So many things cool about this...I came to this same protocol, drawing swing to swing and moving it up if the retracement doesn't swing back....always finding 61.8% as the structural point with most efficiency. I personally use .12% as my target because it's slightly more than 1R but still doesn't have to make new high. The other REALLY cool thing about this I discovered was that if you draw a gann box or any box on the FVG/Displacement on say an 1h chart, you'll see that 50% mark in the FVG is almost ALWAYS the 61.8% retracement when drawn swing to swing like Stoic is explaining. When you can see 2 totally different approaches have a harmonious agreement, you KNOW something is right. THIS is it ladies and gentlemen.

The most struggling part is where we start drawing our fib. Entry on the pullback to 0.618 is not mechanical when we choose our starting point differently every time.
@HX3ne
@HX3ne 17 дней назад
The highest probability ranges(swing points) that have protected highs/lows are the swings that follow a larger timeframe higher high or lower low. For example, if a higher high is put in, the swing low that is put in immediately after is the low where you would draw the fib.

This video made perfect sense until I tried to backtest it on the charts, and almost nothing wins. So while yes, this might be a mechanical setup, you still have to use some discretion to know when to start drawing your fib (and in what direction). What would be insanely helpful is a video with plenty of backtesting examples, just going day by day and looking for what would interest you, rather than a static look at an example that is already set up and ready for analysis. Thanks for what you're doing!

Love your videos! Would be amazing if you could do a backtesting video of this/refined SBS strategy! Because for me it's still a bit difficult to know when to modifiy the fib retracement when it's moving up without retracing that far. Depending on the leg i'm looking this exact pattern will work, but if i'd trace the fib from a lower/upper leg of course it's different, so a backtesting video would be really welcome :)

I have watched all your videos many times and I really admire you. I take you as an example, but I cannot help but say that some aspects of you affect me negatively. Because in X you only share the installation examples you have won. This puts me in the mindset that I have to be flawless. I know that he always does what he does to be useful, but I couldn't help but mention it. For beginners like me, he has a bad trait of copying every move of the person he takes as an example. At first, I even believed that I needed to get 12-15 installs a day. Until you explain in your video that this is not the case. I love you Stoic, please keep producing.

I came back to comment again because I was amazed by this great content. I really don't think there is a system that is more mechanical and where emotions would be zero. My biggest shortcoming was that I missed the position because I did not see a flip from 0.5 on the retreats. My second biggest shortcoming was not taking profit in the right place even if I saw a flip. Now the question marks are gone. There is only market structure, 0.618 and 0.236. Again thank you Stoic. Good video bro but as a profitable trader myself "Adopt the belief that current trade most likely will not work out." Is not a good belief to have, if you believe that you'll start taking trades that don't work out. All you need to know is that base on your trade plan if you follow it then you are shifting the odds in your favor because you know your edge works over a series of trade. So a better belief is " The odds are in my favor". You're not certain you just know it's more likely than not to work in your favor.
