So glad I found your channel. I was searching for info on the Norge. Local guy has an '07 for sale I'm considering. Really like the relaxed, chat-style atmosphere you bring.
Lovely little Moto Morini. There are a few out here in Australia, mainly the 3 1/2 and the 500. Don't think I have ever come across the little red and white 350. Yours looks to be in remarkable original condition
Thanks for the nice words. Your loss is my gain but don't blame me if you have to extend the garage! Good luck with the Morini and take comfort from the fact that if the Benelli doesn't get to Pesaro then the Breva 750 will.
I hope the Benelli goes because it just seems poetic to me and a great adventure, I am sure if you did have a problem with it there would be an army of helpers to sort it out, Although the Breva would be a fantastic machine for those roads. Have an awesome trip.
The roads everywhere are terrible condition and speed camera's, ltn's ,ulez etc are all part of the plan to deter personal travel, but thats another story . Morini looks good .👍 My project Honda is now finished and ready for its test,No Italian wheels in my shed 😊
I think everybody would agree that the roads are a disgrace given the cost of motoring. Good to here your Honda is about ready, you may be better staying away from Italian bikes as the are very infectious and beautiful to own, therefor they get you addicted to them. 😊👍
We forget that these days many people are only coming to biking in their 40's or 50's so they have no experience of bikes from the 70's 0r 80's because they had no interest in bikes until their mid-life crisis. I'm more surprised at the amount of bikers that have been around a few years and never really been anywhere on their bikes. The black mountain pass is a lovely road but I think the problem started when it became "the Top Gear" road and started to attract every sports car and superbike owner from around the country, you get groups of Lambos screaming up their or a handfull of R1's and Fireblades and it was always going to be a recipe for complaints from walkers and then council/police action and it's more cost effective to install automatic postal revenue collectors that it is to have regular Police patrols. Nice new bike by the way I am a bit of a weirdo and I quite like that 80's styling.
I forgot about the Clarkson effect, kind of spoiled things though. You are right I have had bikes for years and don't take into account the fifty year old's are twenty years younger and a lot happened in that time. Nothing weird about 80's style it's just very easy to spot the era. Thank you for your comments.
@@oldguyinshed1703 haha it's very easy to forget the world moves on. We still talk about records and it doesn't occur to us that there are young adults now who don't even know what a CD is let alone a record......the joys of getting old lol
I was following this Morini on Ebay ...almost put a bid on it ...the K2 in my opinion the nest of the Morini s nicasil plated bores sensible riding position lovely bike ...interesting that those to chaps had not heard of Moto Morini ...nor had Freddie Dobbs ! Especially as the Morini is still being made with a china made bike ....hey ho safe happy riding .
I am very pleased with it so far, obviously there is work to do but there always is with forty year old machinery. I have forgiven the the chaps for not knowing the brand after reading @Mike-T120 comments he is absolutely right regarding the time line of many bike owners.
Yep old guy, you are infected with the motovirus, there is not a cure fore 😆, the breva 750 is, like you say, a wonderful motorcycle, it is light, nimble, like it a lot. My rosetta (name of my breva 750) is in repair now because electric issues….but she’s gonna be alright. It is really a wonderful moto, had a lot of motorcycles in my life , rosetta is the one that stays, never gonna change her for an other.
Both myself and a pal who has one think they are one of the most underrated bikes on the market, which in a way is a good thing as they remain affordable.
I think its a god send as my flexibility isn't what it was. Mine is a hydraulic model which basically is a foot operated jacking system. I have no idea who made it as there is no brand name on it, I purchased from a tool supply company and I guess it's Chinese.
