I really love maps like this, where it's a simple premise that adds an extra layer of strategy on top of the normal game, the combatants essentially create the map layout themselves gradually, and it's very interesting to watch different strategies at play; for example whether you expand your base into a neat blob for more surface area and chance at seeing crates, or do your just expand out towards the center to get the oil derricks instead for additional income at the cost of less room. Also I like the random nature of the crates, especially when it gives you an MCV for another faction, which drastically changes the game going forward and gives you faction combo options that are usually hard to get in normal matches. What I find interesting is the psychological aspect where "lanes" are created at a certain point into the match, and after that everyone chooses to stick to those lanes even though the possibility exists to create a new lane into a weaker area of the enemy base (depending on what units are pushing, this can take time)
Ya i see what you mean but the crates are also just massive RNG slot machine. I mean this is purely for fun so there is no real problem. But imagine you want to win and your opponent gets one good crate after another, and you're not.
friendly reminder that chrono legionnaires can't get vehicles from crates, so if you're looking for an mcv, you should get the crates with non-chronoing units edit: In a newer video (called EMOTIONAL DAMAGE), what I said has been proven false: the vehicle spawns on a tile next to the legionnaire. The vehicles supposedly spawn only when you have less than 150 units
@@BryanVahey yes, when your unit walks to the crate and gets the vehicle, it spawns at the crate's place, while the unit that got the crate stops before it. Chrono legionnaires always teleport directly into the crate, meaning no vehicles can spawn there edit: In a newer video, what I said has been proven false. The vehicles supposedly spawn only when you have less than 150 units
@@deadwing7051 when you play a match like this you can't focus on the stream thats why he needs trusted mods for something like that, but the person donated so thats another issue.
great game Bryan. Really not understanding the twitch chat confusion with the prisms in your base. Orange can build his own prisms, he simply chono Ic'd them in. He had already used dominator a few mins previous on your own prisms which u destroyed.
I think the confusion was influenced by the fact that the dominator use on the prisms was almost entirely driven by a stream snipe of said prism tanks. Really weak tea by orange.
DUDE IVE SEEN SO MUCH OF UR GAMES... THOU U PLAY VERY WEEL I MUST SAY U SEEM TO NEVER USE THE CHRONO IN TO ICW UNIT.. ALL U NEED TO DO IS KILL 3 MINERS AND IT WILL GET STAR UPGRADE AND FORM THEN IT CAN LITTERALY KILL WHOLE BASE IN NO TIME ALONE. ONLY WAY TO DEAL WITH IT IS WITH AIR UNITS. U SHOULD TRY IT. IN A CRATES GAME GETTING STAR IS SO MUCH EASIER...
You know what Walled World needs? Players able to build walls anywhere on the map. If I remember correctly, that can be modified in Rules ini (or the rules overrides in the map data itself). Also, I think you can increase the distance for autobuilding fill in wall sections. Just imagine the chaos and trolling possibilities...
when you are trying to queue 30 units by rapid clicking only like 3 clicks per 11 connects, it's a true pain and waste of time is it possible to train one bogus unit make it "on hold" then click up 30 desired units fast and then cancel the bogus unit?
Orange had 4353 in losses!?!? so many into the grinder = infinite money. Why no flying dicks? Orange should have won with all that money and power. Bryan just got too much skill.
@@TheWatchernator They are talking about the "residency" stage that doctors have to go through as part of their education. It is a different thing than the "residency" that allows you to live in a certain country.
@@kurupati-xn8bv because of America's lawsuit culture. They want to make sure doctors know their shit right off the bat to not get in trouble. Canada is kinda similar and my RN brother was always depressingly shocked when he'd have to retrain people that were actually doctors in other countries because how little they knew.
The smart thing for Blue to do would have been to truce with Bryan and team up to beat Orange... but ofc, that would require RA2 players be actually intelligent.
