I knew of this building, but hadn’t seen pictures of the interior before. As apartments, these rooms would have been very small, but I doubt they would’ve gone begging for buyers! An apartment in Frank Lloyd Wright’s only skyscraper would likely be a hot property. I would love to stay a night here sometime. Thanks for the video.
Oh my goodness, another brilliant design by FLW. Yes at first, the mind of a conventional thinker is like , “ what the heck” but once you’ve lived in a FLW type dwelling, I think it’s hard to go back to squares. Note: corrected error I live in a FLW inspired dwelling and it’s been challenging to decorate. It reminds me of a motor home, or space ship, where everything has its place, and every place is perfectly thought out. If you are a very creative person you might find his designs *too perfect* to add upon. They just make sense, even the small bathrooms, up to the corky corners and high low ceilings.
It's unfortunately located in dumpy Bartlesville Oklahoma. The town is filled with homeless, meth heads, and crime. Everything around the building is abandoned. No one wants to stay in a overpriced hotel with only one functioning elevator and no heat or ac for $130 a night. It's laughable
