The red kick loop is Haehyun's best combo for almost every situation, so learning this one combo will help you meaningfully play the character! Used to play Pot in Xrd and play him in Strive now. I’m so excited to go back to playing Xrd but playing two versions of Pot doesn’t seem too appealing. Planning on really learning Haehyun I think and this will be permanently bookmarked. Great stuff and looking forward to more!

Such a fantastic video. I dont even play Kum, but like to learn other characters to help my friends, and timing the red kick used to feel awkward as i was timing it in my head.

does this work on heavy characters as well? i've done it on dizzy and sol just fine, but 2 kicks seems to be the maximum i can get on kum haehyun for some reason.

Yes, you can get 3 red kicks on Super Heavy characters like Haehyun but it's just very tight. Two is usually fine for them to start with. The optimal kick loop for super heavies actually requires a technique called Shishiinken, which I'll cover in a future video.

The input may actually need to be slower then! The DP input can be done pretty slowly, and then you have some time to add the back input afterwards. Other than that, it's just going to be practice -- I haven't used Dpad so not sure if there's anything else that might help!

@@lordradiance2530 Dash jumping might actually put Sol too close at times which might mess up red ball oki afterwards. But yes, you do have to delay the jump a tiny bit.

@@yoomineltv oh yeah and, sorry to be asking another set of questions through youtube nonetheless, but the loops feel way weirder to do as my opponent is close to the corner, should i be doing something to circumvent that

@@lordradiance2530 no problem at all, happy to help! Usually when you do a kick close to the corner they'll just bounce back to mid screen after one kick, so you can't loop multiple kicks. In those cases, you could either airdash j. SH or jump and j. SH after they get bounced off the wall. Haehyun has better corner combos but they get really nasty to execute, so that's what I recommend starting with!

@@tungtung2728 The FD and extra buttons were just me kind of moving around haha, the input is just 623 K (hold) 4 or 1 (hold). Other than the timing tip, it just takes practice to get multiple inputs in a row!
