After seeing this story, I wish we could had interacted or talk more to Dvalin -- after being freed from his corruption. He sounds like a wise yet gentle soul.
It really does sound that the genesis pearl is strongly connected to Khaenri'ah. Perhaps it really is the seed to the irminsul tree and is found only in the major abode of the tree itself. Underground.
....makes me think the black serpent in the Battle Pass cutscene is actually Durin; and the venom it is dropping on the pearl, more like a metaphor of Gold's corruption which made the Pearl lose its glow, mentioned in the text.
That is durin in that cutscene. The Gnostic Chorus cutscene overlaps with this story quite a bit. The more we learn the more I want to revisit the Gnostic chorus.
On top of all of the things just from this story, the reason of why would renedottir create such corrupted, killing beasts despite being a human gets the best of my curiosity. I just don't get it. as the dainy described, khaenri'ah was a good and successful nation and then celestia destroys the whole civilization and possibly the smartest person ever creates beasts to doom other civilizations watched over by celestia. And dainsleif was cursed for an eternal life despite being just a royal guard of the dynasty, was gold cursed or something too ? Or did she got away with it completely?can't wait to know more.
The fact that thos knight is confident enough let along prideful enough to defend monsdadt city from that giant wind dragon. That alone determines how brave knight of favonious is.
Going out on a limb here but, maybe Celestia sent the first crowned heir down into "The Kingdom of Darkness" aka Teyvat, to find the Genesis Pearl, and perhaps that heir was Gold. She became corrupted and believed she was the "Queen of the Kingdom of Darkness". With the 2nd crowned heir being possibly Albedo? We've heard several times, Chalk pursues Gold, and Albedo was tasked by Gold to find the truth of this world, perhaps she meant the Genesis Pearl?
It's actually incorrect I'm afraid cause Albedo himseld proves that he was made by Rhinedottir/Gold/Eden and he is a synthetic human being. Gold on the other hand was from Khaenri'ah who got corrupted by the Genesis pearl(I guess). She wasn't a heir from the kingdom of heavens that is for sure.
@@rajadarshidash1016 I'm aware Gold created Albedo, I didn't mean he was *literally* an heir from Celestia. Also do we have evidence Gold was actually from Khaenri'ah and didn't just simply live there for a period of time? As far as I'm aware we don't.
@@psychosam4736 She was an alchemist from Khaenri'ah which has been proven multiple times in both the story and the lore. Like Dainslief was the twilight knight of Khaenri'ah, she was similarly in some kind of higher position but in alchemy.
@@rajadarshidash1016 I don't think that necessarily debunks this, it's entirely possible that she infiltrated their ranks to gain information since they were an advanced civilization. Kaeya is from khaenri'ah and is the Cavalry Captain, so it isn't unheard of.
@@psychosam4736 Gold's origin is mysterious I agree but comparing her to the first heir of the kingdom of heavens is just doesn't make any sense according to the lore. Like I said, Gold was one among the many victims that got corrupted by the Gensis pearl(maybee). Her being the first heir is just out of point. Why would a divine being try to infiltrate Khaenri'ah to seek out genesis pearl? Secondly, we know that the first heir got corrupted by the Genesis pearl but there is nothing mentioned that how Gold got corrupted, rather from Kaeya and some books we get to know that her own greed and ambitions consumed her. She was also referred as the Great sinner from Khaenri'ah. There are no clues, not even hints that prove that she was a divine being. Ex- The travelers have something special in them which even the Gods can't do. Does this make them some kind of divine beings?
UUUMMMM, did anyone else notice that apparently many knights died during "bitter wars"?? When is that (has to be after Vanessa founded the knights, but i don't know when that is)? What wars? Can't be the rebellion or archon wars, so????
@@hanako_2137 no, Durin attacked during(or immediatly after? Within the same year, anyways) the cataclysm, and that is the point in which many knights had already died in "wars", so it can't be the cataclysm
It is the Cataclysm. Durin was indeed a part of the depicted battle, but was not present so far as we know of the entire period of time. The Cataclysm itself was not an overnight ordeal, although the destruction of Khaenri’ah itself is described to have been as quick.
Negative, for character profile stories, I turn them into my Origins videos. (Those are basically just the profile stories arranged into a narrative) if you haven’t seen them I’ve made them for Amber, Albedo, Klee, Fischl, Sucrose, Raiden Ei and Ayaka.

Can someone explained to me what the quotes: “an atrous sun befell its kingdom and a luminous pearl lost its glow” and, “Niveous silk grew dim and wheaten gold burned brilliantly no more” mean? ;-; They seem to be somehow important, but I am having a tough time understanding them
At first it crossed my mind “This dragon is having such a hard time, but can this dragon even speak people??” NO IT CAN’T Oh….that sucks😕…hey wait!! That means the dragon is an empath!! That’s so much cooler than speaking people!! No wonder it was having problems! 😁
