Isn't 1473 said to be better than 1500 to lower the ping because of smaller but more consistent fragments? I think someone tested it and said 1473 improves ping but lowers upload/download a little bit. but im not sure.

Hi, the only thing I can't understand on my ps5. why upload speed is so slow? like its around 900mb/s. download... but upload around 6-7mb/s .. only once i seen around 60mb upload... 😢
@@mateobertille5690 I did.. i brought gley just to test it..and just crafted piercing light sniper, upgraded few mods . Gley: 1.7mill Lepic 1.9mill But.. my Lepic has red mod where increases atk. With Gley brought her hp to minimum,have her full set of these sensor's and in dps mode.. she still done way less dmg that my Lepic

Hi, it might be because of not enough players in your region so it connects to another region, some routers can limit the geo to force game not going further but that could cause much longer times to find match, first see if there's a server of warzone close to your country, then see at what time people tend to play the most on that server, and if you can, try on those times to get better matches.
Is there a solution for losing connection randomly? My ps5 is connected via cable, I have set my ps5s ip to permanent in my router and even did port forwarding for a while it has fixed the problem but lately when i turn on the system it still says that the connection is failed, is there a solution for this?
Hi, there might be many reasons, but I recommend trying these: 1- Change DNS server (if the connection to the router is fine but the internet fails) 2- if you can, try using a different cable (if the router connection also goes off "Lan disconnection") 3- try using another port on your router.
@@DanielZH my dns is set to google 8844 4444 if i remember correctly, cable is fine it is basically brand new, tried another port already but unfortunately the problem still occured
If it works fine, no need to do anything; otherwise, if you got any issues in the games, go with the default and once try 1500, in case you got issues.

@@DanielZH My internet is good I have 500Mg and my ping is always 7 or 4 I tested several games, I realized that freetoplay games work now games that need plus it doesn't work for a while and it knocks me out of the game, I tried FIFA, Uncharted, The Last of Us and nothing. I'm worried... I never had this problem, I renewed my plus last week, I already did a reset on the video game and internet too. I even put games to download, everything is working normally, it's connected to the PSN normally, I just can't play online :(

@@syrupp2689 What I did was change the router and in the settings I left everything at default I kept changing DNS, IP and these things it's all an illusion, I left the default of my internet provider and it's working perfectly now. But the problem was in the router.
Im using asus rt ax 86u pro router. It has 1492 mtu. But some people said 1472 mtu is perfect especially for rpg type games. Not sure if i should try manual mtu on my ps5 or just keep it at automatic.

Hi, typically it tries to set it to max supported value, if it fails, it'll change itself (sometimes may not and if you get packet fragmentation and other errors like that you may need to call your ISP and change to a value they provide or they'll fix it)
I have a kat 6 cable and was told to upgrade to kat8 cable!! I don’t know much about this stuff as I probably spelled the cable wrong lol. Anyway I just upgraded my internet and got the technician to plug my ps5 into a phone Jack that goes directly into the giga hub box without using my router anymore. I have way faster speeds and am at 40 ping playing nhl 24. Any advice to get my ping down to the 20’s?
Hi, a Cat 6 Cable is more than enough for PS5. about the ping, that depends on the game server and your ISP, if there's a server of that game in your country you can usually hit 20ms or less. but if the game server is outside you'll get a higher ping, however, you can ask your ISP to see if they have options to lower the ping some provide services for that.
do you have any method for hotspot i use my mobile to connect my ps5 to internet lately i reduced mtu to 1450 and my ping is reduced to 85 instead of 95 i need it for cod mw2
Hi, SIM Connections have too many variables, Network Bands, Signal, IP, Location, Weather, and time of day, so you can't be sure that MTU actually helped with ping, but if it did, use it!

I have a question, I play a game called The division 2 on ps5, and in pvp there is a certain player that for sure takes less damage to be killed than other players, he is known for this. He doesnt look to be lagging but not all your bullets register on him. He posts videos on YT also and nothing seems obvious apart from taking less damage than his opponent in a 1v1 shoot out. People say he uses mobile hot-spot, vpn, mtu, DNS.... I would like to hear your opinion on this Daniel?
Hi thanks, having packet loss in certine upload spots, limiting the speed in one direction, and many more things could be done for this to happen, it's cheating though, and every game has a different system, so they know what to do exactly, as if not, the game will kick them out.

@@DanielZH not sure why the MTU would be different per device as it’s all going through the same router. I’ve tested and set mine within my router as 1480, this was the most stable when done via CMD prompt when pinging Google. PS5, PS4 and Fire Sticks are all also manually set to 1480 and run perfectly. Just thought rather have people going in blind and mess around with the settings it would be best to show them in 2 minutes.
Need Help. , Ok here is my current set up: 1gig symmetrical ISP service Hard wired ps5 (cat 8) Static IP router ports set/open (port numbers recommended from PS website) DNS set to google 8888/8844 VRR set TV is Samsung q90t Game is Tekken 8 Issue: low upload speed/high rtt/ high delay and rollback frames I have worked with my ISP and PS. The simple answer is that the ethernet port on the PS5 is trash. But here is where I am so bother by this. I randomly did a speed test (on PS5) and got 850mb down/700up. I took a picture. this result was only for 3 days then never again. Any idea as to what to do? Also, I have found that by opening the ports in the router, I actually increased my in game RTT. so that was a mistake. I am considering factory resetting all devices. I am so frustrated.
