It's a plus minus system actually, elemental reaction feels so unique, but it's actually limit your team building to specific elemental reaction. In other hand, forte and intro-outro system feel so basic, but it's actually widen kuro's creativity and that will affect our team building in the future
@@vince4503 true, with forte system, the game actually have more unique and wide team comp possibility. There are actually some good comp that works better with duo team comp other than full trio team (ex: havoc rover + danjin)

there was one time i was using baizhi and i cant use her atks against this creature that's also ice - it keeps saying 'IMMUNE' 'IMMUNE' I was like, huh interesting
I mean, those are belong to hoyo games. That's still fine. It's not like Wuwa is doing a legit direct copy even the standard pulls from awakening characters
But then the dendro situation would repeat itself but in WuWa. If the elemental reactions are too powerful it takes over the combat, people no longer focus on the character they like but rather the reactions only. That would kill the game. I rather want the elements to have effects like burn, freeze etc.
If wuwa had reactions then genshin idiots would not stop saying that wuwa is just plagiarize genshin, wuwa had some sort of reaction at first but they removed it
Pls no more elemental reactions. There was no way to balance something like that in the first place when all that matters is damage. Completely ruins entire cast of characters just for being a certain element
Elemental reactions are cool but they are braindead, here at least you make cool combinations of characters, plan rotations and play each charactet fully
I dunno man, I always disliked the effect of elements in the world, I mean it's neat at first glance, but being chain freezed in small ponds because of cryo slimes, or burning yourself because you're on grass with a Pyro character was quickly becoming annoying
@@kiuhh1118was yeah but its just boring now ,feels like doing grade one maths (dendro+hydro=big damage),with wuwu reactions isnt its main form of combat like genshin
Since wuwa released, I haven't played genshin. I like Wuwa playstyle and same with Mtashed, I missed the elemental reactions. I wished they added more elemental r3actions on genshin cos it's kinda boring now.
The amount of salt people have over gi is laughable.....gi as a game is great...and people talking about wuwa being a good game where meta doesn't matter...ohhh boy..just you wait.... there's a reason devs gave a free 5* ..bcz these standard characters will get bodied by new characters too quickly....so try not comparing with gi ...only thing wuwa does well is the combat....so yeah wuwa is a great game too
What are I even getting at? Them giving out the free 5 star doesn’t really mean that they’re gonna be immediately powercrept. Hell rover alone has tons of dps in havoc and absurd utility in spectro to the point they’ll always find a use. Then most of the other characters are almost always going to have something to bring to the table with their intro outro skills
@@amari7782I mean just watch the differrence between cacharot and jangli, one has big aoe circle and can use skill from any direction. The other is stock on one direction, has slower animation and smaller aoe. Both are claymore
@@teeman7137 you mean jiyan? Overall that’s true but at the same time that’s kinda his point is he’s meant to be that primarily ST focused character but even then it’s not like the dmg difference is that huge
I'd rather they keep doing their own thing instead of copying anything further from Genshin. Genshin is such a brain-dead game anyway and I wouldn't want casuals to start invading WuWa with their dumb takes like getting stupid content like TCG or Teapot into Wuwa.
Its not because you don't like TCG or teapot that its stupid content since a lot of people enjoy it. You just don't need to play it. And Hoyoverse only makes casual games and we have to accept that, if you want to suffer go play souls like or a pay to win multiplayer game
@@0fenser Yeah no shit i dont play either of those modes. i dont want it in wuwa thats why i want kuro games to stop copying genshin and their brain dead content and just make their own stuff.
@@0fenserbro most genshin players don’t like the TCG, you either have people skipping any quests related to it, not even going to mondstat to do the quest and the handful that do it but drop it once there’s no more primos
Nahhh, I don't want the elemental reaction system from genshin to be implemented in Wuwa. That's the reason we're blowing bubbles as underwater combat coz how can you apply elements underwater? I think Kuro realized this so they scrapped it to make underwater combat possible. I don't miss elemental reactions at all.
I dont want reactions, but I want each element to have unique effects. As of now only the echoes do these unique effects (inferno rider does burn, ice spider does freeze, etc).
@@traplegend5065 you deft or what? Elemental reactions =/= element specific effects. You need multiple elements to trigger reactions, while element effects like burn or freeze can be triggered on their own. Genshin isnt the only game there is, you know?
maybe for you and me but for the vast majority of "meta" players the only reactions that matter are Vaporize, Melt and any Electro Dendro/ Hydro dendro reactions. all the other reactions were always seen as trash. any time a geo character was revealed people already doom posted them since they have no good elemental reactions so they're "forced" to use them with bennett for 'comparable' damage to vape/melt or dendro reactions that aren't pyro.
@@hijodelsoldeorienteTrue and that says a lot when only just a few elemental combos are viable. Still more flexibility than genshin. Can't wait for Pablo to cook with blast and see if the other reactions become better.
@@Gilgamesh-em6ruthis. I love the reactions they had going on in genshin but my god did they handle the balancing of that horribly. Geo and physical reactions are dead in a ditch and using electro/hydro in non bloom setups just turned into "just use Bennet/kazuha lol". Cryo is almost the same thing. Only 2-3 reactions actually matters (I'm counting all the dendro reactions as one because it sucks that dendro gets all the good ones but the rest gets boring/shit ones) in the game and it kinda sucks.
And people say Genshin paid hoyo creators to not play ww. I’m just saying look the other way, every single Genshin creator pivoted to ww so fast except for two.
elemental reactions system forces you to get or build characters you don't want to. Imo intro and outro effects are better since your team building can be very versatile also don't have to worry about getting every character
True we has no limitations to builds. Genshit on the underhand is too p2w, forcing you to get characters for elemental reactions. Yet thier players are too stupid to see it😂😂
Its the same thing with wuwa. You want your dps to deal more damage? You have to use Verina. You want your dps to deal stronger heavy attacks, you have to build Mortefi. Basic attack? You have to build Sanhua. If you feel genshin forces you to build certain characters thats your skill issue.
No you don't mtashed. the last thing you want is a similar elemental reaction system in Wuwa as Genshin. then it'll just be the same reactions similar to Vaporize, Melt, and god forbid a dendro reactions would be king and everything else would be trash in terms of meta and that will drive you mad if a character is from the trash element.
I think what he mean is that he want the character able to interact with the surrounding with their element like grass burning by fire & water get frozen by ice. Its makes the world feel more alive
that is the same thing i miss. I really want the elemental aspec reactt to each element. Imagine using jiyan and mortefie and the enemy is burning till its dead
Exactly, but they removed it for probably not doing it for a good reason, to prevent themselves beng called a Genshin copycat more, and also to focused its gameplay more to combat instead of fully rellying on rotation... Edit: There's a bit of misunderstanding here, Yes there's rotation in WuWa. But it's not as necessary as Genshin did.
Or maybe they can't? ToF also doesn't have that. "To prevent being called a genshin copycat" That stigma wouldn't get off of them when creators always put them side by side and rage baiting both sides (like tectone who keeps on rage baiting all the timeee) "To focused on its gameplay more to combat instead of rotation" I dont agree with this cause imo WuWa have a way better rotation/team transitioning than genshin. You need to try those swap back technique and it's really fun. And to further debunk your 'focused to combat instead of rotaion' statement. WuWa literally have an intro and outro skill. THAT is a rotanion-based skill. Their rotation are great and fun and If they can add the elemental reaction then there would be more to it. Thats why I said maybe they didn't add reaction not becouse of sloppy thought of not wanting to be compared to genshin but maybe because they just can't do it.
Eh i always hated it thats why i mostly played dps like xiao, i don't need a complex system just give me cool animation attacks and monsters to destroy and i'll be happy.
Faaacts, no cap the reaction mechanic is overrated. Only ones I can say is some what interesting is I guess overload and electrocute. Other than that it was pretty boring.
@@omegablaster5329maybe to you but the mechanic is interesting, its basically taking the Pokémon system on step further, now not only are there counter types but also those types can interact with each-other in a way that is intuitive. Even using your opponents element against them. And in practical terms allows for creativity for the long term allows for a spectical of combat. Also means you don’t have to follow a specific reaction you can enhance a single element. Its a pretty cool mechanic for an open world tbh. Because you can electrocute water or swirl up fires or freeze people when it rains. Or you can set fire to the grass. Then swirl that up. And its kinds fun to watch the reactions pop off. Its a divertion from what we expect in combat games its good for games to try different things.
The elemental thingy is the only thing they got going in Genshin combat. Forte Circuit is waaay better. It's crazy how sometimes it's not an energy bar, it's a fucking QTE. lol I still prefer Genshin tho, I'd choose accidentally climbing things than accidentally NOT sticking to fkin wall causing you to fall back to the start again.
Biggest thing for me is that in this game, you actually get to use ur combos and utilize the characters in a normal world exploration, unlike genshing where wold enemies die before u even get to use a a burst or a reaction combo, basically u can only enjoy ur characters and team combs at the abyss
Personally, I didn't like the elemental reaction system in genshin. It was fun at first, but once I tried it a lot of times. It just made the characters feel the same to me. The characters do have their own animations and apply their elements differently. But it just felt the same. Because new or old character they just end up doing the same elemental reaction. So, to me, it just doesn't feel different. So the animations don't really matter because they just end up doing specific reactions like any other character of that element. And also most reactions in genshin aren't really good. Superconduct is only used by two characters. Shatter only really benefits Eula. Navia is really the only character that benefits crystallizing because of how her kit works. Burgeon/burning is meh my opinion. Overload is clunky to use. I miss tazer, but it's meh now. Freeze is alright it depends on what team you use. Like only good reactions are really the meta ones, unfortunately. Swirl, melt, vaporize, and hyberbloom. But to me, it makes the character feel like any other character. Keep in mind this is my opinion.
I miss the reactions... but I do not want it in WuWa purely because it'll start the whole Hyperbloom problem we had in Genshin which is something I don't want in WuWa.
It's a fairly okay game but for how much people have been hyping the combat up, it really has no impact, and its nothing all that special. Still a fun time killer if you dont care about story or unique aesthetics.
ahh yeah elemental reactions so that the goal of the combat becomes to proc as much elemental reaction as fast as possible and thus no character stays in field for more than 5 seconds hahahahahaha oooof
My only issue with it for me was the gap in dmg based in what elemental reactions you did and how it kinda forced you to run certain characters, mainly because some characters just couldn't work with or didn't have a good reaction .
genshin impact is a great game for anyone who has little free time and are working/studying. Tried Wuwa was great on pc, but too jittery on mobile that I had to uninstall. Further Voice acting is very bland guess they didn't pay much to eng VAs.
The voice acting is most likely a problem of directing, they most likely didn't have many takes nor did have any information about what the scenes was about or what should they make the character sound like
genshin system wouldn't work too much in my opinion because we only have 3 characters and it seems same element character buffs same element damage type on other characters, like yinlin working great with electro, yangyang working good with jiyan...
But i really want the elements to at least do something, it currently seems like theres no use for the elements (except for the buff from other characters which i dont consider to be the elements’ usage). If anything, elements make it harder to build echoes lol
@@Shadwlink Fusing is different, it's like rerolling useless echoes. I'm stuck with like 10 good echoes at lvl 1 that I can't lvlup due to 0 exp echo materials
It still sucks that Genshin won't implement the current combat event into a permanent event. It's actually legitimately fun and difficult. Can actually get one shot AND have a crap ton of hp to get through. But sadly they don't. They at least finally added another combat endgame mode. So we will see if the hardest setting on that event will amount to anything.
while i do like the elemental interaction with the envoirement (fire arrow to branch = burning branch, ice sword to water = ice path) i don't like the elemental "reaction" in battle. It's make teambuilding follow the formula too much.
The element in WuWa kinda feel like whatever at this point. I don't know if they will introduce some kind of interaction in the future but I sure do hope so.
Elemental Reactions means blowing bubbles as underwater combat, No Thanks. WuWa's current combat system allows for real underwater combat just like in ToF where we can use our skills fighting enemies underwater not just blowing bubbles at them.
@@raz522 But how can you apply elements underwater when you're constantly wet? That would mess up elemental reactions. This is why Mihoyoverse didn't implement actual underwater combat in genshin coz it doesn't make sense.
@@I_Love_Plump_Grandmas Its not impossible, you can turn like pyro to hot water currents, cryo to freezing ice paths, anemo to just more powerful water bubbles, dendro to just dendro since its plants, same as geo, and electro just electro but always with electro charged, hydro to strong water currents... I mean its a lot of possibilites, they just were lazy to do it since its probably a mechanic exclusive of fontaine and every new character they would have to make their water combat gameplay just for that region
@@0fenser I still wouldn't want elemental reactions in WuWa coz that would open up the possibility of one shot mechanics or players 1 cycling a boss or floor which I really hate in Genshin. The beauty of Wuwa for me is the combat actually feels like combat. If I wanted genshin mechanics I'd just play Genshin instead. It's good that WuWa isn't a 1:1 copy of genshin. Wuwa is the Genshin I've always hoped for.
I do like both combat systems but I wouldn't really want to mix them together. I feel like it would be too complicated and hard to balance. I also don't always like how elemental reactions limit your team building.
