Very insightful! Indicators are mental crutches. I used them for years and my results are never consistent. Once I got rid of them but candles, 2 MAs, and volume, my profitability and win loss ratio are skyrocketed, sweetest of all is my results are consistently positive! Indicators are useless, lagging, and actually hurting your trading. You do need a reliable price/chart pattern to trade profitably and consistently. Thank you, Ross, for your education!
Anything published is worthless. Why would you sell an indicator that works? it'd be like selling a money making machine. No sense. Also if it becomes public it will stop working. This is just math. I share your experience with indicators, but that was before I kniew how to get live market data and real time processing with my own algorithms.

@@DaytradeWarrior so ROSS....you are using EMAs for support? what about the trigger candle and then the next entry candle trading above that prior candle's high method? or do you only want those candle entries to occur after pulling back to the EMA's and do you prefer the 9 or 20 for the pullback?

Great video! I took a break from trading (and your vids) a year back due to taking a large loss which opened my eyes to the fact that I had no idea what I was doing. As you do this education, Show people they don't need to focus on large gains. All they need to do is become consistent in their trades. !00 consistently a Day is 25200 a year. It is easy to make 100. If you compound daily a 1k account 2% in growth, and we know more is possible, 1000 becomes a bit over 64000.

I really like this guy, first time someone is honest, methodical, concise, clear and talks through every situation. MAs, RSI and Volume never fails, as long as you know how to use them together. MAs give you the direction, RSI gives you the strength (and hint of possible continuity or change of direction) and the Volume is self explanatory. Without Volume, there's no trade.
a beginner here with half an account blown up. I wish I found you earlier. This is exactly what I needed! I need consistency and discipline and a track record to increase my position size.
I did not get to watch live had to watch later in the day. I have no idea why, but when you moved the camera close and said there is no Holy Grail, for some reason that statement tried to bring tears to my eyes. It filled me with emotion. I wish I knew why, perhaps I will figure it out later. From watching your other videos, I have been using the same indicators and like you said, most I do not pay much attention to. I do like to see VWAP on the start rather than the end of a run. The one thing I have noticed making or losing money seems to depend on the day. Some days break out trading works and some it does not. I use the same strategy if I am trading small caps or large, just depends on the day which seems to be moving the best with the least risk. its not about finding the magic indicator. its about using them all together to more informed prediction. it sometimes even comes down to assigning points based on strength and time frame of bullish signals and then tallying that up.
Hi! I am learning and I came up with the same indicators by just trial and error. The only one additional one I added was the 50, which really does make a huge impact. Nice to know I am on the right track. Now if I can master active trader 😅

What about the spread on these fast moving low float stocks. Sometimes you will have a 10 cent spread...how do you get a good entry using a limit order? If you use a market order you will get filled at the ask and will already be down 10 cents once the order fills. I use TD Ameritrade to day trade what broker do you recommend for daytrading and getting good execution on quick trades? Thanks and love your videos Ross👍

Wonderful Ross!! Just one suggestion. Try with SMA 50 (the simple moving), it is better than the EMA200. specially in 5min chart, though also in 1min is a very good signal as exit of the trade mostly.
Have studied technical analysis for 20 years and I agree with virtually everything you stated. I would have entered at slightly differently levels...slightly lower than your choice in the uptrend, but overall, your method is spot on.
@@DaytradeWarrior one qualifier...You mentioned that a third pull back is often less dependable...that depends on the time frame. If using two minute bars, there will be greater number of pull backs, especially one bar pull backs ..as one views higher and higher timeframes the number of pull backs decrease. Thus you must observe your own time frame Yu use and the particular vehicle Yu trade to determine the number of tradeable pull backs
@@waltermorris5786 dont try to lecture the lecturer with basics,ross makes millions each year. His teachings are always in context with his own strategy of which is not for everyone - super fast executions, most people would be stilll be thinking if they are going to enter a trade and he is already in and out a few times. However his teachings in general terms are gold for everyone to learn and be able to make your own strategy

Ross gave you a holy grail system in a 3 part slide about half way through this video. When he has bad days it’s because he’s trading in the moment and deviating from his system. So you really don’t have to look for another system, you need to trade enough until you can overcome your emotions and stick to the system he’s outlining or one that works for you.
I strongly recommend Ross's book. I read this book in October 2021 and it kickstarted my day trading. I traded in the morning before work and found I was up 50% in March and switched to live trading.
When waiting for a candle to provide confidence to buy, do you wait for the candle to fully form on the 1 minute chart? Or do you mean that if you see it at least temporarily spike ‘during’ the 1 minute that is good enough
Ross, can the indicators work in all market conditions? Or do you have the indicator combination(s) tailored for specific market conditions such that when the market goes into recession as an example?
Ross... Your videos are awesome. The 2nd and 3rd pullback buy entries you mention are actually in consistent with the Elliot wave. Reason why it's called 5 waves. At that point the stock slows and ends its run, like clockwork.. Makes more sense now.
@@DaytradeWarrior When you get a chance. Look at GRRR on Friday. Your classic flat top breakout you talk about happened on the 5 min chart between 10:15 and 10:45 and the classic 2 buy entries before the fade if you include the first break at 10:15..
Great video and it’s fully appreciate,,I learn more and more every time I watch your videos!!!… I do have some questions though… You said you generally look for a 2 or 3 red candle pulled back formation Close to the 9moving average as a good indicator to enter a trade,,I noticed some of your examples the pull back consisted of only one red candle with a longish lower-wicks… My question is when you were entering a trade with only one red candle with a longish Wick, where do you place your stop-loss? on the body of the Red candle or on the wick of that candle? … Hopefully I did not ask/Pose a very confusing question🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Andre, depending on the setup it Ross will place his stop at the low of the prior candle or at break even once the stock moves in the direction of the trade.

Hi Ross. 2 weeks ago i decided to quit gaming and start teaching myself how to daytrade as a side hustle. I am glad i found you, because all the forex guides from youtube are so messy and not so in depth. I have using tradingview but its not really for stocks right? does it even have lvl2? Since i am on budget i cant afford to pay the monthly cost of tradingview or lightspeed. Any idea of what other budget platform to recommend, webull maybe? How do you backtest this method anyway? On forex i can rewind on tradinview (sucks when on free version, lowest with 1d chart), but with your method i need to search for a new high volume stock daily. And is there other way to get an alternative stock scanner? I know tradingview have stock screener, maybe you could make some guide on how to tweek that so i and others can find the right stocks? My wife isnt very fond of me going in for this daytrading, but i think i can do this. For my familys sake. Thanks for all the stuff that you are sharing. Best of luck :)
This may very well be the best training video on youtube. My perception is that Ross is real, and he’s honest. He’s not pushing a Get Rich Quick scheme, rather he discloses the risks.
11:35 yeah, so I've had thoughts of historical data use and I think an algo shouldn't need historical data to be build, just to be tested. I'm setting up a realtime run of some data and hope it can show my algos are good. My idea behind back testing, is it should work with the real time timing of data coming in. IMHO 15:30 yep, that's why I'm building my own system, from the ground up,based on what you taught me when I did sign up. I'm both a low level and high level developer, so I can do this but, it's a lot of hard work. Lol, it's all uphill baby. But I've been there before as a developer.
