This is awesome because this family started with simple fun ( always fun) videos and got big I certainly respect that it's hard work! Enjoy that Raptor because it's a 100k truck ( top of the line)
I live in Michigan, and I drive an F-150 4X4, and one item that I have on it is a brush guard that protects the front end in the event of a deer collision. You might want to look at a brush guard for your Ranger, and when it's installed, it won't interfere with opening the hood, and depending on the design, you can install lights on the guard for helping with night driving but check the regulations in New Zealand concerning the guard lights.
VEL0C1 is for Velociraptor the dinosaur famous from Jurassic Park. Raptor also are a type of bird. Enjoy the change in contact keeps it interesting with the occasional outlier. The editing in the beginning was amazing super professional and great blending of cuts and transitions.
Like it, want to see the progress in the future. I think it would be nice to see the others in the family doin similar things that involve their interests as well.
Fellow Honda owner here. Have an 08 Civic Si, which has a 2.0 K20 engine that revs to 8000rpm. Put some airflow mods and lots of suspension upgrades, as well as other tiny upgrades here and there to make it better to drive. It’s a monster in corners and gets good gas mileage while still having some pep. Jealous of the Euro R, never seen one yet here in the states.
If you havent added one already i would add auxiliary cooler for the transmission. Your truck will last much longer and probably never overheat during its lifetime no matter how hot it is outside or how long you drive it. I put a transmission cooler in my ford and drove it for over 500,000 miles before the frame of the cr gave up. an oil reserve tank with a heater and a chiller can also add years to your truck. also an aux coolant tank will make it certain you will never run the dry either. The better you cool your engine and transmission the longer they will keep the truck running. These are all cheap and easy changes and worth every penny.
What a sexy sound! My dad always had 13 Ford Mustangs...1 show room condition, 2 for daily driving, and 10 for parts for building to sell. You should here his1968 Mustang...almost sounds like your Ranger Raptor. Love Raptors!
I have Kia stinger 3.3 twin turbo gt2 black with red interior and have done intake, exhaust, hks plugs, tune, and run an e85/93 octane blend for an e30 mix and it moves. its also an AWD btw. Another cheap mod that gives some insurance is An oil cath can. I have one aswell. Love is coming from Dayton, Ohio.
The guys from Fab Fabrications are awesome, grab yourself the matt black 4" tips man, finishes off the rear end nicely. Gives it a bit more of a nicer note too.
You should try to do a “race experience” at a race track in America. At a lot of NASCAR tracks they have the Richard Petty Experience where you can suit up and ride along. We got up to 180 mph at Daytona International Speedway.
You should drive a f150 lightning while in the states. They are rocket ships. Beautiful truck and love the murder out look as we call it in the states. the all black looks great and it's the way i ordered my lightning.
I have a friend who is looking to put a Coyote engine in his Ranger. He doesn't have the Raptor because he cannot justify paying $92,000 for a Ranger Raptor. He is putting a Coyote engine in with a 3 liter Whipple supercharger in his Ranger and is expecting to have get 1,000 horsepower.
I'm good with all of the videos y'all have uploaded so far. It's a channel about your family so pretty much anything is fair game. It's one of the things I really enjoy about your channel!
That would be known as the Honda Accord in the states. It’s a pretty standard sedan with a decent engine. It’s more an everyday car but it’s very customizable and I’ve seen some crazy modifications to them. Honda is a good brand as these cars don’t really break down as bad. Toyota as well. As long as people keep up with oil changes and replace belts, fluids, filters, and such they run practically forever. The only reason I got rid of my smaller Toyota suv was because someone put a tiny screw in the gas and it destroyed every cylinder. I replaced it with a standard Toyota sedan which works great.
Once upon a time--the time when I spent 4 months in New Zealand--you never saw American cars there because apparently the import duty was HUGE. Most of the cars on the road were English and most were fairly old but excellently maintained (other Americans of my acquaintance took the opportunity to pick up a classic Jaguar).
Yeah these new big trucks are really dangerous especially for pedestrians cuz if they get hit they won't roll up the hood they will get hit and vital organs and get sucked underneath the front
Sam, The plate is for Velociraptor, but did you know that "Hennessey Performance" makes a kit for the 2024 Ranger Raptor to make it a 500 HP VelociRaptor 500?! Next upgrade to go for? LOL! 😉😀 Love that you're doing this kind of content on your channel. Gives us more insight into you and your family's interests and helps other people that are also into doing things like this themselves. Only one thing I would have added is to have Denz' do it with you (if he's interested) to make it a Father/Son bonding thing, but of course it's also something for you to have as your own thing, so it's great either way!
