesses, and encourage others not to go there.
This compilation reminds me of that one clip, with a diver. And I swear, you don’t need a translator to understand the exuberance from these creatures - realizing what they’ve found! Like a golden retriever. I know it’s a wild animal but still adorable 😂❤
@@samuelgarrod8327 All Delphinids are Whales, but not all Whales are Delphinids. Every family in the Infraorder Cetacea (Belonging To Whales) are whales, double backed by the Parvaorder Odontoceti (Toothed Whale), Delphinidae are Cetacea and Odontoceti so are whales.
Orcas are the largest of the dolphin species, in this instance size does matter and they are the apex predator among the Oceanic dolphins or Delphinidae.

They definitely deserve a unique name. Their name comes from the fact that the skulls of false killer whales and killer whales are quite the same. Nothing else. It's one of my favourite animals, they're so cool! I think it's awesome people are starting to recognize them.
It's the weight difference though that's huge, these guys are 3000lbs while orcas can get well over 15,000lbs! Even the biggest great white sharks are bigger at 21 feet and 6000lbs.
@@Largemouth_Bass_2.0 I've since learned that Orcas are the largest of the dolphins species and that all dolphins are whales... the smallest of the toothed (vs Baleen) whales 🐋🐬🐳 🙀And that Orcas also kill sharks🦈
Technically yes they are whales just like false killer whales. They belong to the toothed whales. The ones you're probably talking about are baleen whales.
In BCS, México, we call them "Bufeos" and a friend of my former university classmate, was eating alive by a group of bufeos in a kayak at North west La Paz city, in 2019.
My Mom fell overboard in a pod of those off Catalina Island..Dad whipped a U turn..grabbed her by the hair and told her to grab his arms..he lifted her right on the deck..and we continued to Cat harbor.. WOW that was a real voyage..lol
Wow I didn’t know they existed I’m not new to animals shows videos I actually have watched many shows about animals and I never seen these creatures awesome I’m going to look them up now thanks.
