Alan good to see u again! I notice u break off a lot on hook sets. I found something this year about straight braid and Texas rigs with tungsten. The tungsten will quickly "fray" the braid right next to the knot where it slides back and forth repeatedly. I peg my weights with tungsten or use a flouro leader. Hope u see this and it helps u bro cause I know the frustrations of breaking off all the time! Tight lines bro!

I started using that tipe of lure from Berkley after see one of your videos a few years ago and yes it's good in catching big bass , eventually my bigger one - around ten pounds- was catched with one of those in solid green color
