Can I suggest that you to any and all project "templates" add risk and security i.e. every project needs to think about and take into account risks as well as security issues. e.g. information-, it- and cybersecurity risks. As someone who has worked in the field of security I have seen too many cases of projects not taking security seriously. Aaaand it is unfortunately all to common that security risks cause problems, even severe problems. In many cases those problems could have been avoided or at least minimized if security and risk had been taken into account in the early stages of the project.
@@LaylaPomper There are several methods for inventorying risk and making a risk "chart". Though actually I would take a page out of what you suggest and simply ask " Make a list of the things we are certain coould cause problems". Also make a list of things we think could cause problems. Do NOT try to do "the perfect list" in one session, compile the list iteratively. E.g. start talking about "What do we NOT want?", "What could have an adverse effect?" etc (are we afraid of ransomware?, what happens if person x steals all of our information?, what happens if there is a fire in project office?, what happens if my pc with ALL of the project documentation is dropped on the floor and breaks? Etc Etc Etc
I really liked this video. Do you have any suggestions / experience on how to manage all of this from a Product Manager point of view? My job is to create all of these project briefs, and make sure all teams are alligned. How can I best keep track of "the project of project briefs"?
I created a "System Creating System" in Obsidian to keep track of all my systems and improve them systematically This allowed me to - use version control in my systems - try new systems in a systematic way - have a single management workflow across all my projects This unlocked a new level of piece for me Like I didn't have to monitor all of it just in my head (Also as a bonus, it allows me to work in my systems in a modular fashion, using agile project management techniques like Kanban or SCRUM)
