Want to be there the next time I'm testing new tech like this? Or maybe you just think I'm a super cool gamer? Follow me on Twitch! www.twitch.tv/tuuvas
I think this seems to be what I'm after I'm not vibing as much as I thought with the controller and this could be a good answer. Not massively expensive doesn't take up loads of desk space it's just going to be camera movement that seems to be the issue. And for when I jump into msfs I think would be perfect
TrackIR is expensive, and still made of goddamn plastic. But man it is the best piece of tech I've bought for Arma, DCS, ATS, Elite dangerous, and Star Citizen. Headtracking is fantastic.
@@theeldestrelic it is. However issue I have is I have something called rotational vertigo if I move my head quick or too much I get sick. So I've tried track hat, and tobii eye tracker (but the eye tracker was a bit unreliable so used like a combo ) it's so so so annoying as I know it's what I need
alright..... what kind of "gooo" did you put in there Tuuvas? 🤣 wait a minute.... that isn't a gamepad...... who are you!? What did you do to our Tuuvas? Give him back!
Great Review Tuuvas :) Just curious on 2 things, mainly: 1. The deflection angle per axis. Did you have to apply any curve to the roll and pitch axis in DCS? if yes, what curve values did you set for the URSA Minor? 2. How's the plastic quality of the grip?
1. No, everything you saw here was without any curve in the axis tune settings. Including the inverted F-16C AAR. 2. Plastic quality is good. There's no flexing in the grip and it stays rock solid throughout use. If any the hat switches are a little floaty.. like they're sitting on a silicone membrane or something. It doesn't bother me though
Hey, Tuuvas, another great video. I have a question, so I have a modifier set to my xbox controller, which is the share button and bound to control button on keyboard but whenever I press the modifier or the share button it takes a picture or starts recording a video is there any way to stop this button from taking pictures? Xbox gamebar is disabled. Thx
@@Tuuvas sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you have any new recommendations for a gamepad for DCS? Your last video on the subject is a year old, and I just wanted to know if anything has changed? Thanks.
I highly recommend getting the Flydigi Vader 4 Pro. It is my new mainstay controller for DCS and gamepad gaming in general. Check out my review of it and you'll get to know all the features available on it
@@Tuuvas Flydigi's Vader series of pads are brilliant. Bought my Vader 3 pro on the back of what you told me. From what I've seen the Vader 4 Pro has quite a few QOL updates. Just wish you could add some heft to it.
@@sgtjonzo it is a copy part for part. Winwing took the evo and downgraded the electronics to mass produce at a lower cost but worse quality. look at a teardown or the vkb response.
@@Mike-qp2ot there is a video from a previous reviewer that did a teardown of both, the gimbal is the same design down to the bolt positions. Only slight plastic thickness difference here and there. But it's the same mechanism. The VKB gimbal fits right into the WW housing, that's how similar they are.
thanks for the review! recently i picked up DCS after seeing your controller guide on it and it's so exciting! right now i'm just getting used to the game, while struggling to fly the su25t, but i enjoy it, so thank you for your guide. i may get this stick if i'll keep playing for some time, just to make sure it's worth investing time and money into it
This is a blatant copy of tht vkb evo Theree bound to be a legsl case here as they literally copied the pincher gimble directly from thr vkb Evo gladiator Extremely Scummy. And ill not support it
@@vondalo5504 It is an exact copy with downgraded parts look for a teardown or at vkbs official response. Overall its a part per part copy of the evo with flat out worse electronics and worse form factor base. It is not recommendable because winwings customer service is worse than vkb's
