Today’s video is about an old friend of mine, the good old trusty Curve EQ by Voxengo. It can match frequency spectrums and has some unique features I haven't found in other match EQs so far. Kilohearts Carve EQ can do this too via a sidechain. Carve EQ is minimal phase however.

Can't Fabfilter Q do this? I think you can match eq then invert? I could be wrong.

Great vid per standard Polarity. With using e-kick especially, is there a way to keep the transient constant each time e-kick triggers? The transient seems to always jump and it's hard to reliably dial in processing afterwards because the shifting transient. Apart from bouncing a kick out and using that, how do you deal with constant shifting of the transient in e-kick? Why does this shift happen? How can one stop it and just make it constant?

oooo good stuff! Reminds me of the RE FIR plugin native to Reaper which uses FFT to analyze a spectrum which you can then subtract (I think similar to the invert here) and modify the curve. But now, can we get Reaper plugins into Bitwig? I some "wrappers" online but you might still need a Reaper license. But you've got me thinking!!
