I have Tom ford lost cherry. I sprayed solinotes tonka bean on at target one day. The dry down is pretty much exactly the same. Solinotes is like $20. Save your money!
@@vanydakhiev3910 I have Oakcha, Alt, and Oil Perfumery’s versions of Lost Cherry and Alt is my favorite. I have the original, too, and did a side by side comparison of each- *on MY skin* Alt won, but the other two are great, too
Montagne Parfums' Parfum De Cerise.... $40 bucks including tax and shipping. All natural ingredients. 6+ hour performance (and maceration helps OD). 1:1 compared to TF Lost Cherry, and I wear LC almost daily. Imo, this is actually better than Lost Cherry cuz the dry down has more depth and range. 4 sprays gets me between 11-13 hours, and through a night of clubbing (my folks and I dance), AND when I get home at 5am, i still smell it on me.
It’s interesting how differently people interpret scent. I totally respect your reviews and judgement. I don’t always have the same taste and that’s ok. Nest Indigo I tried years ago. I blind bought it and was shocked when I sprayed it and I was overwhelmed by the scent of room deodorizer. I can’t get past it. However, I’m thrilled with the Oakcha reps and can’t wait to order.
Mimic Compound 79 - EXACT Tom Ford Cherry - it lasts all day (TF doesn’t last at all) and it gets better at the end of the day - my husband hates perfume in general (stuffs him up and makes him sneeze) even said it smells good - he said TF was “just ok”. $12.99 at TJ Maxx for 1.7 ounces.
The Bal d’Atrique dupe from Oakcha is amazing. I get so many complements when wearing this fragrance. I hate the name “gold gem”, but the scent is to die for.
So many present day perfumes have rubbish names which put me off trying. I my mum's day they had glamorous names like L'Heure Bleu, Shalimar but those type of perfumes don't suit the present day.
Thanks for this video, Yana! We are all out here trying to watch the pennies, yet working hard, so we deserve to have nice things! I will say the Oil Perfumery Coco Noir dupe-fantastic! Thank you for the tips and tricks and reviews of high-end scents 🤗
I've bought from The Fragrance Shop for years and you are the first person I've heard mention the company. They're definitely worth it I have amazing dupes from them.
@@littleninja481 Hey yes, I had to look at all the samples I have from them to remember all I've tried. I have mostly used older/discontinued dupes from them like Baby Phat Goddess, Gucci Rush (before I realized it was reformulated and available again but I still just use the dupe), Body by Victoria, DKNY Pure, Ralph Lauren Hot, RL Cool. They also have some JHAG and Le Labo dupes that I've sampled that are great. Unfortunately, I do not always have the original but to my nose, they are close, if not spot on, and capture the essence. They have a great sample option where you get 6 and then a voucher toward another purchase. They also have 30% off right now for Father's Day but often do discounts and you can use your voucher with the coupon. The originals I've tried have been good too - they especially do vanilla very well across the spectrum.
I’ve loved Nest Indigo for years! It actually came out before Vilhelm launched and Dear Polly came out. haven’t tried much from Vilhelm but I love what I have tried and the bottles and presentation are stunning.
I used to dislike BBW Rose because I had BBW Perfect Peony. Then I decided to start panning Rose and enjoy Peony in the spring and… now I prefer Rose? Peony is too sweet for me now kinda 😅
I buy it all the time since my gym friend introduced me to it in 2019!😄😄🌹🌹🌹 Correction: only in the body cream form. I do not buy body sprays nor perfumes from BBW.
Thank you Yana. Your suggestions are very helpful for vegan subscribers, as Byredo and Tom Ford are not cruelty free but Oakcha is cruelty free. Will try both Oakcha scents you recommend.
Love the white sweater! Personally I’m a fan of Angel Share so I’m trying all the dupes. So far I’ve found the Oakcha dupe and Khamrah from Lattafa. Working through those to see if they last ❤️
The DUA brand smells nice but it is the FIRST fragrance that makes me nauseous every time I wear it. I had to stop layering it with Angel Share and just go ahead and buy me the refill bottle as my backup. I love Oakcha. How’s their dupe for AS?
@@leilani_808 Oackcha dupe if AS has lasted about an 2 hours on me 🥺. I’m not impressed so far, but Khamrah has worked well. My only concern is it stained my pink top and I can see an oil stain. So I have to put it on my skin, wait for it to dry and then put on clothes
They say Kismet Angel by Maison Alhambra is also a good dupe. Currently unavailable in my small country (Hungary) but I am watching and buying as soon as it is available again :-)
The Lattafa one is really nice.I wasn't aware it was a clone.I like Middle Eastern perfumes. They have one called Velvet Rose. It smelled to me, like Jo Malone Velvet Rose and Oud Intense with a increased rose note. It also lasted much longer and silage was phenomenal. JM ihas lovely scents. But for the price the projection, silage and longevity are Not worth the price tag
I was sent Gold Gem as the free mystery fragrance from Oakcha. I looked it up and saw it was a Dupe of Byredo's Bal D'Afrique. I haven't smelled the original, but I remembered you really liking it. I love it! It smells so gorgeous. I was literally sniffing my clothes in deep breaths ❤😂😂😂
Dossier Floral Marshmallow is IDENTICAL to Killian Love Don’t Be Shy. I own the real one but it’s so expensive that I use it sparingly. It’s my favorite scent though so I searched for a dupe so I can still have that fragrance without any anxiety lol. When I say that it’s identical, I mean it. $39 for a large bottle is much less painful to pay than $250.
I just received amber rouge by Orientica because I kept hearing that it was the perfect BKR540 dupe and it’s just not it. It’s sickening sweet and very medicinal, it gave me the biggest headache. MFK fragrance are so pricey but they blend so well, it’s worth it IMO. I totally agree with the BBW rose mist- it’s so good to have handy and airy. True young rose scent that is mass appealing
You’re so right! I’ve bought so many BR Extrait dupes it’s cost me more than a new bottle of the real thing… it’s a waste of money. The real thing is worth the sting to the pocket 😢
For me, this is the case with the majority of dupes and clones. People will allow the bargain and proximity to give the scent more credit than it deserves.
Nice to see my beloved Rose getting recommended again ❤ I’ve been praising it non stop since I got it. My dear sister has to listen to my rambling almost every evening 🤷♀️ Can’t help though. She loves it to so I decant it for her. The price is 🤑 and the bottle is huge. This is the first time I dare to overspray a little since it’s not so long lasting. I’m down about 10ml after 2 weeks. The fastest compared to any other fragrance of mine. Know about it through you. I love you so much 💓💓💓
I'm a 64 year old man and in the spring and summer I lightly spray the Bath & Bodyworks Rose on myself for a more fresh spring scent. I get lots of complements.
Add to this list, Rifaaqat - Paris Corner's highly affordable clone of YSL's Babycat. All I can say is WOW. You won't believe how delicious this is for fifty bucks (for 80 ml.) In Canada, Babycat, at $370 for 125 ml., is FIVE TIMES the volumetric price of Rifaaqat A gorgeous, dry, slightly smokey vanilla.
Great reviews that I believe are honest, which is most appreciated! You really get into the details, which is so important and really helps with decision-making. You have a great, friendly, relatable manner and speaking voice. Thank uou Yana! ❤
Superdrug layering lab body mist in sweetie = la belle by Jean Paul gautier Discovered literally 2 minutes after buying the perfume for like £70 and then looking for a body spray to top up during the day. Smells pretty identical!
Aurora is dead on for BR540 as well as Liquid Gold (Gentle Fluidity Gold). I ran out of the originals and was floored. Julianna Perfume made me reconsider my spending habits 😂
Oh I am so here for this! So appreciate your thoughts on good dupes! I just reviewed my first dupes from DUA and have to say I am really impressed with their impression of YSL Babycat and EBK Deep n Desire Yacht. Their Electric Cherry was ok. Super excited to try some of your suggestions! 😊
This is absolutely helpful, Yana. I trust your nose 👃!!! The Bal d’Afrique dupe sounds like a must have for me. And the Tom Ford Cherry as well - which I sprayed on myself recently at Sephora. Wow. It was so nice, but out of the question price wise. Will def try this dupe. ❤
Although I’ve never smelled the original Angelique Noir, I just love Red Carpet Affair! I got it when they used to include free samples and immediately purchased a bottle!
I, too, have never smelled Angelique Noir, but it sounded so nice I ordered an even less expensive dupe from StarGaze. It is also called Aurora, and was recommended by another fragrance influencer. Really like it. Happy. Got my first complement by a stranger today for my scent. A man in the grocery store asked me what I was wearing. Spelled out Mon Guerlain for him. My husband stood there and was surprised. He never gives me compliments.
Oakcha won me over when they were the first out of Oakcha, Alt, Dossier to finally be smart and make Sol Janerio 62. I purchased the body spray from Sol Janerio and I couldn't smell it 20 seconds later. I sold it for what I paid and ill never buy from them again. I was so disappointed. They never have good sales. There is no reason besides greed for that because they are huge. Nope, not for me
I'm very grateful you exist, I was just wondering if you could do a more experimental video, so like, something like spraying both on each wrist and seeing how it wears out and dries down throughout the day
I love the Bath and Bodyworks Rose and Ivy. This is so beautiful and it lasts! Sillage and longevity are off the charts! I am looking for dupes to any of the Guerlain Vanilla fragrances (Cuir Beluga, VANILLE PLANIFOLIA EXTRAIT 21, Angelique Noir are the big FOUR!) CUIR BELUGA has me addicted. I love Tom Ford Rose Prick and Lost Cherry - also the Tobacco Vanille. I am obsessed with vintage 60s, 70s 80s fragrance but the ones from befor the turn of last century are masterpieces. I have to stop obsessing or i wont have food money this month. Eh, who needs to eat?
Also, Love don’t be Shy Extreme by Oil Perfumery is DELICIOUS! Long lasting and amazing . That one and the Coromandel one are my 2 faves by them . Blanche is amazing too Love oil Perfumery , they do it right ❤❤
I have Yves Saint Laurent "Black Opium" at home, I also have Câline "Fleur Noire" at home (Might only be available in Germany or Europe) and it's not like I can't detect a difference... but I actually prefer Fleur Noire for the slight almond note it adds to the scent. Otherwise, it's the same.
I can tell you that I have tried their version of Hypnotic Poison. I think they did a great job of during that... 85 to 90% similar to the real one. I recommend doing the "choose your Fragrances sample set"... that's how I found the Hypnotic Poison one to be a really very good dupe. I got other scents that way from them, only problem is that I hadn't tried the original to know how similar those other ones are.
Can someone please let me know if there is a good dupe for giorgeo armani si intense.. the blk bottle.. gotta be the blk bottle.. they don't make it anymore 💔 my late husband bought it for me and I really need that sent!
3 by miimmiic is SO ACCURATE TO BURBERY HER And also a perfect flowerbomb dupe is dossiers dupe for flowerbomb I tried miimmiics flowerbomb dupe and it seems like the florals are standing out more than the sweetness unless you combine it with Ariana Grandes mod vanilla then it smells exactly the same
Really good dupes for Tom Ford - Lost Cherry : ALT Cherry Smash or Dossier Ambery Cherry. Both these dupe brands are cheap, smell spot on to the original and ship internationally:). They have okay longevity however they may not last as long as the original or some other brands.
Lovely video, just stumbled across your page. Thank you for introducing me to Julianna’s perfumes, never had heard of them. Going to try Aurora as I’m still on the fence about a FB of BCR. Also looking at their Greenwich village dupe, long waitlist so they must be good!
Greenwich village is nice! It's not exactly a dupe but it has a similar scent profile though. It's fresher. From Bond no. 9 smell alikes of Br540 I personally prefer Tribeca
Nice video ! 🤗 Intreged by Club de Nuit ! I'm actually waiting for my Oil Perfumery to be delivered 😍 I have been a little disapointed with Okcha for Gypsy Water, I find it leaning manly. Wood sage is also very different from the original don't you think ? I just discovered that Julianna's Perfume doesn't ship in Europe just after I saw "Oud Jaune intense" and "Ylang in Gold" are the next launches 😭
Do you know or have any recommend for any perfume that is similar to bvlgari gold roman night? I really love that smell. but when I want to repurchased I was told that it has been discontinued.
Oh! Idk if you’ve heard of NEST passiflora? But it’s THEE most beautiful scent! It’s so green, but deep and heavy almost like an oil-perfume. It’s discontinued. But there’s nothing like it out there! If you do ever find it, can you help me find a dupe? ( or someone in the comments? lol! ) Until then.. I’ll be on resale sites looking for bottles less than $200, and drowning in my tears 🤣🫠😇
So CDNI takes OUT the SweetTart rose we have in Delina? Why would they do that. 🤦🏼♀️ The SweetTart rose contrasting with the soft vanilla powder was the only thing keeping it interesting. Thanks for the review though because rose IS my scent profile, so I was def eyeing CDNI. But a soft sweet powdery rose with vanilla has been done to death. I have bottles and bottles of roses, either soft, sweet, aquatic, realistic, green, all of the above, etc. But none yet with that sour/tart rose. Thats the only reason Delina turned my head. Oh I love playing the layering game with BR540 too. Its the best for giving anything a lighter, airy smell. Flowerbomb, for instance, always gets a little BR540 from me (because it really should've been named PatchouliBomb). It airs out some of that patchouli without interfering too much with the rest of the scent.
I really, really like mine too. But I hated the customer service from that company, enough where I won’t buy from them again. And it is sad because I do really like that fragrance and a couple others. Thankfully, I have found them new being resold on other websites. I may try the Oakcha version this time around when mine is out.
I just order the Delina dupe from your link. I had looked for it prior because someone else had mentioned it as well but all the ones I found were outrageously priced. I have the Delina Exclusif and love it. I have a sample of Rosee and fell in love. Do you know of any good dupes of that one? 🌹
I bought it for my best friend ( she owns Delina Exclusif but wants to save it for special occasions). It is an amazing dupe! Best part: it is beast mode ❤
How do Gypsy Water and Mojave Ghost dupes by Oakcha compare? I know Oil Perfumery is their sister company, and you and your friend said that the oil version of Gypsy Water smelled like socks, lol, so I was wondering about the Oakcha versions. Also, I have loved Nest Indigo for many years (way before Dear Polly came along), and you are so right - it’s way better than Dear Polly. Thanks for the suggestions! Love your content!
@@TheScented thanks! Their Byredo oils are on sale so I may pick up a few. I love Byredo, but can’t always justify the price tag with their longevity (or lack thereof), ya know? Thanks again!
I recently brought the Oil Perfumery version of Gypsy Water and it doesn't smell like socks on me (I love it). It could be that if has been reformulated or different body chemistry. I also have other scents and I'm only iffy about Princess (still playing with it as the drydown is nice).
Wonderful video! After watching this I just placed an order for Aurora. Can you recommend a good perfume oil dupe of BR 540? I have one that I like a lot, but I really value your recommendations. Thank you!
I agree that most of them don't last very long, but they are super strong for the first little while. I'm going mostly based off of a friend of mine who always bathes in their body sprays whenever she leaves the house lol I can smell her intensely for the first 30 min - 1 hr but that's it
I would absolutely do backflips for a "dupe" for "Prada La Femme Intense". The intense version only. I have seen perfumes with the same notes, in the same order. The frangrance is nøt even close. But, I still can't find anyone who has done a dupe, clone, or a similar perfume to Prada; La Femme Intense.
