Bishop Bernard, there are a few things I have seen more and more frequently over the last year or so on different social media platforms by churches and pastors. Here are a few: 1) Ancient faith and ancient apostolic fathers. 2) Eastern Orthodoxy being the book of Acts church. 3) The western church is in error because of it's reliance on an English bible. There are more, but if these are some things y'all would address in future videos in greater detail, it would be a tremendous benefit to the body! Being able to share these videos and even use them in our ministerial training has proven to be one of the best assets we have in our church.

Brother Dr. Bernard, would you consider doing a "One God vs. Trinity" debate with James White in the near future? On Twitter he said he's interested in that. Also, it would be nice for the UPCI to review it's policy on Ministers not being allowed to grow beards. I'm a Polemicist against Islam, an Ex-Muslim who became a "One God Christian" and in 2018 I was baptized in the Name of Jesus (Acts 2:38) speaking in tongues, but I keep a beard as I try to reach Muslims with the Gospel. Muslims look down upon a man who shaves his beard. It is seen as effeminate and we know the prophets had beards, including the Lord Jesus Himself. Even in the West beards are viewed differently now than they were in the Hippie age of the 1960's. God bless you.

Glory to God brother. I’m happy to hear this. Also I agree with you about the beard situation. God gave us men a beard for a reason. We should let it grow out especially in a society where most men are being raised to be effeminate.

The Trinity doctrine is a doctrine of one God, the same way as God chose to express God in Scripture.
@livepoetic390
@livepoetic390 3 года назад
@@NicholasproclaimerofMessiah the doctrine of the trinity is a doctrine to deny baptism in Jesus Christ name. It’s a doctrine of tritheism made to look like it’s monotheistic. The trinity doctrine was not the doctrine of the apostles nor the Lord Jesus Christ. It was slowly developed over the first 4 centuries. “Oneness” was the true doctrine from beginning. The trinity is foreign to scripture where as oneness is the very foundation.

@@MrDoctorSchultz because we are of the opinion that he tries to fit God into secular cosmology as opposed to explaining cosmology through the lens of God's word. If we're wrong, so be it, but that's our impression. ESPECIALLY in light of his embrace of tritheism.

@@The-F.R.E.E.-J. I wouldn't say he uses cosmology to explain God or vice versa. He is very adament about how he uses cosmology (or science in general) to support a PREMISE in a philisophocal argument for God's existance. After having read his work, it seems more like philosophy is his weapon of choice, and I see no problem with starting with secular knowledge when it ultimately leads to God. In fact, I would argue that finding the right religion should be an intellectual pursuit. I'm not really sure what my point is, just my thoughts I guess

31:21 "If you have to decide what is orthodoxy, you should believe what the Bible teaches." Yes, regarding the unmoving circle enclosed under the firmament w/the sun and moon moving around it and the stars above, within the molten looking-glass (fixed stars = constellations, wanderers= "planets", not globes named after pagan gods). Yes, Dr. Norris, you are so correct.
@Elkana888
@Elkana888 Год назад
I agree 100%. True orthodoxy is to believe as patriarchs, prophets, and apostles did. Ande they wrote and believed, besides other things, that the Earth is stationary, and two lights in the firmament are circling above the circle of the Earth, and stars are lights in the firmament. Let's be completely orthodox. One God, one Earth, one the highest heaven (third heaven), below which is the firmament (second heaven), under which is air space (first heaven). The so-called infinite universe is an invention of godless, atheistic minds. When Jesus comes, the heavens (the firmament) will be opened, as it was in the time of the great flood, and in the time of Stephans death. Thank you dear brothers for a great video.

I once viewed the topic of oneness as many Apostolics/Pentecostals until I began to read the scriptures for myself. Oneness teachers/theologians loose sight on the truth of the scriptures when they say God is omnipresent, meaning he is everywhere, and invisible because he is a spirit. Yes God is a spirit but he can very well be seen in a designated area and does have a point of focus. For example in Exodus 33 when he hid Moses in the cleft of the rock and hid his face from Moses with his hand (told Moses no one can see God's face and live) and showed Moses his glory through showing just his back. It's very clear God can actually be seen. Let's also remember Genesis 1:27, we were created in the image of God, so when the scripture says Back, hands, and face it is not just symbolic references all the time it actually means what it says, we were actually Fashioned after God (meaning we resemble him and hold attributes of him.) Another error is diluting Acts 7:55-56 when Stephen who was full of the Holyghost (God's Spirit) saw into heaven. Seeing the son of man standing on the right hand of God, even if you want to say "Right Hand" is solely symbolic for Power/Position that still leads to there being a clear distinction between the father and the son. The son of man was bestowed a high position of power alongside the father. After listening to this dialog clearly alot is based on the opinion of theologians and their choice on making the text mean what they what it to mean and not for what it is. Am I Trinitarian? No I'm not. I'm a True oneness believer who believes in the distinction between the father and son, yet that power, will, spirit and authority make them ONE. I don't have time to go into how being ONE is not subject to a single vessel or object, it's a conversation for another day. Blessings.

Brother I was so happy to read your post. I am also a Oneness believer formerly a Trinitarian. However, like you, I see that there is clearly a distinction between the Father and His Son. So many in the denomination I attend (Apostolic Pentecostal) are afraid to see this, fearing it will undermine their faith. I believe the confusion on their part comes from their inability to truly grasp the humanity of our Lord Jesus and that many simply and incorrectly view Jesus as the Father robed in a human shell. Anyway, you are not alone Brother. May God bless you in Christ.
@mtalk828
@mtalk828 2 года назад
@@elderscrollsscholar - Human shell ??? hmmmm 🙄 If the body and blood of Jesus is not divine, then His death on the cross would never had the power to deliver us from our sins. No ordinary flesh and blood could have saved us! Also the words of Paul in 1 Corinthians 11:27 would have been meaningless if Jesus body and blood wasn't divine - "Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord." So, I am convinced that only a "divine" sacrifice could have saved the entire world - not a mere human shell ☝🏽👀

@@mtalk828 Hello Brother. That's a good point and I agree with you. I think you may have misread my reply. I was pointing out the erroneous belief that Jesus was simply Jehovah God in a human shell, which is held by many. Jesus is both human and divine and his flesh is indeed divine as he was conceived of the Holy Ghost. Good point on communion too. Peace be with you Brother.

1Co 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is ONE Spirit. The Spirit is God's essence. Spirit is what God is, and the Spirit He is is the Holy Spirit. That is the missing key to understanding "the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. The reason the Father and the Son are One is because they are the Holy Spirit. This scripture makes it plain. The Spirit is also how we are one in them when we believe. Ro 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but IN THE SPIRIT, if so be that THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELL IN YOU. Now if any man have not THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, he is none of his. 10 ¶ And if CHRIST be IN YOU, the body is dead because of sin; but THE SPIRIT IS LIFE because of righteousness. 11 But if THE SPIRIT OF HIM THAT RAISED UP JESUS from the dead DWELL IN YOU, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by HIS SPIRIT THAT DWELLETH IN YOU. Ro 12:5 So WE, BEING MANY, ARE ONE BODY IN CHRIST, and every one members one of another. 1Co 10:17 For we being many are ONE BREAD, and ONE BODY: for we are all partakers of that ONE BREAD. 1Co 12:12 ¶ For as THE BODY IS ONE, AND HATH MANY MEMBERS, and all the members of that ONE BODY, being many, are ONE BODY: SO ALSO IS CHRIST. In the exact same way, Jesus said,... Joh 10:30 I AND my Father ARE ONE. Joh 17:11 ¶ And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that THEY MAY BE ONE AS WE ARE: (IN THE SAME WAY) Joh 17:20 ¶ Neither pray I for these alone, but for THEM ALSO WHICH SHALL BELIEVE IN ME through their word; 21 THAT THEY ALL MAY BE ONE; AS THOU, FATHER, ART IN ME, AND I IN THEE, THAT THEY ALSO MAY BE ONE IN US: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that THEY MAY BE ONE, AS WE ARE ONE: (IN THE SAME WAY) 23 I IN THEM AND THOU IN ME, that they may be made perfect IN ONE; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Joh 17:24 ¶ Father, I WILL THAT THEY ALSO, WHOM THOU HAS GIVEN ME, BE WITH ME WHERE I AM; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for THOU LOVEDST ME BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. 25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I IN THEM. Joh 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another COMFORTER, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for HE DWELLETH WITH YOU, AND SHALL BE IN YOU. 18 ¶ I will not leave you comfortless: I WILL COME TO YOU. Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and WE WILL COME UNTO HIM, AND MAKE OUR ABODE WITH HIM. Jesus comes to us in the Holy Spirit. The Spirit doesn't leave them, it emanates from them. That is how God is omnipresent. His Spirit permeates every place in heaven and earth. In the book of Revelation, in the last two chapters, where it talks about the new heaven and the new earth, we find no mention of the Holy Spirit. But the Holy Spirit is there, in the Father and the Son. What we do see is a river of life flowing out of the throne. Re 22:1 ¶ And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Joh 7:37 ¶ In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) Joh 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? 12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Trinity isn’t a good explanation of theFather, Son and Holy Spirit. Look at these references to the Holy Spirit. These are from the kjv. Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, the Spirit, Spirit of God, Spirit of Jesus Christ, Spirit of the Lord , Spirit of Christ, Spirit of the living God, Spirit of our God, Spirit of your Father, holy Spirit of God, Spirit which is of God, Spirit of His Son, his Holy Spirit, My Spirit, His Spirit, the Lord is that Spirit, Spirit of grace, holy Spirit of promise, Spirit of adoption, Spirit of life in Christ, Spirit of life from God, the Spirit itself. The way the Spirit is described in the scripture as being "of God" and "of His Son" and being "His Spirit", it doesn't sound like a third person. I don't think the Spirit is a third person. I think it is what God is. Just as you and I are human beings, the Father and Son are Holy Spirit. Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Spirit is what God is, and the Spirit He is is the Holy Spirit. There is only One Holy Spirit, therefore, God is One.

i appreciate this discussion. It's a necessary one. I have purchased Dr. Bernard's book. But I have 2 comments. 1 is when the good doctor says when faced w/deciding between the councils and what's biblical, we should always choose what the Bible says. I agree strongly. But will he use the same discernment when it comes to choosing between what the Bible says about the firmament, the earth being an unmovable circle, w/the sun in motion instead against NASA? Most don't. God bless Edward Hendrie. And the earth has a dome, hence the rain bow and sits on the pillars God placed in the beginning. Read Genesis again. God created the circle of earth and stars and sun and moon--lights. No galaxies or "planets". BTW planet means wander, to wander. Globes in fixed orbits don't wander. but some stars do. Think about it. My other comment is I wish we could lose the labels and -isms. I don't believe in any particular ism, just what the Word of God says, there is only one God. Thanks for listening if you got this far. Great video. God bless these 2 men w/their unpopular message (like the unmoving circle, very unpopular).

@@mrs.elentz2336 I don't know how the earth can be flat when the God says it's a circle. And lest you attempt to use the coin theory, look up the definition of circle and read it carefully. Webster's 1828 1. In geometry, a plane figure comprehended by a single curve line, called its circumference, every part of which is equally distant from a point called the center. Of course all lines drawn from the center to the circumference or periphery, are equal to each other. It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: Isaiah 40:22 (KJV)

DAVID & DAVID, BROTHERS IN JESUS, OUR ETERNAL FATHER, SON OF GOD & HOLY SPIRIT. I LOVE TO ANALYZE (JOHN 1:1) I BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD AND HE IS ALSO GOD WHO SPOKE/ETERNALLY SPEAKS THAT WORD ALSO AND THAT SCRIPTURE WHERE JESUS SAYS "LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR OWN IMAGE" SEEMS TO CONFUSE 90% OF THESE "TRINITY DOCTRINE" BELIEVING PASTORS, WHO CALL THEMSELVES "TRINITARIAN" PASTORS. THEY AUTOMATICALLY SEE 2 SEPERATE GODS, STANDING IN HEAVEN, SPEAKING THAT WORD "US", WHEN THE TRUTH IS, OF COURSE, ONLY 1 SUPERNATURAL BEING, OUR ONE GOD, JESUS CHRIST, IS SPEAKING. JESUS CONFIRMS HIS "ONENESS" MANY TIMES WHEN HE CONFIRMS THAT ABSOLUTE TRUTH THAT "THERE IS NO OTHER GOD BESIDES ME, YOUR SAVIOUR/SAVIOR" THRUOUT MY 1611 KJV AND MY SLIGHTY PERVERTED, BUT STILL FAIRLY RELIABLE NKJV. ANOTHER FAVORITE 5 OR 6 SCRIPTURES IS (JOHN 14:6 thru 11). NOW TRINITY PREACHERS/PASTORS JUST IGNORE (VERSES 14:7 thru 11) THAT REVEAL JESUS CHRIST'S FULL AND TRUE IDENTITY, BUT OFTEN MENTION VERSE 14:6 AND HAND OUT PLASTIC WRIST-BANDS WITH ONLY (JOHN 14:6) PRINTED ON IT, AND IGNORING THE EXISTENCE OF THE 5 SCRIPTURES THAT FOLLOW JOHN 14:6.

The following proves David K. Bernard is correct about the Oneness of God. The following Scriptures proves who Jesus really is and that He is much more than just the Son of God. Deuteronomy 6:4, “Hear O Israel: the Lord our God is ONE Lord.” Then several thousand years later Jesus said in John 10:30, “I and my Father are ONE.” Exodus 3:13-14 states that before Moses came down from the mountain with the Ten Commandments he asked God who shall he say sent him. God said I AM THAT I AM, tell them I AM SENT YOU. Then several thousand years later Jesus said in John 8:58 "Verily, verily I say unto you, before Abraham was, "I AM." God did not reveal what His name was until Matthew 1:23-25, "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted, GOD WITH US." 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her first born son and called his name JESUS." Jesus said in John 17:21, “That they all may be one, as thou art in ME, and I in YOU, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that you have sent me.” Matthew 26:15 states that Judas Iscariot (the disciple that betrayed Jesus), “What will you give me if I will deliver him to you? And they (the Chief Priests) weighed out 30 pieces of silver.” Note back in Zechariah 11:12 in the Old Testament it says, “And I said unto them, If you think good, give ME my price and if not forbear. So they weighed for my price 30 pieces of silver.” Note that is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob talking about HIMSELF after He became a MAN and before He was crucified. It says in John 19:34, “But one of the Soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came out blood and water. “Note back in Zechariah 12:10 it says, “....and they shall look upon ME whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him...” Also in Zechariah 13:6 it says, “And one shall say to him (Jesus), What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those are which I was wounded in the house of my friends.” Psalms 22:16, “For dogs have compassed me, the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me, they pierced my hands and my feet.” Also in the Old Testament - Isaiah 53:5, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our piece was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.” Note that is the FATHER of the Old Testament referring to HIMSELF as He was hanging on the cross. Mark 15:24, “And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots for them, what every man should take.” Note back in Psalms 22:18 in the Old Testament it says, “They part my garments among them and cast lots upon my vesture.” Note that is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob referring to HIMSELF as He was hanging on the cross. John 19:29, “Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar, and they filled a sponge with vinegar and put it on a hyssop, and put it to his mouth.” Note back in Psalms 69:21 it says, “They gave ME also gall for my meat and in my thirst they gave ME vinegar to drink.” Jesus said in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life, and they are they which testify of ME.” Jesus is referring to the scriptures in the Old Testament which are referring to HIMSELF before he took on flesh and became a man. (John 1:1, 10 and 14) Paul said in Galatians 1:12 that he was not taught by any man but was taught directly by Jesus himself, which means that whatever Paul did or said was exactly what Jesus told him to say. Paul said in Hebrews 1:8, “But unto the SON he saith, Thy throne O GOD is forever and ever.” Jesus said in John 12:44-45, “He that believes on me believes not on me, BUT ON HIM THAT SENT ME. 45 And he that sees ME sees HIM that sent ME.” John 14:8-10, “Philip said to Jesus, Lord, show us the Father and it will satisfy us. 9 Jesus said unto him, Have I been so long a time with you and yet you have not known me Philip? He that has seen me HAS SEEN THE FATHER, and how do you say now, show us the Father?” 10 Believe thou not that I am in the Father and the Father in me? The words I speak unto you I speak not of myself, but the Father that DWELLS IN ME - HE DOES THE WORKS.” Jesus said in John 14:28, “....for my Father is greater than I.” In other words, that paragraph is saying that the flesh and blood man Jesus did not heal the sick or raise the dead - the FATHER which dwelt INSIDE Him did those works, which He and the Father are ONE, which explains why Jesus said the Father is greater than he is. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:19, “To wit that God was IN Christ, reconciling the world unto HIMSELF." Paul said in Colossians 2:8-10, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in HIM dwells all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily. 10 And you are complete in HIM (Jesus), which is the head of all principality and power.” The Godhead is IN Jesus - JESUS IS THE GODHEAD. Jesus said in Matthew 23:37, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that killed the prophets and stoned them which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together even as a hen gathered chickens under her wings, and you would not listen!” That is a very interesting scripture because Jesus is speaking as the flesh and blood man he was at that time but ALSO speaking as the FATHER (they are ONE) and referring to a time long before Jesus was born. All the scriptures above prove the ONENESS of God and that there is no such thing as the Trinity. We get the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost in the Name Jesus, which is why every time water Baptism was done in the Name Jesus, or in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, meaning Jesus name was invoked at baptism, which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7-8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16. At no time did Jesus disciples use any combination of the words Father, Son, and Holy Ghost when they baptized anyone in water, or use a combination of those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Jesus said in Matthew 24:4,"Take heed that no man deceives you." Jesus also said Jesus in John 10:27,"My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."

Sir you broke that down well with Scripture to back it up. I use to be a trinitarian also but in the back of my head I couldn't understand it or grasp the Trinity. I had too many questions about that teaching . One question was why did Jesus said to Philip if you seen me you seen the father? Another question I asked myself if Jesus is just the son only and not the father why did Isaiah 9:6 say the son is going to be call everlasting father? And if God is not the holy spirit why did Jesus say that God is a spirit in John 4? Many questions I had in my head to where I held to the Trinity but I questioned at the same time. But it wasn't until I went to a UPC church in Texas and they broke down Scripture God used them to help me understand that there is only one God no 3 persons and his name is Jesus. All the fullness of the Godhead is in Jesus. Hallelujah glory to your name heavenly Father Lord Jesus 🙌🔥🔥🔥🔥

And this one God is Lord of Sabbath and we should worship God on the Sabbath day which is Saturday in our Gregorian Calendar.

Does it not seems strange to the non denominational reader of the bible that though over and over again it states 'there is but one God', that post 2nd century believers were now taught that 'Oh bye the way, there are actually three persons in one God"! How many times does the bible state there is 'One God' & how many times does it say 'God the Father, Son & Holy spirit and these three are one'? have you counted? The original greek word at Col 2:9 is TEIOTES which means 'of divine nature' which Jesus was given as God's 'only BEGOTTEN' Son! @@kiwihans100 *There are manuscripts that are without error.* I'm not sorry to tell you that almost all those post 19th century bibles have serious errors. You need to study the issue with an open mind and heart, rather than jumping into things without knowledge. Example a lot of those bibles make the Lord Jesus a liar in John 7:8 "Go up to the feast yourselves; I do not go up to this feast because My time has not yet fully come." John 7:8 (NASB) Here the Lord clearly says he's not going to the feast. but in verse 10, he secretly goes. But when His brothers had gone up to the feast, then He Himself also went up, not publicly, but as if, in secret. John 7:10 (NASB) Another one: 16 For who provoked Him when they had heard? Indeed, did not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? 17 And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? Hebrews 3:16-17 (NASB) Do you see it? "did not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?" All of them provoked? No way! I can think of 2. Joshua and Caleb didn't. So once again, that set of manuscripts is in serious error. 29 your corpses will fall in this wilderness, even all your numbered men, according to your complete number from twenty years old and upward, who have grumbled against Me. 30 'Surely you shall not come into the land in which I swore to settle you, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun. Numbers 14:29-30 (NASB) I've heard some crazy explanations on these. In believer's minds, they truly believe the bible is without errors. Rightfully so. So they make wild excuses trying to reconcile the obvious. What they fail to see is that there's a battle for the word of God and many are deceived. There are manuscripts that preserve God's words. Your job as a believer is to weed out the bad and keep the good. This has been done in the so-called received text. God never said how he was going to preserve his words, just that they will be. P.S. No one, in this century, has seen the originals. The only thing we have is copies of copies of copies of copies... etc. etc.

The trinity is left over from economy which included other Judeo-Christian daities such as "Wisdom." The historical reason for the creation of these deities are clear considering the geopolitical landscape during the time the philosophers were manufacturing the Economy of the Godhead. (See Philo of Alexanderia, Questions in Genesis, Tutulian of Carthage, Adverses Praxeas) the same stoic exegesis was applied to both Wisdom as it was Light, and then later in the centuries applied to Darkness. All aspects of God that were deified by the philosophers to merge Judeon culture with Hellenistic Pantheonism. And they termed it "Economy" and there opponents who believed in the strict Deu 6:4 interpretation as "Monarchists". Reading the primary sources on this issue is fascinating.

Can someone explain Mathew 25 vs 34 (who is The King and who is The Father?) - Isn't Jesus talking to The Father In this case? Why Didn't Jesus say "Blessed of Me from the foundation of the world" 31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

First, if I may suggest, ask yourself, "Why does the Lord speak of Himself, man-Many-MANY times, in the third person?" If you seek the answer prayerfully, without religious bias, you will eventually get answered. That said, notice how Jesus refers to Himself (presumably, "the Son of man" AND "the King") and "(the King's) Father" in the third person. Search the word "King" w/ a capital K, in the OT, and you will see that there is and always has been & ever will be but ONE King - the Lord Jesus. If not, that means there has been (or will be) a transference of power from "one to the other" & there simply is NO evidence to support that. Zechariah 9:9 describes Jesus, as He walked the earth, to a T. In John 12:39-40 John paraphrases Isaiah 6 (verses 1 & 10) to explain how man has ALWAYS rejected God. The Lord has "blinded their eyes" & "hardened their hearts" BY THE VERY ACT of showing them His glory. This is what you MUST understand: the humble / thankful heart can see King Jesus. The prideful / religious one can NOT. Basic answer to your query: The Father lives in Jesus, the man He became, and that's why there is ONE on the throne. Otherwise, when James & John asked Him if they could sit on His right & on His left, He would have had to say, "NO ONE can sit on my left for that is where my Father is." Jesus IS the right hand of the Father. The right hand is an illustration of God at work in the lives of men. Finally, my personal opinion is that, God constructed the scriptures in that, seemingly, ambiguous way in order to preserve them. What I mean by that is, if He had been more explicit about who He is, the devil & those working on his behalf would likely have destroyed them BUT, since He spoke that way, TWO good things resulted: 1) the prideful egomaniacs of religion (who falsely but confidently) believe they can twist scripture to THEIR "truth" & 2) ONLY those who seek the Lord with their heart will find Him - and that is exactly who He wants, those who worship (believe / trust) Him in the core of their spirit & in truth. Thank you for the question, we hope it helps and, may the Lord continue to bless us all as we seek Him in Christ, in Jesus' name! (sorry for "repost", had to put it up in our active acc.)

@@shri7617 that is an excellent question and one I have asked myself, and the Lord, at different times. What He seems to be saying is, _I have mercy enough for all who seek me, even those who are confused by lies._ I cannot claim that I know everything perfectly accurately, but do know the following 100%: my God is a god of Mercy and if you turn to Him, no matter how imperfect your search may be, HE can still work with you. That is part of the illustration of the marred clay he speaks of in the Old Testament. We mar ourselves and HE works with us to bring the outcome HE desires and we seek. For pharaoh, who rejected God, it was destruction. For someone who, although they may believe in religious lies, really wants to know their God , God can work a miracle in that person. Consider and prayerfully ask the following question: I want to be saved. The Bible says God wants me to be saved. Between God and myself, who is more able to save me? After that, it simply becomes a matter of trust. Now whether or not God measures the level of our trust, I cannot tell you. I would only say to trust as much as your heart allows, and let God take care of the rest - for HE is able.

Studying all these concepts unbaisedly only brings one conclusion...everything explained is still types of philosophy. Oneness claims philosophy is the problem with trinity but they are using this philosophy to explain away why Jesus prays to the Father, why and how Jesus said not my will but yours proving two will, into your hands I commit my spirit... all of it shows two separate wills and separate spirits and yet they come up with explanations as to fit their belief because the bible never tells you why or how that works...So everything they are saying is their own philosophy just like Trinity concepts do the same with thiers. The best way of thought is to stop explaining what the bible never gives an explanation for and just allow it to speak without your own made up conclusions. Everything else sooner or later runs into problems if you truly study unbiasedly and ONLY stand on the Biblical statements because we as men think we can truly explain the infinite without a finite mind. Who do you say that I am..."You are the Son of the Living God"....Not one time that Christ ask him to explain how that works nor did he seek for him to know it.

God is a person, an individual, THE Person in whose _likeness_ we are all made. David Bernard & David Norris are brilliant men, and I pray God they both learn the absolute truth of the statement, "God is not a doctrine or theology, He is a person." I'm not saying they don't know that, I just don't hear that sentiment expressed. There is NO WAY one of us will ever be able to "prove", to the satisfaction of another, the personal nature of our 1 God & Saviour, Jesus Christ. That is why Jeremiah says when you seek Him with "all of YOUR heart" (not w/ your religion, or your "obedience", or theology, or right doctrine, etc. but with your HEART) He will be found (Jer. 29:13) May God continue to bless us all as we seek Him in Christ!

Another way would be history." In many debates / discussions about the person of our God, statements will be made like, "I will now make the argument for God FROM...(morality, design, existence, etc.)." That way highlights a flaw in our approach, IMO, in that it ignores the ONLY argument that matters - The argument from GOD.

@11:02 I think this is where oneness theology has a problem. The title Son of God is not only incarnational. In Hebrews 5:5, notice the connection of being a High Priest and being called God's Son. Solomon is called God's son as his king (1 Chronicles 17:13), Israel collectively is called God's son in Ex. 4:23. In Jesus, as God's only Son, is wrapped up the idea of King, priest, the true Israel of God who perfectly images the Father by fulfilling all these things in himself. “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, **and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”** Daniel 3:25 This was not the Father temporally manifesting as a Son here. The Son is clearly preexistent. Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, ***who sent His Angel*** and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! Daniel 3:28 This says GOD SENT His Angel, so we can rule out that this was a manifestation of the Father. Secondly, the "Angel" is the Angel of the Lord. The Hebrew word for Angel is _malak_ which means messenger. This is Jesus who appears as a theophany. The Word, the Son and Angel are the same personal subject. For cross reference, read Ex. 23:20 or Judges 13:3-22. But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this. John 8:40 When did Abraham see Jesus and not try to kill him? Genesis 18 & Genesis 15 (the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision SAYING...) Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, ***and what is His Son’s name,*** If you know? Proverbs 30:4 It was the Son who is said to ascend and descend (John 3:13), gather the winds, bound up the waters and establish the ends of the earth. The Father never descends, He remains unseen. The NT attributes these actions of the Father THROUGH the Son. If the Son is only about the incarnation, then these verses make zero sense.

The genuine distinction between Father and Son, and to a lesser extent the Spirit, is temporal in nature. Not an eternal distinction between persons, but rather a distinction between God’s eternal divine existence and His genuine human existence as the man Jesus. At the incarnation Yahweh (YHWH) assumed human nature and began a distinct and permanent existence as a man with a genuine human consciousness; this is literally the begotten Son of God, not a pre-existent second person but a child sired by the Spirit of God. At all times He thought and knew as a man, performing miraculous acts or possessing supernatural insight through the anointing of the Spirit of God, providing the perfect example of weak human flesh operating through power and anointing. Jesus’ prayers are then rooted in His humanity, His human consciousness. Notice where the distinction between Father and Son is found and the nature of the distinction. It is not between eternal persons (trinitarianism) nor is it found within Jesus, between His divine and human natures (Nestorianism), but it is beyond Jesus and existential in nature resulting from the incarnation. Interestingly, both Oneness and trinitarian theology say the same thing with respect to the incarnation. Both claim that it is at the incarnation that a divine person added human nature to His divine existence and began a genuine human existence as the man Jesus. It is the identity of the divine person we’re at odds over. Trinitarianism claims it is the second of three eternal divine persons, Oneness theology says it is the one divine person known only as Yahweh (YHWH). It's just Yahweh visible and Yahweh invisible. No different in principle than Yahweh visibly manifested as the angel of the LORD leading the children of Israel in the wilderness while Yahweh invisibly rides the glory cloud. Or the visible angel of the LORD preparing to slay Jerusalem and being spoken to by the invisible LORD (2 Samuel 24:16). In the incarnation Yahweh is visibly existing as a genuine man with a genuine human consciousness. Why emphasize this? Why is this important? For our salvation to be efficacious, the sacrifice must be as genuine as Adam's humanity. So then He must have a genuine human mind and will and willingly make a conscious decision to sacrifice Himself, just as Adam willingly chose to sin. Remember, Eve was deceived, Adam was not. Further, that sacrifice must have infinite value to secure the salvation of all mankind, not merely that of a single man. This is the hypostatic union. How does it work for a single divine being to exist both visible and invisible? It's the mystery of godliness. But think of how many times we see the angel of the LORD (visible) and the invisible presence and voice of the LORD in the same setting throughout the Old Testament. The incarnation is now Yahweh with a permanent visible existence, yet continuing to exist invisibly beyond all creation as He has always existed. Of course He delights in confounding the wise with this conundrum while rewarding the humble seeker.

@10:13 David says here that the very same God in heaven is the same presence we feel here on earth. In a sense I can agree, but what oneness theologians do is then say that is not another person but God's presence. So already oneness are recognizing that the Spirit is not the exact same as the Father. The problem is the bible differentiates the two. The Holy Spirit proceeds FROM the Father, John 15:26 and then testifies of the Son. And John 14:16 says the Father will give 'another' helper. Allos in Greek, meaning another of the same kind. I know oneness will quote verse 18 to imply the Holy Spirit is Jesus, but again, go back to what David says in this video. God's very presence is through His Spirit, which Christ is referring to being with them through the Holy Spirit. This verses don't line up with oneness theology at all. The Spirit has a hypostatic property of proceeding and the Father has the hypostatic property of sending and begetting. In other words, the Father does not proceed or beget from himself. The Father is the fountainhead of the Trinity from which He begets a Son and from whom the Spirit proceeds.

*Here are bible verses showing that the Father and the Holy Spirit are united in Jesus Christ bodily, which means that there is a Biblical Trinity; The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit united 3 as 1:* *John 14:10-11* so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. *John 10:30* 30 *I* and *my Father* are *one.* *2 Corinthians 4:19* 19 *namely, that God was in Christ* reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their transgressions against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. *Matthew 3:16* 16 When *He* had been baptized, *Jesus* came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and *He* saw *the Spirit of God* descending like a dove and alighting *upon Him.* *Colossians 2:9* 9 For *in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.* *Colossians 1:19* 19 For it pleased *the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;* *1 john 5:7* 7 For there are *three* that bear record in heaven, *the Father* , *the Word* , and *the Holy Ghost* : and *these three are one.* *Matthew 28:19* 19 Go ye *therefore* , and teach all nations, baptizing them *in the name of the Father* , and of *the Son,* and of *the Holy Ghost:* *1 Peter 1:2* 2 elect *according to* the foreknowledge of *God the Father* , through sanctification of *the Spirit,* unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of *Jesus Christ* : Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. And also other examples found in the book of Genesis where God describes Himself in the *plural* : *Genesis 1:26* 26 And *God* said, *let us* make man in *our image* *Genesis 3:22* 22 And *the Lord God said,* Behold, the man is become as *one of us* *Genesis 18:1-3* *Yahweh Appears to Abraham* 18 Then *Yahweh appeared to him* by the oaks of Mamre, while he was sitting at the tent door in the heat of the day. 2 And he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, *three men* were standing nearby; he saw, *and he ran from the tent door to meet them,* and *he bowed himself to the earth, 3 and he said, “My Lord, if now I have found favor in Your sight, please do not pass Your servant by.* *Isaiah 48:16* 16 “Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, *I was there.* And now the *Lord God and His Spirit* *Have sent Me.”*

Col. 2:2 "That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE MYSTERY OF GOD, AND OF THE FATHER, AND OF CHRIST." I say "...THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE MYSTERY OF GOD, AND OF THE FATHER, AND OF CHRIST." Acknowledgement of the mystery! Not an insight or revelation or comprehension of the mystery, but simply an acknowledgement of it. The eternal invisible God did manifest himself, in his fulness, into time and physicality. Don't try to explain that. Acknowledge the mystery!

Jeremiah 9:24 I seem to remember Him saying something like, _if you search for me with all your heart, you will find me._ Not with all your religion, or doctrine, or theology, or morality, or, believe it or not, even obedience and tithing but with your heart. Then you will find him. Religion is for the birds, Jesus is for those who want Him.

22:06 WE don't need three persons to explain that. However, God chose to express God in Scripture as one God who is three persons who are one with one another. Why do these guys want to express God differently than how Scripture expresses God? Is that not arrogant? Seems to me like that is arrogance against the only God.

Your going in the right direction! there is NO 'three persons on one God' ( No bible verse backs that up!) However what have you done with the Son? You say "There is NO son, its just a manifestation of the Father'! What! So there WAS an 'Abreham' & there WAS an 'Isaac' And much Faith was shown By Abreham for his willingness to sacrifice his son. A Faith even greater than that of God's, who simply used is omnipotent power to turn himself into a 'son'. It was just an illusion! It didnt reaaly happen! There was no son praying to his Father, pleading with him, with tears of blood! There was no real resurrection from the dead! No Christ in heaven pleading on our behalf as a high priest constantly for the forgiveness of our sins! How Sad! So you worship a God of unlimited POWER, but not of LOVE! There was no sacrifice, no ransom, no resurrection, not if you believe 'oneness'! Very SAD!

@@wjdyr6261 I am basically shocked! that you can reduce the whole account of 'Christianity' to a CHARADE! So There was no 'Father, blessing his son at his baptisim'. No angels that needed to strengthen him, No temptation in the wildnerness, no getting tired, hungry, no 'strong outcrues and tears' no pleading for help, no real death, no resurrection, no sitting at his Father's right hand! Its all a sort of 'puch & judy show' where one persons takes on the role of all the characters! A complete rejection of the bible account of The Son of God! It therefore is still a charade since the NT presents TWO seperate PERSONS speaking to each other! Jesus, speaking to his Father, and the Father speaking to & about his Son! ( Matt 3:16 John 12:28) "This is my Son the beloved, I have approved him!"..."Father Glorify thy name". Then came there a voice from heaven saying "I have both glorified it and will glorify it again" So according to you this coversation didnt really happend between TWO PERSONS who were SPEAKING to each other!
