You prolly don’t read these… but I was with a women for 3 years… took her child in and stayed with her for 3 years loyal never cheated or even looked at other women with just… found out 3 days before Christmas she was cheating for the past year… she told me it was just because she wanted money and never did anything with the guy… she was apparently dogging me at work to everyone too.. while cheating and everyone at her job knew also…. She’s still here and wants to fix things… gave me all her passwords and told me she won’t talk to anyone at work or any guys ever…. Am I stupid for giving her a chance? Is this fixable?? 💯 I got wrecked by a woman like this and the worse thing you can do is cry, beg, and chase. I learned my lesson and it will never happen again. Women can be cold as ice and downright cruel, brutal, and even evil. You must move on without any emotion and channel everything you feel toward improving yourself and toward worthy goals. Any woman who leaves you doesn't deserve you, your time, or your energy! If a woman that truly deserves you comes along, then great, and if not then it is what it is - your peace is priceless...remember that!

True. I once dated this woman, I found out she was cheating. I hurt but still in love with her. She told me she wanted a break up but I insisted on giving the relationship another chance. She agreed out of pity for me and guilt since she cheated. However, that week, I could feel she wasn't there emotionally anymore. I realised that I'm only postponing the inevitable at the expense of respect and dignity. I told her I could see she's out of it, and I let her go. But guess what? You only find out after recovering from such that the person wasn't even worth it. I'm glad thing didn't workout because I met at 10x high value and beautiful woman. I even travel with her a lot, I take to all the places she wanna go.

We like to think of women as the romantics of the sexes but that is far from the truth, women can detach VERY easily and they respect the same my girl and I was kind of in this weird phases where there wasn't intimacy and she seemed content with it so I told look I feel we should break up and suddenly everything changed, the relationship I had where I kept begging was the opposite the girl detached and hated me more and more the more I chased. I’ve learned-and I mean emotionally learned and not just intellectually learned-ya gotta do what’s best for you & your own life, and if a woman wants to be with you through part of your journey, or if she wants to chill with you at your destination point, go ahead and accept her offer if you really like her. But don’t extract promises from her and don’t put yourself out for her benefit (unless it’s something you can do without cost, or inconvenience, or pain to your own self). Perhaps being a solid dude who makes unlikely progress possible through his fidelity and wins the appreciation and admiration of a diamond-in-the-rough who’ll forever appreciate him in return… Maybe we men have some “fairy-tale” expectations just like women used to get that “knight in shining armour” stuff spoon-fed to them when they were younger. I’m not certain where we men get our unrealistic fairy-tale conditioning though. 🤔

Great advice and this definitely takes a lot of strength and self worth to hold back from trying... the messed up part comes when they finally do respond and hit you with the "you didn't even try to get back with me so that's how I know you didn't care" text message. 😆🔫 Hopefully by then you're in a mindset where you know you did care and won't allow them to make you feel guilty about accepting their decision, after all, they left the relationship, not you. Its really crushing when your wife and mother of your child does this to you! We had problems but i never cheated on her or did i put my hands on her. I argued with her alot after the divorce. Then i got my self together and i dont bother her unless its about my child. I still feel stabbed in the back by her! It shows she truly didn't see my value, even she watched me provide for my family. I accused her of cheating towards the end! You make that “stand by you” promise, and most men take that promise seriously [word is bond, & if your words aren’t followed up dependably with your actions then you’re not an honorable man ]. I’m not sure why women don’t think about being an “honorable woman” similarly. If anybody has any theories, I’m all ears. For women talking to eachother and explaining things to me, I hear: “if you’re not happy in a relationship, you ought to leave it.” I KINDA get that: if it’s a lifetime of serious unhappiness versus breaking a promise… ok, I DO see your point. Can all you women and girls clue us men in a li’l maybe ? Like, be brave and tell us: “hey, I see you’ve given me your ‘ride or die’ commitment. Although I like you and am currently dating you, I’m not sure about being your life-time ‘A #1’ number one. Feel I ought to be fair and let you have that information to use as you see fit.” Ok. I admit that last sentence I just imagined and typed up sounds like it’d be spoken by a man, and not by most common, neuro-typical, attractive, women. I know for a fact that women are humans and they DO have feelings, and the concept of “fairness” isn’t beyond them. I’m sure I’ve heard all my friends-who-are-girls say X, Y, or Z isn’t fair in some context or another. Alright, I’ll admit I need the answer or at least some hints.

LOL, I asked her to come back and told her I would forgive her. After all, she was the cheater and the emotional abuser. I did not want my kids to have to deal with a broken home. She realized that I was completely onto her, and she totally cut off all communication after that. I did not beg....that is not to say that I didn't feel broken for years afterwards, because the marriage failed due to her betrayal.

Thank you. It’s the same for women, too. I’ve just ended a relationship, 1 month ago, but I knew the relationship wasn’t right for me, 3 months ago. it was difficult to do, but I knew I had to do it, as it wasn’t serving me & dragging me down. She still thinks we are a couple & is in denial, which makes it hugely difficult for me, but at the same time, I pity her, confirming that I have made the right decision, purely based on her unhealthy reaction.

Amazing advice! 💯 Not only is it desperation but it's also selfish manipulation. Knowing by personal experience, we do this is not only trying to get her back, but also manipulating them to make ourselves feel better. For the woman, it wouldn't be fair. When she says she's done, she's done and WE can't change her mind for her. When they don't come back or leave us on read, that's where our self-esteem and confidence gets hit. Just gotta stand our ground and go into no-contact with her ASAP. With the first relationship, it's gonna hurt and our emotions (dopamine and oxytocin) will toy with us to such a degree, giving us thoughts of wanting to reach out to them. But as you train and discipline your rational thoughts in addition to keeping your time occupied (work, gym, hobbies, etc.) focusing on you, you can get through anything. The woman may not come back but not only will you have major respect and self-worth for yourself, she will see that as well. Stay strong everybody! Great video Olivia!

The best thing that happen to me, friend's and family support. I moved on got myself together, got a better job, bought a house, met someone else. Got my passport traveled, now engaged to a hottie. No one is obligated to be with you. Life is all about free will. Anyone can leave someone at anytime. They don’t even have to give you a reason for breaking up with you. I know it sounds wrong, but that’s life. You must accept their decision. If a chic ever left me or “ghosted” me I would never cry over her or try to get her to stay with me. If she wanted out then so would I. But I would hope that she understands that there is no coming back. Her decision can not be undone. I would not want her back and could not accept her back under any circumstances . I move on extremely fast and I don’t get back into relationships that have ended. That’s just the way I am. Don’t trip over what’s behind you. Move on.

"If you love something, let it go. if it comes back to you, it's yours, if it doesn't, it never was." When it comes to the context of women, no, you let it go and full stop there. Never take her back! The only reason she comes back is because Plan B,C,D didn't work, and she's not sorry for what she did...she's sorry because she's lonely and looking for a soft place to land. Women never hold that level of accountability to themselves as to what they did wrong, why they did what they did, consideration of how it affected him BEFORE ghosting..after ghosting, what's in me that gives me the ability to lack that level of empathy, etc...Majority of women don't even understand that level of accountability. look up the dark triad traits, and compare her behavior to that triangular model.

So right, guys. I've had four longterm live-in relationships. 2 years, 19 years, 33 years. When she says "break" or "done", she's done. Recently went through something like this. I fell for her. According to her, she cared for me. And without warning or reason, she ghosted me. I made 3 attempts to reach out to her. With no success, I left things in God's hands. I want her back, but I value myself enough to know that I don't deserve to be treated like this. And I'm the one good man she's had in her life, according to her and her family. Unfortunately she took a part of me when she left. I don't think I can put that much effort and that kind of energy into another relationship. I don't think I'm willing to invest my heart and loving spirit anymore. If the right woman comes along and brings it out of me, or if God brings it out of me, then fine. But it's too costly (for me) to invest my heart again. I'll give the next woman what I can, but it'll be a faint image of the good loving man I used to be.

Kinda different if you were in a serious relationship though. Only people who has been through a heartbreak knows this. Sticking to your goals and and move on is what your head tells you, but what your heart tells you is completely different. They can't cope so your emotions are out of balance and i see people getting burned out because of it and falls into a serious depression. That's the dangers of having a strong emotional bond with someone.

She broke up with me before New Year’s Eve citing Mental Health Issues & Depression. I still love her, and have been supporting her as best as I can when today I woke up and didn’t feel like engaging with her. She text me one sentence , and I’ve proceeded to block her online for my own mental stability. I’ll always love her and the good times , but I gotta look out for me.

Was dealing with a situation like this and I kept running back and making excuses for her thinking maybe it was me. In the process I felt like I lost my dignity and self respect as a man. After a month of reaching out to her and she not speaking I finally had enough and put my foot down. She came back but it just wasn’t the same. You shouldn’t have to chase anything because in the end the juice isn’t worth the squeeze. You won’t feel the same and the respect level will not be there.

Find a person who knows that love is more than a feeling ….Someone who knows true love is action/commitment long after the “feeling” is gone. Someone who will be loyal , respectful, gentle, forgiving, patient, kind, humble

Logically and emotional makes all the sense in the world. When you are in these emotional state... Very hard to be logical and to think with some sense. I think it's a very dangerous place for a man to be in.

Going through this with my current wife. We have 2 kids. Ive dated women in the past and gotten over them but this was different because she's my wife. I really cared and did everything to make her happy...never even looked another female but she clearly made it clear she doesn't want anything to do with me

Olivia, thank you for this video!!! I just got my emotions under control. Yes we connected on a high emotional level, we broke up back in August. Took me until this month to get back in front of my emotions. The hard part is, we work together, still, via mobile, so our whole relationship has been thru texting, FT (FaceTime) etc. there was a few office visits too. Texting has slowed down but when I don’t text, that whole miss you game starts. Smh anyways, I’m just glad not to be so focused on her, especially emotionally! I understand men are not perfect but since it is true that 70% of break ups are initiated by women, it makes sense why you have an audience so large.
