Im not gonna lie i just got whopped by a level 7 Rick and decided that was enough Multiversus for me today.

A quick note for anyone who's curious: the Jerry Meeseeks (the down one, aka golf club) will swing at the first opportunity presented to him. He waits for a set duration until swinging, but if you knock the enemy into him or a projectile comes his way (as Nakat showcased) he'll swing when it/they come in range. I have to imagine that he's gonna be the primary use for the "Bit of a Stickler Meeseeks" perk, since setting him up and then knocking them into him is the easiest way to combo a meeseeks other than maybe some links into the up swinging meeseeks. (I also find it kinda funny that he's the best user of the perk since... well... it's the golfer meeseeks. If you're a R&M fan you get it.) Sorry for the dissertation but I've just been really excited for Rick and now that he's out I wanna spread/consume as much knowledge as possible to become the Rickest Rick I can be. There is a portal + meseeks method I love to pull off. Set your portal gun like this on the map: O O l < you Then summon a meseeks to go through the ground level portal (left side of ground portal) which makes the meseek caught in a loop which gives you cover for you and your teammates. You can spawn 2 meseeks into the portal if you like, the flammable portal perk (I forgot what it’s called) really helps a lot.

He's a great addition and top tier I reckon. His taunt is absolute gold as well. Just need the Pickle Rick skin now 😂

i like what they did with meseeks compared to the leaks. i think they had a lot of his normals meseeks related, but having it as one ability with a lot of uses was v smart

Rick is, by far, the character I’ve been having the most fun with. What’s weird is that I feel that he’s more difficult to play than Morty but I clicked with Rick so well off the bat lol def looking forward to cranking out more online matches with him

pro tip you can use your meek, thingy to go through the portal and make a loop...

He’s stupid nuts. He’s so fun and his kit is awesome.

Small tip, Down special near edge, then send meseeks through it, their massive hit box forces the opponent to use both jumps to avoid them and if the enemy manages to dodge up through, there's still a chance they will get raindoged, just overall downspecial can be incredible versatile for edge guarding so don't be to afraid to throw it out

Nakat is as fast as RDC. Lol.

Havent seen it being mentioned but if you neutral dodge after summoning a meeseeks and not inputting a direction, it says there indefinitely. The next time you summon a meeseeks and order it to attack the previous meeseeks attacks as well. Allows for a lot of setups and coverage.

Fun fact with the meeseeks. You can summon one and jump and it will stand there until you do another Meseeks input and they both go off same time.

When I was watching the blaster part of the showcase video my mind immediately went to Fox

I'm not sure if it's a game mechanic that I'm unaware of but ever since this patch I've noticed people can literally dodge in the middle of their attacks. And no I don't mean dodge cancel I mean literally get invincibility frames while doing an attack that isn't dodge cancallable and still hitting.

You don't need to time the gold club it swing if someone gets near and deflects projectiles.

NOW THIS IS A TOP TIER CHARACTER🔥🔥🔥 High skill, high reward, and even tons of fun. Not BROKEN (people gotta quit saying everyone is broken smh) just a great character. So much better than the last couple of characters on launch

Hey Nakat, the audio mixing made it kind of hard to hear you in this video, it might help to turn the game volume down. I also wanted to mention that the uncharged air up special kind of functions like Velma’s, it’s insanely good and spikes people who are below you, which is what I think the move will be used more for.

I was playing 2s with a friend and managed to accidentally come up with a useful setup idea with rick, i shot the charged neutral off the stage and then knocked the enemy off the stage with sair, flinging them into the blast that pushed them further and into the blast zone It could work as a gimp too but idk I only pulled it off once

up and side special are definitely gettin a nerf ASAP

So probably not very viable in a real match. But I found you can place the portal behind your opponent but I found you can place the portal behind your opponent, send a meeseeks at him, and jump off the cliff all the way to the screen edge. When the me seek shoves him through, he teleports to instant death. In an actual match I set the portal down sometimes ahead of time, so if I'm knocked into a bad position, I can teleport straight to it without freezing in place and leaving myself open, or my ally can hop through it to get to me. And in the chance that an enemy is knocked through it, it really mixes them up.
